Situated at the end of the Seventh Street strip is a burger lover’s heaven. The Burger Spot, as its name suggests, is a casual spot offering quality burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Unlike what you’d get at a fast food joint, the buns, meat, and toppings are all top-notch. If nothing on the menu suits your taste, custom-made burgers are available too. I appreciate the fact that they offer multigrain rolls(or «just the patty») — this will make many dieters happy. Whether you’re ordering take out or visiting the restaurant, The Burger Spot is a solid choice. Tons of options and endless combinations will keep you coming back time and time again.

Order via phone for delivery, I was told to wait 45 minutes and it came in 45 minutes. Food wasn’t super hot but warm enough. They deliver within a 2 miles radius. Will be ordering again in the future. Good: –Texas Burger(Medium Well done) –Athenian Burger(Medium Well done) –Strawberry Milkshake tastes great –Sweet potato fries –Fried Onion Rings –Chipotle Sauce with the Onion Rings was great Bad: –being picky about the packaging of food delivery, please put a cold milkshake in a separate bag as to not make the warm food it comes in contact with cold

I know it might sound crazy but the Turkey Burger might be the best burger on the menu. If not for my wife getting it, I would have never known. Take a chance and order it.

I wanted to update my last review. I had said there was a rude girl who took my order and that was the reason for my 4 star review. Well, since then, I ate there many times and haven’t dealt with a rude person again. Also no one there kept jacking up my order because I wanted fries with my veggie burger instead of a salad. The reason the burger spot is getting 5 stars is simple. they have the best veggie burger around!!! It is delicous! I prefer this over a real burger and that’s how you know it’s damn good. Get one, trust me!

My favorite is the Belgian burger. Avocado, bacon and bleu cheese bliss. Cooked to perfection every time I order it. Not really a fan of the fries, but that’s my taste. Get the onion rings and the ranch dressing. A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny.

I went to the burger spot Friday night with my parents. We wanted something quick to eat because of course we were doing last minute Halloween shopping lol. It’s a small place, definitely more of a pick up and go. But we found a table and were able to sit down. My mom had a bacon cheese burger which came with avocado, lettuce, tomato and their house sauce. My mom isn’t a real sauce person so she didn’t get it lol. I had a Californian turkey burger which also came with avocado, lettuce, tomato, onions and their house sauce with a side of fries and of course a lemonade. They do have ice tea but I’m always a little sketch about trying ice tea bc I like sweet ice tea lol so next time I’ll take the plunge and try it. Almost every other custom had a cup of it so it must be good. Back to the food, my dad had the garden city chicken sandwich. It came with avocado(can u tell we love avocado lol) lettuce, tomato, cilantro and this herb sauce with a side of fries. Oh yea, my mom also got a chocolate shake which she fell in love with. So we sat down and waited for our food. It came out about 10 mins after we order, maybe a little longer. It was understandable tho because they make everything to order. So fresh! Once the food came my father and I split our sandwiches. I tried the garden city chicken sandwich first. Omg was it amazing! Lol the chicken was so juicy and that herb sauce made every bite more and more enjoyable. The cilantro was such a nice add on that wasn’t over powering. I feel like it really complemented the avocado and chicken. It was all so delicious, I couldn’t stop eating it and telling my mom she would love it lol. Now it was time for the turkey burger. It was like this place could do no wrong because it was just as amazing! They do put raw onions for anyone who does not like raw onions. For me, I usually don’t but these were so good for some reason and did not overpower any of the flavors from the turkey patty. The house sauce was delicious(I’m a sauce person lol tell me a sauce and I’ll try it at least once lol esp on a sandwich) every bite I took was like heaven lol. So well balanced, even the buns they use were great. They weren’t soggy or too toasted. I didn’t taste my moms burger bc I wasn’t in the mood for one but she said it was the closest burger to our favorite burger spot(JG Melons). Which is a BIG deal since we have been looking for a burger place closer to home. She devoured her burger so quick and she isn’t an easy woman to please when it comes to food lol. As for the fries, I usually need ketchup and my mom is like the salt queen! She puts that sh*t on everything lol and we didn’t need any of that for the fries. They were crispy and well seasoned. We had 2 orders for us to share and that was more than enough for the 3 of us. Overall, this place is now one of my favorite spots when I want a good sandwich and in a rush but don’t want fast food. As soon as we got home I was raving about it to my boyfriend and brother. If you’re looking for a place that has fresh food but need it quick and has a sweet staff this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning very soon to explore the rest of the menu. A proud new customer!

Good place for a quick bite. I had gotten a turkey burger with guacamole, and my girlfriend got a turkey burger with avocado and some other things on it. I believe hers was called the Californian. Both were very good, as were the fries. The prices were reasonable and the food came out pretty quick. Great for a quick burger. We will be back.

Good spot that will neither let you down or blow you away. A little expensive, but the burgers are very good and the staff is always pleasant. Cozy/Small space lends itself to the specialty burger type restaurant you come to expect from similar places like Bobby’s Burgers, Shake Shack, and Smash Burger.

We ordered delivery to one of our local bars in Mineola the other day. They deliver within a two mile radius so I guess we made the cut. Quick delivery, took about 30 min for 4 different burgers, not too bad. I personally had the Garden City burger, chicken, avocado, pesto and fixings. Was good but the grilled chicken was dry, had to put a lot of ketchup on it to give it something. Either marinate the chicken or don’t over cook it. The fries that come with the burgers are pretty good and a decent amount. I like that the four orders we place came in one giant brown bag with 4 separate smaller bags indicated who’s order was who’s. Not bad place but would only order for delivery, no intention of going out of my way.

Gross. I asked for medium rare and got raw. Blood was dripping out the bottom of the burger and the bun was soaked. Onion rings were cold.

Clean bright spot with friendly enthusiastic staff that takes care of your every burger need. And speaking of those fresh juicy burgers. This is a place for any ground beef lover. Nice menu selections; go ala carte, choosing your basic burger and topping it your way, or choose from the several specialty burgers they offer, which include fries all for $ 10. I went cheeseburger with the works and was not disappointed. They’ve got a couple of sauces that you should love. Fries are dusted to make them crispy, which was a mistake that a fast food giant made years ago and it fails here too. Just let the potato taste come through, hot and crunchy. That way you won’t need to serve fries with blue cheese sauce. You order at the register so there’s no delay(no line on this weekday for lunch) and someone brings you the food. Only issue is the runners are in and out the door every 9 seconds because they make 3 different trips for every outside table of three. The rush of hot air and napkins flying in summer stinks, and would be worse in winter, as most tables are near the door. Enjoy.

With the proliferation of specialty burger«spots» in the past few years many places only get one shot to make a great impression and unfortunately my experience here did not leave such a lasting one. After looking over the menu for a bit we place our order. I like that they have two cashiers because the one cashier that was taking a customer’s order was visibly perturbed at her indecisiveness, or she was trying to make too many ridiculous substitutions. My cashier was friendlier, but my order was much simpler. I decided to go with one of the«specialty» burgers called the Texan and I asked for it medium. I usually order burgers this way because from my experience in most places when you ask for rare you get something that is simply raw in the middle. I prefer between medium rare and medium — as long as it is pink and juicy it is fine by me. To my dismay my burger and bun were overdone. The meat was very much on the well done side and i was disappointed that the brioche bun was blackened. The bacon, cheddar, onion ring and copious amounts of BBQ sauce couldn’t save or cover this mess of a burger. The poor cooking job left the meat rather dry and flavorless. On the plus side the fries were interesting and obviously processed. They reminded me of tater tots in french fry form — it came with a nicely flavored ranch dipping sauce. My wife ordered the classic cobb salad with the dressing on the side. The salad was decent enough and came with a nice amount of ingredients, but I couldn’t help to think of the salads you can get from La Bottega that probably have double the ingredients for around the same cost. Another disappointment was the lack of fountain sodas. Yes, beer and wine are available, but for me, like ordering a burger, it is a rare treat nowadays which I like to have along with, preferable unlimited, fountain soda. Unfortunately, not an option found here, but available at so many other burger places. I still gave it 3 stars because the place had pretty brisk business so I may be missing something here. There are other interesting items on the menu such as the Alaskan and Atlantic burgers made with crab meat and salmon respectively. Along with the Salmon Kale salad. I may be back to see if they treat creatures from the sea with more respect than their burgers on this occasion.

Great recommendation from another Unilocaler, Bill S… We stopped by this place for dinner on a Friday night. The place was busy. It’s a small place with an indoor & outdoor dining area. The staff here were pretty friendly. We got the Alaskan burger & the Swiss. Both burgers came with a side order of fries & ranch sauce. The Alaskan burger is unique. Instead of beef patty, the Alaskan burger came with a crab meat patty. Whoa! It was really good! Both burgers & the fries were absolutely amazing! So much flavor & the meat on the Swiss burger is so juicy. The size of the burger is good. This is another burger place where you can find both quality & quantity on their food. All total with drinks, we spent about $ 27& it was definitely worth it. We were definitely full. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely go back!

The best way to melt an Anglo-Saxon jawline. Within minutes, my strapping young face began to hang like a net fulla pineapples; nothing like a delicious, fatty hamburger to make light of a bad day. I noticed an idiot had posted a picture of the salmon salad while venting about the lettuce vs kale ratio. He should’ve read that it includes kale, lettuce and quinoa among many other nutritiously fruitful ingredients. This shall serve as my literary call to arms to defend it! It’s a stomach friendly pile of leaves, bolstered by an interesting honey dill salmon patty. Flakey, crusty; sorta like how I prefer my women. Order it if you’re trying to avoid hamburger love handles and pack in omega 3’s.

As the name of the place says, it is THEBURGERSPOT! After seeing fellow Unilocaler reviews, and all of the tantalizing pictures teasing my taste buds i finally gave in to temptation! As soon as you park and get out of the car all you smell is grilled burgers. I am like a blood hound following the scent! The scent leads me to the burger spot! After a recent review I had one thing on my mind, the Mexican burger. I walk in and I was greeted by the friendly help. I ordered the Mexican, and noticed they had sweet potato fries and they did not mind swapping them for the regular fries. It was a little bit of a wait as they cook everything to order which is nice. It took about 20 minutes but it is well worth the wait. The burger was juicy and delicious, and was cooked the way I asked for it! Unlike most places where they cook food the way THEY want it! The sweet potato fries are outrageous, and come with a mayo dip! This is now MY burger spot, and if you have not tried this place, DOIT! I guarantee this will be YOUR burger spot too!

Last week I hit The Burger Spot. I actually did a business lunch there, because I will take good food over swanky atmosphere any day of the week. The bill was around $ 30 for the two of us, and I think my business colleague appreciated the food too. They could use some more tables, but it probably gets easier in the summer when the outside tables become available. Inside it’s pretty cramped. Don’t come with a crowd if you plan on eating there. My order was rather simple. I had the Texas Burger(bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce and an onion ring) and the first thing that struck me was the fantastic brioche bun. Soft, warm and tasty. Somehow the right bun can make a good burger into a great one. The burger itself, ordered medium, was cooked right and the toppings were very good. I was especially pleased that there was a nice pool of melted cheddar. Yum! As a side order I went with the onion rings. There were hot and crisy, but I just couldn’t tell if these were authentic home made or frozen dropped in the fryer. Eitehr way, they didn’t detract from the experience. If I’m in Garden City and I’m hungry, I’m not going to risk it. My spot is The Burger Spot.

I was in the neighborhood doing some shopping and wanted to avoid the basic burger chains. I searched Unilocal and all roads led to BSpot. I was greeted by a friendly cashier. I wanted to taste the quality of beef so I ordered the no frills Cheeseburger $ 7.50 and added caramelized onions for a $ 1 in addition to an order of fries $ 3. I was informed a house sauce would be free for dipping. The food is cooked fresh once your order is placed. This meant 15 minutes-20 for those caramelized onions. When my food came it was perfect. The meat was fine Grade A prime choice cut. No fat. The charcoal taste of this BBQ style burger was an orgasm on a bun!(No pun). The fresh romaine, tomato & red onion was crisp and delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. Crisp, lightly salted, hot and paired with that house Italian dressing!!! They would have gained a star if they had a larger dining area and menu. I’d like to see more beverages. I’d like to see a renovation. This is great for takeout. Smash burger is my favorite but I will definitely be back for the BBQ style burgers they are serving up here. I would like to try more of the specialty items like the Greek Athena burger & salmon.

Good burgers but their fries was on point; light, crispy, not as greasy, and had the right amount of seasoning for my buds. I was satisfied that they gave me what I ordered: in my experience fast food joints usually don’t comprehend the difference between medium-rare and well done. This restaurant is clean and is self service, tipping was optional. The staff was very friendly and brought the food to us after we found our seats. You have the option of sitting inside or outdoors, but prefer the latter especially when it’s a beautiful sunny day out.
