I guess they USED to be café mumuni, but now they’re Café Orange? I had a major taro smoothie craving and most boba joints except nasty Lollicup were open so I dropped by this place. It was empty for the most part and only 1 girl was working. I got the taro smoothie and they don’t have boba so my smoothie was boring! In addition probably the worst taro smoothie I’ve ever had. The powder must’ve been old or something ’cause it had a weird bitter after taste from each sip. I ended up throwing it away

The menu has change :(. New owners, new deco. A plus they now offer cards and other game boards to entertain their customers +++ FYI: They no longer sell the cereal drinks. Although they kept the cereal as a display, but just for decoration. Name of the business has also changed to Café Orange. The waffles are not the same. They’re smaller. They lost their spark, no longer make me get a mouth orgasm lol. They’re good, just not bomb. I won’t be driving 30 mins to get them. If I’m down the street maybe I’ll buy them. I’ll give 2 stars for trying.

I really like going here. Everything I’ve tried here has been good(waffles and slushies). Owner was very nice and great place to study. It’s called Café Orange now and will open again on 10⁄9. Hopefully it will still have yummy food. Fingers crossed!

This is a quiet place to hangout and enjoy some good snacks/desserts. Really enjoy the freshly made waffles here. The best around this area. The shave ice is pretty standard – nothing spectacular. I would enjoy this place more if it has a wider selection of non-milktea. Sometimes I just want that.

The green tea shaved ice was pretty tasty with really interesting toppings which included fruity pebbles, mochi, fruit cocktail, fresh strawberries, blueberries, red bean, and green tea ice cream. My favorite was the rainbow fruity pebbles cereal milk. It tastes like blended milk and cereal which was incredibly delicious. Large desserts were great but now I have a sugar induced stomachache.

Decided I wanted to eat something sweet one night so my cousin and I dropped in on this cute little shop. It had this boba shop feel as we walked in, which actually felt kind of welcoming considering that we are huge boba lovers. One order of a waffle desert is quite large so we decided to share. We got the Nutella custard waffle that can be ordered with strawberries«or» bananas, but don’t be fooled by what the menu on the chalk board says because you can actually include BOTH toppings! Crazy right?! …. . Half of the waffle would be enough to fill me up but since it was too sweet for my taste I actually ate less than half. My cousin did the same. Something just didn’t seem right with the texture. Maybe it was the waffle? I don’t know but something about this dish didnt taste as impressive as Bruxie’s waffle deserts. If I were to compare both I would choose Bruxie’s Nutella custard waffle over this place anyday.

The service here is absolutely wonderful. Came here late night and the two girls working were so sweet and helpful. Got the classic milk tea with boba and a Nutella custard banana waffle. The milk tea was perfect sweetness. The boba could have some more flavor but texture-wise it was soft and chewy. I always get the waffle here because the combination of custard and Nutella is perfect to hit the late night sweet spot. Definitely would recommend. Note: check in for $ 3 for any cold drink. Not much of a saving, but it’s something.

This cute, tiny shop is a good place to study. The atmosphere is chill and pretty laid back! Food. I enjoyed my Custard Flan Boba Iced Milk but it was a bit on the sweet side. I’ll ask for less Caramel or less sweetness next time :) My friend loved his popcorn chicken and claims to be the best he’s ever had. It looked fresh to me so kudos to that! Service. She was nice and told me that she can adjust my drink if it was too sweet. But I was lazy do I didn’t haha Looking forward for this small business to grow.

As always, their slush drinks are amazing! I came back with a friend and a helpful worker, Peter, introduced us to the CEREALSLUSH. We originally ordered one«RAINBOW Flint stone»(fruity pebbles) to share. But after that first sip, my friend wanted to get his own! So he ordered the«CINNAMON cascade»(cinnamon toast crunch), which is now his favorite drink! I came back the next day to get more and I will definitely come back with friends to try the other flavors. The owner Amy is very friendly and helpful. Tell her DIANA sent you :)

Atmosphere: Casual. It is a small shop that has a handful of tables. Favorite item: Popcorn Chicken Ordered items: strawberry milk boba, chicken and waffles and Nutella with strawberry and bananas waffle. Café Mumuni was good, to be honest nothing really stood out. I like the waffles that they had paired with various fruit combinations or chicken, they weren’t thick Belgium waffles they were thing, light and crispy waffles. The Popcorn chicken was amazing, it had a light flaky layer of breading and Cajun seasoning. **Offered a Unilocal-Check in $ 3.00 off any 20 oz. beverage**

Came here for the first time last week and the girlfriend and I loved it. Simple interior so you’re not busy taking it all in when you walk in, great happy workers that went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with everything. The two girl employees, Tammy and Jennifer made our experience personal, instead of just the«hi, what would you like» kind of response. They were friendly, asked us how our day was and explained everything since it was our first time. Our order came out quickly and was correct and was double checked by the staff. 10⁄10 will come here again, food was tasty and drinks were awesome. To anyone complaining about how long your wait was, look at their staff. They had just two girls doing EVERYTHING, from the cooking, to brewing, to taking orders, to bussing tables. Blame the management for not hiring more than two people to run everything. Hire more people, just because you CAN do it with two people, doesn’t mean you should.

Café Mumuni first impressed me by the way customers, such as I, have been treated by the workers. Bubbly, energetic, and chill, the workers here are really easy to talk to and are willing to take special orders or make different adjustments according to your tastebud needs. I ordered the original jasmine milk tea with no boba, and fearing that it wouldn’t taste good due to my liking of a more tea and less milk ratio, I asked if she could add more tea, and surely she did! Luckily, the ratio was perfect, and the milk tea was made to my palate. Many places prepare their milk teas beforehand so having an adjustable tea is refreshing. I will be returning from time to time!

This place has a lot of potential. A lot. I hope they stay in business because they deserve to be with what they do. I see the love oozing from the worker here(she said her name is Tamy). Very considerate, and hardworker. She makes the food and drink with love and that’s what makes a café stands out. We had the vanilla custard with berries. Interesting, though I prefer my fruits fresh and cold. I wish there were more in the order(more/thicker waffles) though. Cool presentation. The crispy texture blended properly with the custard. The drinks… are average. Interesting, but average. We had matcha tea and the flan drink. Flan drink was weird but good. Never had one before, I thought it was a bit too sweet. Then the matcha, it’s more of the matcha green tea latte and the milk taste overpowered the matcha tea. The place itself needs a little warmth and appeal. There’s a lot of space that they can utilize. I wanna work there to help them make it all decked and effective — like having a paper menu would be nice, giving real utensils to the customers, making the place inviting, pictures of their food on their displays, and some other overheads. Again, lots of potential.

Part of me didn’t want to share anything about this place because it’s my secret and I don’t want it to get crowded. but the other part of me says I should share to make sure it stays in business. This is a small boba/dessert place on Garden Grove Blvd! There’s a handful of tables and plenty of outlets/power strips, and free wifi. Good place to study, no crazy loud music blaring and blenders whirring, but light radio playing in the background. The drinks I’ve tried are good; the almond milk tea, sea salt jasmine green tea, my friend loves the strawberry yogurt slush. There is usually only one person working, so BEPATIENT. if you’re in a rush, I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you want to order food, expect a wait. It’s worth it though! I’ve had the popcorn chicken + basil waffles, and the vanilla custard berry waffle. The popcorn chicken is crispy and well seasoned, it comes with a savory, mayo-y sauce. The basil waffles are amazing! They basically cook fresh basil into the slightly crispy, delicate, fluffy waffle. The vanilla custard waffle was also slightly crispy waffle sandwiching a layer of lightly sweet custard and fresh berries. The waffles have always been cooked to perfection, soft with some crispy edges. Minimum $ 5 for credit card and you can get any drink for $ 3 if you check-in on Unilocal!Small, private parking lot that isn’t too busy + additional parking to the side/back. I’ve met the lady that works here(i think owner) + a younger girl and they are both very sweet.

We called five minutes earlier thanks to helpful tips on Unilocal. It saved us a lot of time, because we were in a rush to go attend a concert. I can see why it could be slow with only one worker. Poor thing! The small drinks are acutally very big and discounted if you check in for 3 dollars. The almond milk tea did not hit the spot! It was just too milky for me. The flan drink was tooooo sweet, I would request for no caramel next time. I will have to try other drinks to get a clear picture of the establishment. Overall, the worker was sweet and polite. And it seems like a good spot to study! I give it a 3 for effort(: But to be honest, i am not sure if I would come back again.

Love their custard filled with berries waffle! It was sooooooo good. Waffle was buttery and crispy. The custard wasn’t too sweet and went perfectly with the tartness of the berries. I’ve always been a fan for almond milk tea, especially when it’s hot. You can smell the almond aroma when I take the lid off. It’s the best smell ever coming from milk tea, that is, haha. Finally, we weren’t filled so we ordered one other thing on the menu. Popcorn chicken! It was nice and hot since they were frying it to order. My only complaint was, the chicken wasn’t crispy. Not sure why, but the flavor was good. All in all, good place to hang out and grab some dessert. I will definitely be back to try other waffles and drinks on the menu.

The Skinny: Cool new hangout place that is still kind of on the lesser known side. Good tea and desserts here. Environment: Parking here is in a small plaza, but because it is fairly new and there is another tea place walking distance from it, it isn’t too hard to find parking. Usually come here at night though so I can’t speak about daytime. In addition, this place is near some good restaurants and tofu houses so you can easily drop by afterwards. Inside the place it isn’t too large, but they leave enough space to not feel claustrophobic. Modern designs. Service: Haha, good service people but sometimes forgetful. Two times they messed up my order, mistakenly making it a hot drink vs a cold drink. However, they fixed it no problem and no hassle. The people here are very nice and friendly, no attitudes that I have seen yet. Food/Drinks: I usually get the Lavender Milk Tea or Jasmine Milk Tea here. What I like about this place is that their milk teas are not overly sweet compared to many other places I have been to. In addition, their sweet drinks really are good if you are into that kind of thing. I used to order this one chocolate drink a long time ago when I still had major sweet tooth, and I remember it being amazing. As for the dessert, love their waffles. We got the waffle with banana and nutella, and it was also just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. Waffles were crisp. Overall: 4⁄5 Aside from being a little on the small side and slightly forgetful service, this place is solid. I like that the place compensated for the size of the room by spacing out seats to make it feel less claustrophobic. You should visit here if you are looking for some good desserts and drinks and want an alternative to the«other» place around here.

Got the popcorn chicken waffle and nutella/banana waffle for my Gf and me. For $ 13! Good size for a good price. The chicken was very good, not filled with battered like most boba places. It is moist and tender. The dessert waffle is not too sweet, exactly how my Gf like it. THEYDONOTSERVELUNCHWAFFLESANYMORE(tuna, Turkey, etc…). Some of the pictures on Unilocal shows that they do, but not anymore. The service was meh. I think it’s family owned so there was only one worker taking order and preparing the food. There was only one other family in at lunch time, but it still took about 15 minutes for my order. But the server DID warned me it would take 10 – 15 mins for my chicken, which I appreciate. Tl;Dr Food is great/cheap. Service is meh. I would definitely come back again.

I am from San Diego and I come up to Orange County a lot to try boba places and I have not found any boba places that had an iced milk drink that is just as good as the one down at Infinitea. Until now that is! This is my first time at Café Mumuni with my sister! I ordered the Caramel Custard Flan Boba Ice Milk and it was very tasteful! I was second guessing it since it looked a bit watery but the taste says otherwise. I love the sweet caramel aftertaste that did not overflow with ice blocks in my mouth. 2 Stars! My sister ordered the Honey Jasmine Milk Tea and I was watching the employee make her drink. The proportion of honey to milk made the drink not too sweet not too bland. Minimum ice made the drink look more appealing to us since other shops usually fill their cups with 2⁄3 ice, we did not even have to ask for ratio change! 2 stars! I did not get to ask for the employee’s(or manager’s) name but she was very kind and welcoming when we first walked in. It looked a bit lonely since she was working by herself but I give her props for making these amazing drinks! 1 star! Definitely coming back next time!

Replaced Café T in the small strip plaza, but there’s plenty of parking. They have waffles, shaved ice, and other snacks that these type of cafes have. I’ve only been here for one drink so far, but I will definitely be back to try the dessert waffles! What we got: Small & Large Caramel Custard Flan Iced Milk($ 3.50/$ 4): comes with pudding and boba, but I like mine without the boba. Loved the drink! I’ve been craving an iced milk drink and this definitely hit the spot. It’s sweet though, but definitely delicious! Service: I thought it took longer than usual since no one else was there. The straws are pre-wrapped, but the guy opened it with his hands and placed it in my drink… I have issues with people’s fingers touching my straw since it’s going into my mouth… It was a nice gesture though…

The menu at Café Mumuni wasn’t too extensive– they had the standard milk teas, coffees, and shakes. They have some delicious looking waffles, shaved ice, and snow ice as well. My dad played it safe and got the taro shake, while I tried something new: mung bean colada! Omgoodness! That was delicious! I wanted to save some, but I ended up drinking the whole thing on the car ride back home… sigh. They have different flavor options for coladas too, which I’ve never really seen before at a boberz/dessert café. Next time, I wanna try the red bean colada. The taro shake wasn’t too sweet either. Just right. Not great, not bad. The small size is HUGE for $ 3.75? $ 3.95? Something like that. You also get a free add-on, but I didn’t try any. The café itself had enough seating, and it wasn’t too crowded. Seems like a nice place to study. There’s no blaring music! The only thing I wish they had was some plain hot tea!(Not milk tea)
