I loveeee the chicken wrap here! There is one girl I forgot her name but she hooks it up and so friendly. The girl that wear glasses is ok, she doesn’t seem cheerful but she doesn’t hook it up. But overall the chicken wrap is very flavorful! I loveee the taste every bite I make.

Ehh wraps are basically an $ 8 cold burrito with pickles and hummus inside. Pressed so its crisp on the outside and room temperature on the inside. Line moves slow so bring your textbooks on algebraic topology. Need a Chipotle in this area.

Inside Fresh Choice Market This place is sooooo good and delicious I don’t know what to say… but if you like Zankou Chicken this is its contender for first place on my list of bomb Arabic food. You need to come at certain times but if you want falafel its always fresh and green and the meat is always good, all the condiments are amazing I always get this, I call it a Arabic Burrito and they laugh at me but its Bombness. Chicken Wrap or Fallafel doesn’t matter they are both good. Then add the 3 veggie salad which is cucumbers, tomatoes and something else I forget but it’s in small Pieces mixed up maybe it’s parsley, then add pickles Garlic spread, hummus, tahini, and the yogurt Spread but not too much, onions if you prefer and the hot sauce, that is a secret from the owner. And also they grill the burrito after which is smart. and for my secret touch I add the yellow rice, which makes it a burrito hahaha It’s like an orgy in your mouth of Flavors, damn I’m going tomorrow hahaha Finish it off with a mint yogurt drink

My wife was on a gyro /sherwarma craving mode(3rd gyro plate I’ve gotten her food in a period of 5 days, lol). The latest entrant to the fray was Falafelo. I was in a hurry and just glanced at the ratings my Unilocal Friends gave Falafelo. Mostly 4 and 5 stars, great. So off I went. I got there and I can’t find this place. Where is this place? I parked the car and looked at the review again and voila, It’s inside the Fresh Choice Market. And it’s in their food court. What?! I had serious reservation at that point. I go inside the market and found them, I was not impressed. Most of the food item on the warming tray looked dry, burnt and over cooked. The rotisserie chicken(which I was planning to get) was on the pale side(So I passed on it). But i was their for the gyro and that looked good on the rotating vertical spit. With hesitation I order the Gyro Plate. It came with rice, hummus and salad. I saw them cutting the gyro and I was starting to like what I saw. They were cutting thick slices of gyro, yes!!. The taste?! DELICIOUS! One of the best gyro meat I’ve had. The yogurt sauce it came with was a bit weak though. The hummus wasn’t your typical hummus. It had more tahini(sesame paste) taste to it. I like tahini, so I liked that version of hummus =) The salad was a cucumber salad and it worked well mixed with the yogurt sauce. The two warm pita bread was on point. Service was fast and friendly. Price was reasonable. Parking was a bit hectic since it’s a busy market. But there’s plenty of parking and you’ll be able to find one I’m sure(you just might have to walk a bit, lol) I came late on a Sunday, so they might not have had the best array of dishes to show. But the Gyro was legit and I would come back for those babies any time. Yum Yum Yum! 2015 Review #171

This place is inside fresh choice marketplace. Had the chicken wrap and yes it’s garlicky but awesome. Next time I come I will try the shawarma plate, as all the food there looked delish!

Seriously? This place is bombbbb. I usually come in for the wraps, because it’s quick and easy to eat when I’m on my lunch break. I love the chicken shwerma. It’s well seasoned and juicy. The wraps are pretty big and full of flavor. For the chicken wrap, they include tomato, onions, parsley, and GARLICPASTE(MYFAVORITE!!). Don’t judge me, but I effing love garlic and I tend to base my opinions on how garlicky my food is. And yup, it’s pretty garlicky. In fact, it’s so packed with garlic flavor that it could be used as a vampire repellent. TL;DR: Delicious chicken shwerma wraps and amazing garlic paste. Located inside the supermarket.

Long wait(20 min) to place an order and the employees don’t know how to give the Unilocal discount.

Good portioned, good tasting falafel wrap. Falafel was fresh and the option to make it spicy added a lot. Gets a little messy with juices dripping from the bottom. Next time I can go without the two types of pickled veg.

This place is inside Fresh Choice and part of there food court. Food is really tasty but what makes them loose is a star is they charge 1 dollar for yogurt sauce for your chicken or meat sandwich. It’s only included if you get the gyro sandwich. All and all food is good. The other star is lost because on my last visit the chicken on my sandwich was undercooked, tasteless, gummy, and mostly fat.

Unilocal challenge 2015. 152⁄365 *update* Fa la fa la La, Fa la Falafel-O Located inside the very busy Fresh Choice supermarket’s food court at the corner of Brookhurst and Katela on the border of Anaheim and Garden Grove. Your not going to see it from the street, since it is inside the store. Im not going to lie. Parking sucks. The lot is huge, but a lot of people shop here, so it is always busy. Try parking further away. Outside, they have a eating area where you can enjoy your food. Behind the glass counter at this take out resturant sits a beef schwarma and chicken schwarma ready to be cut and stuffed into a wrap, pita or on a plate. Lots of condiments available including, yellow rice, garlic sauce, onions, lettuce, tabouli, tahini sauce, hot sauce, ect. The wraps are almost the size of my forearm. Which means Half for lunch and half for dinner. The chicken schwarma with extra garlic sauce is decent, maybe a little dry on the dry side. But I still like coming here, even if it is not the best schwarma. Service is usually pretty friendly. They move quick during lunch time to fill the orders. Unilocal check in saves you 10%.

This place is absolutely delicious. You’ve got to try their chicken Schwerma with extra onions extra garlic, unless you’re on a first date of course. Their prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that you get. I go here once a week for lunch and every time I’ve been completely satisfied with the food and the customer service.

Your charbroiled chicken that I bought on 6÷7÷15 was the worst chicken ever. It was tasteless and not cooked well. Your garlic sauce was even worse. I have been a regular customer for 2 years and seems the chef has changed recently. I won’t recommend this place after today.

There was a special printed in the ad for $ 1.99 Falafel. The lady helping checked the ad and it was the last day. Next thing you know, another lady told the one that was helping me something and then they told me they’re not doing the special anymore. No reason why or anything. Communication to customer is just as bad as communication among workers. I don’t think I’ll be returning here anymore.

Hands Down! Best Falafel EVER This is the shwarma, gyro, falafel place in the Fresh Choice supermarket food court. Yes, their gyros and shwarmas are good but most meat hungry folks don’t know how good their falafel pita/wrap are. OMG. I know a lot of ethnic cultures make falafel. Jamal, the boss, is Lebanese and he knows how to make it right. Maybe I have never had Lebanese falafels? You can buy individual falafels for $ .50 each but you should have it with the fixins so go for the wrap or the pita. They sell as a pita or a wrap and recently they will make a bowl with rice. If you get a wrap, you can choose the fixins but if you get the pita(or the coupon special(see Fresh Choice flyer)) you will need to have the ‘traditional’ which means ‘limited fixins’ so you should ask what the traditional includes because it tends to vary depending on what’s available and who is serving. With my falafel sandwich, I opt for the garlic paste instead of the hummus, add pickles, pickled turnips(colored pink by beets), some tomatoes and top it off with my own sriracha. There is indoor/outdoor seating and it tends to be empty during weekday lunch time.

Chicken Shawarma Wraps here are like big burritos(for about $ 6 bucks). Tasted like a yummy Middle Eastern burrito too. They also have the pita version for a little bit less, but the wraps seem to be the hot items that everyone in line was getting. I added 2 Falafels to for $ 1 on the side. They tasted just ok, but at least the cashier girl hooked me up with some free extras. 0:) You can’t see Falafelo from the parking lot; it’s located inside the Fresh Choice Marketplace. A great grab for lunch. You also get 10% off items for checking in on Unilocal

Why was I disappointed? 1) They ran out of pita bread. Ok, so go into the market and replenish. The restaurant is inside the food court area of a market, so why can’t the employee step out a few feet and go purchase pita. how the heck to do you run out? This tells me that the employees are ignorant and are not paying attention to when they need to restock their items. 2) The falafel was so so so so so so so salty. I could barely eat 2 falafels! though they do prepare them fresh to order, I just didn’t like it at all. It was just super crispy on the outside, green on the inside, and just wasn’t my kind of falafel. 3) A huge heaping pile of hummus is served on your plate, to which I was super duper ecstatic, until I tasted it. Umm… isn’t hummus made out of garbanzo beans? Then why does this one look gray and doesn’t taste like it at all? It tasted rubbery, plastic. that prob doesn’t make sense. but it just wasn’t good. 4) When I asked for rice, she scraped the bottom, rather than scooping from the top portion, which means that I was served hard, crispy rice rather than the softer ones on top. I could barely chew on my rice because it was rock hard and would stick to my teeth. Plus, it came with an overwhelming portion of rice, which is only good if you can actually chew, eat, and enjoy the rice. I basically threw away over half of the rice portion because it was the hard parts. Falafelo, I dunno why your rating is high. I just wished you did a better job.

Have been addicted to the grilled chicken for the last couple months here, it is Aaamazing! It’s so good I was literally coming here every day to get that chicken. Mohammed and Vanessa don’t even have to ask what I want… they already know. This is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. It’s Mediterranean style, slow-roasted in this secret lemon mixture that Mohammed baste over the roasting meat. It’s served on this thin wrap bread that soaks in all the drippings from the chicken and taste like heaven. I am still in awe of how much food you get for a little over 10 dollars. Not to mention while your waiting you can load up on free samples from the surrounding places.
