Not a pleasant experience for us. Wrong prescription issued by the Optometrist, I questioned it and was told my daughter would need an adjustment period. We ordered the glasses which took 2 weeks and were so thick that she couldn’t see through the lenses, she has worn glasses all her life and never had a problem. When we returned to the office, the staff acted like we did something wrong«we told you to pick a smaller frame». Turns out indeed #1 — the RX was wrong and #2 — the lab made the lenses wrong and the centers were off. Replacement glasses took 2 more weeks and I had to call them for follow-up and the receptionist never relayed my message to the clerk after she told me they would be ready. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

Garden Grove optometry is a wonderful business. I very much enjoy the service that they give when I go for my exam and pick out my glasses. The staff is very patient and they do a great job with their service. I never feel rushed the way I do at other optometrists. I will return here every year.

When I was a kid, I actually wanted glasses. But as I’ve grown older, I don’t. O.O I have never before specifically visited an optometrist, at least I can’t remember having seen one. So when I finally felt that I should make an effort – truth be told, vitamin bottle labels were slowly becoming blurry – I asked some of my co-workers(the four-eyed ones) who their optometrists were. As you can SEE, Garden Grove Optometry was recommended. In the city of Garden Grove, it’s on the east side of Brookhurst St., and the major cross street is Garden Grove Blvd. It’s simple to find. What’s funny, though, is the parking lot associated with it. You’ll simply park right out in front, but you’ll notice that practically each and every parking space has been assigned to specific offices, stores, or restaurants within the lot. I doubt that it’s policed. It would seem a wasted effort, although I was tempted to park in an unoccupied spot designated for another business anyway, just to see if I could create some anxiety. All in fun, though, who cares? I am sure no one really does. :) Regardless, the staff of professionals at Garden Grove Optometry was very welcoming. And knowing that this would probably become a lasting relationship between these doctors’ offices and myself, it was important that I felt at home and that I liked them. Because once I had chosen my first – gulp! – optometrist, I didn’t want to have to choose another. But I don’t believe that I’ll have to worry. I like it here. I like the people here. So, yes, I ended up having to get glasses – just for reading, nothing more – but I am sure that I haven’t SEEN the last of Dr. Inman. And I’m sure she hasn’t seen the last of me. :)
