I love their Thai woo sin(glass noodles). They are my favorite. Prices are normal. We usually order take out since they can get busy for dine in. Food always looks fresh and taste good. The service is fine as well.

Food was good. Service was… Ahhhhhy. Oookaaayyy, The female Server seemed to be in kind of a bad mood.. Body language was very off putting. Didn’t really have a good attitude. But I have seem worse and I do get that everyone can have a bad day. Really missing thia princes off of beach tho. I would recommend this place for lunch. We got the crab fried rice with egg. good. I also got the teriyaky chicken lunch plate. It wasn’t put together well. Got half scoop of rice and didn’t look anything like the photo. Not even close. But… It did taste pretty darn good. So there is that. They also have a good thia coffee as well. Buddy got yellow curry lunch plate and was put together better. And tasted good as well. All around 4 stars. Place was clean and inviting.

After not having been here for a while I decided to get a takeout order. I ordered spicy beef salad and sticky rice. Salad was cool, definitely not the med rare temp I ordered and the sticky rice was far too old to be served. You can only reheat sticky rice so many times before it’s too old. It also came with a strand of black hair. Their carelessness shows in both the food they serve as well as their customer service(or lack there of) and no longer recommend this place.

I love Thai food so I’m always here. I get the yellow curry a lot, but I wish they served it with a baguette instead of rice. I also really like their pineapple fried rice, and their Thai tea is probably the best I’ve tasted. When it’s in season, definitely try the mango sticky rice! Yum.

I live walking distance to Jumpa Thai. I’ve seen this place start out struggling for business to now being a very busy restaurant. This is actually my favorite Thai restaurant– it’s a large, clean space with comfortable furniture. It doesn’t feel like a dirty, creepy hole in the wall establishment that some Thai restaurants give. I’ve tried– tom yum ka soup(good flavor soup, little meat and veggie) stuffed chicken wings, pad see ew and pad Thai(taste good), Panang curry(good flavor), beef salad, papaya salad, shrimp salad(good taste, solid choices), Etc. Overall, the food is good. However, I’m not happy with the service. The last two times I came, we were served by a stone face waitress. When we asked for something or order something extra, she didn’t even bother to say yes to acknowledge she heard us. Very rude.

I’ve past by this place since I was little, but was never a fan of Thai until I grew a little bit older & now Thai is my #1. With that said, I came here with my boyfriend and it was pretty dead(Thursday evening). I immediately began to question if I made the wrong choice but he say we give it a try. We were sat by a nice old man and lady. FOOD: –Yellow Curry w/Chicken:(3)if you’re viet, you know this taste similar to yo mamas –Pork Larb(3): it was best of 3 dishes we got! –Pad Thai w/chicken(2): it was not the best and I looooove me so pad Thai so this was pretty disappointing. Also I noticed that it wasn’t hot; it was hot in the middle kinda like when you microwaved food and it gets hit in the middle before it distributes heat… :/ Overall it was alright; but I wouldn’t come again.

Decided to come here after my favorite Thai place wasn’t answering their phone. I placed a to-go order of Chicken Pad see ew and was told my order would be ready in 10. Came in 15 minutes later and my order was good to go! The portion size did not disappoint, and the price was not too bad! However, the noodles could’ve used a little more flavor. I did like that they were hot, temperature wise, and tasted like they hadn’t been sitting out for a long time. I might come again to try another plate.

It was okay, I’ve perfected my Thai cuisine and went almost about every Thai places in LA to OC I am obsessed the service a woman so sweet is the only reason why I give four stars flavor was there too, I eat a lot so I ordered four entrees. Hehe And I told the guy please give me extra soup and he says it already comes a lot I get the soup and it has NONE So the sweet lady named Ana? Or something gave me a bit more and keeps asking if I need anything else She’s just so sweet but other than that I wasn’t really pleased with other servers

Been here two times for To-go, and absolutely love it! I ordered the same things twice, love their green curry! And the server was really nice, I’ve always have a thing for mango sticky rice but I only want them with fresh mango not can mango, so I asked the guy there whether it’s can mango or nah, he said its fresh mango but he wouldn’t recommend it because it’s pretty sour XD I was like ohh okay what a nice guy

The food here is actually better than the Thai restaurants of LA Thaitown. Must try the crispy catfish salad. The flavors are very authentic. Though the customer service was a little lacking, maybe my waitress had a bad day.

Had the pad sie eww (Beef and Broccoli w noodles) It was okay… felt like there could have been more broccoli, but tasted okay. Went with a group of 10 of my classmates for lunch while we were taking an ekg refresher course across the street. So I got to try some other stuff also: Crab fried rice — was decent… pretty big plate on this one — think this would be a good one to split. Spicy spaghetti — this was pretty jammin’ — this was a winner– would prolly order this instead for myself next time. Place was clean, fairly empty for lunchtime on a Monday… we originally were gonna hit up Omelette house around the corner but that had a 45 min wait… so this wasn’t a bad backup plan.

Came here for the first time on Christmas Eve day for lunch. Surprisingly enough there were several people here which I’m hoping is a good indication that the food is good? The only thing that was a letdown was the fact that they do not have fountain drinks and the sodas come in a can. But I guess I’m here to eat food not drink diet soda? My desk just came to the table so let’s see how good it is! I will be back Just took my first bite OMG very delicious. I will DEFINITELY be back. I ordered my food hot instead of very hot and I wish I would have ordered very hot. So if you like really spicy go for the max on the heat scale.

Omg! Tried this place for the first time, recommended by a co worker. I actually don’t work in the area a anymore, but worked around here over three years, but never discovered this gem till now. Where the heck was I? Tried the Chicken Pad Thai and Garlic pepper Chicken and they were both YUMMY! Closest to the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had at Archi’s in Las Vegas. So technically, they are #1 in California. Yes, 110% better than Thai Town in Hollywood. The price was crazy inexpensive too. The Service was good, but not great, but I’m good with good. Especially with an amazing taste and price. The table we sat at must have just been wiped down, but it was really wet. My friend was the one who sat on it, not me, so since I am typing the review, no point subtraction. Tips: Parking was ludicrous, but maybe because we went during lunch time. Their #5 was pretty spicy, so caution with your orders. I am assuming #5 is max, some places goes all the way to #10 spicy. So that’s what I get for assuming. Price: Humongous 5⁄5 Quality: 5⁄5 Quantity: 4⁄5 Cleanliness: 3⁄5 Customer Service: 3⁄5

Thai food. Its one of my favorites. I’ve been to this restaurant many many times and each time has been a good experience. The service is consistently friendly and the food is consistently good. Its great for groups and all the dishes I’ve tried have been to my liking. It comes out pretty fast, very fresh, and very tasty. Definitely good value for my money. Most ordered item here for me is the tom yum soup and the pad see ew with tofu. Definitely recommend coming here for people craving some thai food.

This is the go-to Thai place for my family and me. I usually get their pad see ew, tom yum soup, fried fish with a sweet mango fish sauce. If you’re not great at handling spiciness, you better ask for everything in mild cause they don’t mess with their spiciness. Make sure you try the mango and sticky rice if it’s in season! I also like their coconut ice cream(:

I’ve pretty much been coming here since they opened and haven’t gotten around to writing a review. That’s my bad. I would say that 5/5, this place has amazing food for a great price. It’s good to come as a group so you can order family style and share. Here’s what I usually get: 1. Tom yum noodle soup: similar to a spicy bun rieu. It’s vermicelli noodles in a spicy soup with seafood. This is my go to for those cold winter nights. 2. Chow mein: sounds strange to get chow mein at a Thai place right? I actually really enjoy the flavor. Nice touch of garlic. 3. Bbq beef salad: get this instead of the crying tiger. The beef is cooked perfectly; never overdone or tough. The salad dressing is a rangy, spicy, sour sauce that makes the dish superb. If you can, try and make it for their Monday through Friday lunch special that goes from 11:00 — 3:30. The entrees are $ 5.95 and come with soup, salad, rice, and crispy wontons. Absolutely worth it! Service comes and goes. Some days they’re very attentive, other days you might have to try harder to get their attention.

9÷23÷15 lunch Coconut juice: whole coconut, the meat in the one k bad was a little hard, couldn’t really get to the meat itself so I was a little sAd. BBQ beef salad: I’ve ordered this item multiple times on different occasions. It’s always a hit or miss, never a consecutive hit though. It’s on the sweeter end. Kind of disappointing. Got it extra spicy, was not spicy at all. Even more of a disappointment. Pad see ew: this one has scrambled eggs on top of the noodles instead of actually scrambled with the noodles And the noodles were broken. Papaya salad: good amount, gives you option of crab or shrimp. Asked for extra spicy and she tried asking are we sure? And we should do mild, we had to be aggressive that we wanted spicy… not spicy at all. And it didn’t really hit the spot. Because of the inconsistency with my visits I will be back, besides being down the street from my house, my fingers are crossed for the good days

While in Orange County today I was in the mood for Thai food. After a quick Unilocal search for a good Thai restaurant in the area I relied on Unilocaler Kent D.‘s tips(stating his preferred Thai restaurant in OC) and review of Jumpa as his reviews are always spot on and reliable. Thanks Kent D. Jumpa Thai did not disappoint! Walking in the restaurant was much larger than I had imagined and it was more than half full with patrons even hours after the main lunch rush. Although they have about a dozen or more lunch specials which come with rice, soup and salad for $ 5.95 and $ 6.95 I ordered off the regular menu. My late lunch order was simple: 4.5 stars Pad see ew with chicken(not available as a lunch special, regular menu item), I was happy with their rendition and thought it tasted great. The Chinese broccoli had a slight more bitterness than I am used to but all in all it was a great version and I would not hesitate to order it again. Kent D.‘s review tips also recommended the lime freeze drink which is a lime smoothie/frozen drink, I did not try it this time but I am intrigued and will have to come back again to try it. Service here was attentive, I received everything I ordered in a timely manner, but there was no real warmth or happiness that I could sense, nor a reply of goodbye or acknowledgement when I thanked the waiter and waitress as I was leaving. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they just did not hear me.

I just got back from Phuket and I am still crazy about Thai food. Jumpa Thai is far from our house but it sure beats the 17 hours flight to get to Thailand. Today we had larb, Lad na with seafood and Tom ka kai. Tom ka kai was very tasty but a little too rich, in Thailand, they used the fresh coconut so it tasted lighter. Next time I will stick to Tom yum, the yummy clear soup with shrimp, galanga and lime. the larb was good, we asked for mild and it came out not spicy at all. We added the samba oelek but it was not the same. The lad na was delicious, it had the flambé taste, I missed the egg then reread the menu, egg was extra, it cost $ 1 more, all restaurants I had been to, egg was part of the dish. We had the beef satay the last time, it was amazing, the sauces that came with it were phenomenal. The beef meatball soup was authentic. Be careful, medium in this restaurant is like in Thailand, you need to call the fire department! we had to specify, not spicy or very mild and I have been eating hot food all my life, it just was too hot, it could burn your stomach, needless to say I did not finish anything the 1st time we came here. Unless you had very good teeth, stay away from the grilled beef, it was tougher than my shoe leather. We left it all behind. The restaurant was nicely decorated, there were 2 nice Thai girl statues at the entrance, we had a nice booth, the service was good, the servers were all very polite like in almost all Thai restaurants we had been to. Save some room for the coconut icecream, freshly made with real coconut and served in its original coconut, it was heavenly delicious, I could eat 2 of these! we will be baaaaaccckkk!
