The food itself was okay until i saw a roach in my soup. It looks like im not alone with bugs in the food. There are more customers posting insects like flies and nest in their food from this establishment on Unilocal.I dont care how good the food is if the food is unsanitary and filthy they deserve 0 star.

Such horrible service. I would never come back here. These people are disrespectful. I come here with my family and they don’t even look at you when they take your order. The sever brought us the drinks and kept slamming them on the table. Didn’t even give us straws. Very unsatisfied with the service. We got the number 11(yellow seafood noodle) and it was incredibly salty.

Service is here QUICK! I enjoy their broth, a lot. It’s not too salty and it’s not too sweet. They don’t provide you with limes or lemons, so you’d have to ask for it. Staff is not very attentive. As in they just ask for your order all at once, then everything comes out. Vegetables, food and drinks. Whatever you’re missing, just wave a hand and they’re there. Place a bit on the smaller side, so it’s a little crampy. Other then that, I come only for the food. They’re usually always busy, but I came in on a Tuesday evening around 6 and got seated right away. I will be coming back.

I came here today for lunch to celebrate my coworker’s birthday. We came with a party of 10 at around 1pm. There was no wait since we were the only customers there. However even though they weren’t busy, they still managed to get our orders wrong. I ordered mi xa xiu(egg noodle) with wonton with soup. Our order came in 10 minutes. My noodles were good but their soup base is definitely a lot more oily than other places. That’s fine with me though. They give you lots of meat(xa xiu) and small bits of pork rinds. Also, this location is a lot better than the original down the street. There’s more parking here and there’s more seating. However, I still like the soup at the original better. It’s more flavorful to me. I’ll probably go back to the original for take outs and eat here if I want a sit down place.

I went here to order togo since my friends have been telling me abt this place. The place is dirty, it reminds me of old restaurants in Vietnam. And the service is bad. The girl at the cashier looks like she has some problems with her face muscle, I guess. Because she had such a hard time smiling to the customers.

Place is small and dirty, but they have great Wonton Noodle soup. Parking lot is a pain in the ass, hardly any parking. This will hit the spot when your craving Chinese noodle soup instead of Phở. The service is horrible and they charge for tap water. Not a good place to bring out of towners because it’s so dirty. Did I mention the parking lot is dirty too !

Good food but dang, the service is worse than what I had in Vietnam. When I came in, the middle-age man sounded like he was chasing me away«eh there’s no seat yet, get out, sit over there.» When another younger took my order, there was no eye contact at all, he was talking to a car passing by on the street or something. Well, then he forgot my water, so I reminded the middle age man again, he literally threw it and the straw on my table. Honestly guys, I have never seen worse than this. Maybe order to go all the time.

Small shop but the noodle soups is delicious, much tastier than all my previous fav places. Portion is large, prices comparable, service is quick, no waiting for table at lunch time. This place serves probably the most authentic noodle soup as it was in Vietnam. However, they add the traditional fried pork fat, tasty but unhealthy. You can ask them to hold the pork fat. There is no waiting for table at lunch time like at Trieu Chau. So this is now my favorite noodle soups place.

This place is so dirty and tight. When I walked in I noticed pretty much everyone eating the number 10 so I decided to order it. It’s the house special dry noodle. Waited about 10 minutes(which is surprisingly long for a Vietnamese restaurant but I won’t complain) and my noodles arrived. I like leek so I was pleased my bowl came with a good amount. It also came with shrimp and squid which was good. My only problem with this dish is the deep fried pork lard. I know a lot of people probably like this(including my mom) but to me it felt like a burst of oil. It was kind of sickening. Overall, average experience. My parents seem to really like it.

Eat It OR Beat It? **EATIT!!** This noodle spot is my second favorite after Trieu Chau in Santa Ana/Bolsa. It’s very similar in that it’s chinese/vietnamese/cambodian style noodles. I get my soup on the side and those crispy pork rinds on top of the noodles… so good! Great option outside of Phở and it’s a shame the location is somewhat hidden and parking isn’t the greatest. Overall though, food is ! So I say, EATIT!

Food: This place has been overrated. Its noodle is good enough. The only special thing is the duck noodle soup, which helps you relieve the salty taste of the noodle sauce. Otherwise, the meat/intestine/fish balls are okay Services: The staffs were helpful and nice. They managed to be quick as much as they can !! Location: OMG! Parking sucks ! 20 parking spaces for more than 5 stores? You must be kidding me !!

The noodle is good but the service is horrible. The elder gentleman waiter came to take our order and when I open the menu to tell him what we going to order he walk away to another table because he thought I havent look at the menu yet. It was so rude. We already know what we want and he didnt even wait 30 sec before he turn and walk away. It wasnt even crowded at that time. This is why most asian restaurants dont do well. They all focus on making the foods good but fail to uphold their good service. It should be more than just a plate of food on the table. We invested our time and money to come to this restaurant instead of the others. This should mean something. Not sure if we will come back to this one.

#10 — Mi Dac Biet Kho Hoac Nuoc(House Special Yellow Noodle — DRY) $ 7.49 — 3.5 Stars #9 — Mi Hoanh Thanh Dac Biet(House Wonton Yellow Noodle) $ 7.99 — 3 Stars What can I say… the ONLY reason I love #10 is really cuz of those little bits of CRUNCHYPORKFAT! I could eat those like chips if there were a bag on the table. The noodles were on par and they give a lot of meats(pork, shrimp, squid, and fish ball). The only thing I would complain about is their broth, it was so bland. I added chilis and a bit of all the sauces on the table and it helped a bit. If they threw in a ton of those CRUNCHYPORKFAT, it might have masked how bland the broth was. That is the only disappointment to this dish. Please give us more crunchy pork fat!!! If you’re coming for Wonton, I recommend getting #9 as you will get your money’s worth. The broth is the same as #10 so you can’t really avoid that. The wontons do make up for the lack of flavors. It was just so comforting to eat a bowl of wontons and then SOME. Kinda like you’re getting a little extra. Just added chili sauce and it’ll be fine. Location — The plaza is tiny so prepare to wait for a parking. There’s like invisible lanes or something cuz people CANNOT park for the life of them. Just do whatever the others are doing to avoid a dent/scratch. Dining Area — Tiny as well with these cheap medal tables that move every time someone bumps it. Not the cleanest either but pick a seat that faces the front door so you don’t see all the kitchen action that they bring to the dining area. That means they prep their foods right where you dine. Trust me, face the front door. Service — DO not expect stellar service cuz it won’t happen. There is a tall younger guy that seems to be a bit more Americanize and he’s friendly. The few times I’ve gone in, he’s there. I try to make eye contact with him so he knows I need service. It works each time, it might be that I look desperate so he comes to me. Verdict — Come knowing it’s totally comfort food and if you imagine you’re dining in Vietnam, you might enjoy the visit. I would come back just cuz I can’t find many places that have those yummy CRUNCHYPORKFAT. Now if they stop making those, I will stop coming as well.

The flavor and authenticity of the dishes here shine. Definitely tastes like home cookin’ & is worth every bite. Be forewarned — the restaurant isn’t anything too fancy. I have been here a few times with my sister and her boyfriend & I must say I am impressed! Both times I ordered the hu tieu won ton dac biet! You can get this either as a soup or as dry noodles, I honestly have never tried the latter BUT the soup is delicious and filling! They aren’t stingy with giving you all the fillings! When you get your bowl of deliciousness it may look small, but trust it’s deceiving! There’s a lot in there. Especially when you say that you want everything in it it! ALSO! If they have Chinese donuts! Get one or two. Hehe. These add a little something extra when you throw them into your soup or even if you just dip them and gradually munch on. I am well-aware that Chinese Donuts aren’t the sweetest of the sweet like your average donut shop donut, but I think my love for starchy foods and fried doughs always allows me to enjoy the donut by itself as well. Mmmm. But if my must be honest… my sister or her boyfriend usually places my order for me because I’m not fluent in Vietnamese. But don’t fret! You don’t need anyone to translate, the staff at My Vi Mi Gia do speak English as well! Parking can be a bit of a mission because the lot can get quite chaotic. My sister and I usually park in the nearby neighborhood, which is only a short walk away. :)

I ordered the duck noodle and the house noodle togo this time. I ordered and paid and said thank you to the girl. she gave me my order and again I said thank you… but still she never said ‘thank you’ to me. Food is ok. My husband wanted it otherwise I would not ordered food from here. In my house noodle, I found a large piece of plastic in it… not acceptable!!! Will not be back!

I hate to give this place such a low rating but I can’t help it. I didn’t like the food whatsoever and ended up taking it togo and giving it to my dog. Waste of money! I ordered a bowl of the mi hoanh thanh vit tim. Sadly it only came in the large size so I was stuck with a large bowl of disappointment. There was some taste that I didn’t like in the soup. It was like a licorice tasting spice or something, I couldn’t pin point it. The duck itself wasn’t bad but when drenched in the soup it got all soggy and gross. I may go back 1 day to try their other bowls if I’m feeling brave. But I think I’ll stick to my trusty Mi Trieu Chau down the street.

I ordered the dry noodle and rice noodle soup there are some shrimp and pork liver in it, taste was ok. Just because of not many places in the area doesn’t offer pork soup than make this place become the only one that we can go to. I think they need to renovate or upgrade the place to look more modern. If not they can just organize it little bit more so customer can feel little clean, bathroom? Forget about it I feel I almost vomit all of the food when I see it. I walk out right away. I would return if my other favorite spot not that long wait. Phnom Penh Noodle in Long Beach

Inexpensive yummy noodle soup. Almost small enough to be considered a hole-in-the– wall. Fresh noodles offering good value for a hearty meal. The duck noodles and hu tieu are my choices. Love the pork grinds that they add with your noodle soup order. Crunchy, greasy bits that goes well with the clear broth. I find myself looking around to see how dirty the place is and can’t help but still enjoy my meal. What you need to know: — Not a place you take a girl out on a first date — Parking is scarce — Shares the small plaza with my favorite 7 Leaves(Grab some after your meal) — Takeout is a good option — Bring wet wipes

Whenever I’m in Westminster, I am always sure to get some Mi Kho — dried egg noodles with various toppings at My Vi Mi Gia. Best egg noodles I have ever had! I’m from the Bay Area and whenever I’m down in Southern California, this place is my first stop on my food tour. Now that I’ve moved down to SoCal, I could get these noodles whenever I want! I’ve been eating here for around a decade and it has been consistently good. I love ramen but I must say that these egg noodles are better than any ramen that I have ever had. So flippin amazing. To make things even better, this place is in the same plaza as 7 Leaves(remember to get that sea cream iced coffee) and the Vietnamese sticky rice and dessert place. SOGOOD. Parking is a pain though. Service is not friendly. This is a typical Asian hole-in-the-wall place, so what do you expect, right? Restaurant is very cramped and is always full. Do not go here for ambiance. Come here for excellent food from a hole-in-the-wall gem.
