Rude. Very rude. I can buy some of these things online easily for less money, but I prefer to use my dollars in small stores to help them survive, especially ones like this. The woman who owns this has zero customer service. None of the fabric is out in the open,(it is in every x-stitch store I’ve ever been in) which makes you play«Do you have this color» until you finally get the one you are looking for. Most stores also serge raw ends of cuts of fabric. But not this one. One of her customers, a shop owner herself in another town, finally helped me find what I was looking for, and knew the easy way to find it. If I had a small business like this, I might have some welcoming signs on the door since it’s in a more warehouse-like space. I would also make sure both Apple and Google maps let people find my store. They don’t right now; you must be highly motivated to keep trying. Take the drive to the one in Long Beach, Mari Pats. They understand customer service, or shop online at Needle in a haystack in alameda ca.
