This supermarket surely makes decent amount of profit to do a remodel but i dont know why they havent after many years. I go here when really in a rush to get groceries, the stuff is kind of expensive in comparisson to saigon and a dong. Floors sticky and groceries are somewhat fresh. Parking is big though. Needs a remodel please!

One of the worse markets I’ve been too. Absolutely no customer service and rude workers.

The parking is tight so I always expect a door ding or fender bender. Whoever designed this parking lot did not think about how people drive or park. I would definitely go to a different market that’s newer so that products would be fresher, especially produce, meat, and seafood. But I guess if you need something at an Asian market, this will do. Just your average Vietnamese store that has smelly fishiness punching you in the face from every corner of the store.

My sister goes here… A LOT. So she told me about this store and how I might want to hold my nose when I walk in. Well, she was right… it was a little smelly. It was smelly in the way the beach is smelly, they have fresh fish in open refrigerators. The smell isn’t too overpowering. I was fine with it, she is just more sensitive. It was fun to browse all the different products they had. They have a good selection of products if you are not Vietnamese and are willing to explore. I was in the mood for ramen, and I figured they would have a brand I wasn’t familiar with and might have better flavors. I’m sure I’ll be back, they had other foods I was interested in.

Very small«super“market, with high prices. Pretty dirty like most Asian markets, but I feel especially dirty here over others for some reason. Nothing really special here, but I’d go to other markets before here for the cheaper prices. Nguoi Viet will only get my business if I’m in a rush and coming out from work without a chance to stop by elsewhere.

This is my least favorite supermarket to visit. The only time I’ll ever go here is if I’m forced to(running errands for my mother). It’s probably the smelliest and dirtiest supermarket that I’ve ever been to. Aside from the grimy floors and mix stench of fish and rotting fruits, the employees are rude as heck.

this supermarket REALLY needs a remodel. The place inside is pretty smelly, the fruits were not fresh, floors were dirty also. There were flies around there and I just felt like EWW the whole entire short time I was there. Don’t get me wrong, I go to LOTS of Vietnamese supermarkets but this is one of the worse ones. Should have went down the street for the one on Brookhurst and Westminster. That is a lot newer and bigger.

Was ok. Nothing unique or special about this place. Not worth going on. You might as well go to the other Vietnamese grocery stores since they are better.

This place is one of my least favorite Viet markets. I guess it’s because every time I walk into the store I can smell meats and seafood at a profound level. It’s bearable when you’re in the store for more than 30 minutes and after a while you get used to the smell. It’s unfortunate I have to experience the stench every time I come here SOMETIMES the smell is not as profound as other times but it’s hit and miss. NOTE: There’s a 10 dollar minimum if you’re using a credit/debit card. Although, everyone already knows this about ethnic grocery stores, lol. As Anita L. mentioned it’s nothing spectacular, there’s pretty much the same groceries you would find at other Vietnamese stores. The store isn’t dirty but it isn’t spotless either, some of the prices are hit and miss you will find affordable meats on some days and sometimes expensive meats on other days. The crowd here is not busy at all, compared to Saigon City or Hoa Binh Supermarket but then again I rarely venture to do my Grocery shopping on the weekend since it’s always the busiest! Some of the frozen food items look like they have massive freezer burn, especially the seafood section; the fresh seafood looks clean. There is affordable dry noodles but the market is nothing out of the ordinary.

This market will suffice in a pinch, but in terms of uniqueness, don’t expect to find it here. It is no different than the myriad of markets dotted in and around Garden Grove and Westminster catering to their Vietnamese clientele. It is slightly cleaner than say Saigon City, but just a little cleaner. It reminded me of that dismal Green Farmers Market off Magnolia but without the stench and obvious filth. If you’re in the area and needed something, it’s fine. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. They don’t have anything other similar grocery stores don’t carry.
