A lot better than my previous review. This time it didn’t taste sour or salty. Just pure sugar cane!

Similar to a small Asian convenient store. Sell a variety of junk food, Asian snacks, drinks such as juice, smoothies and boba. However, they are known for their great sugar cane juice that is delicious and it’s ridiculously cheap! They only have two size cup, medium and large, both size cost $ 3.50. They also sell half a gallon!

The BEST, MOSTAFFORDABLE Ngoc Mia in Southern California! This place has been around forever and they make seriously delicious, well priced sugar cane juice. They press their sugar cane juice to order and include kumquats to give a tart tang to the juice. Everyone I have brought here are total converts and become obsessed with this place.

I’d give 5 stars just for the sugarcane juice. But service sucks. After ordered, my little 3 year old boy need to use the restroom. So I asked the old cashier man if my boy could use the restroom. all i got was a head shake without saying anything else and on with his business taking orders.

Nuoc Mia is Vietnamese for the sugarcane drink and that is what they specialize in here! Concentrated sugarcane drinks can be very sweet so every sugarcane maker knows that an additional squeeze of citrus will really enhance the flavors and give it a nice balance. Basic sugarcane vendors squeeze in orange, but the fancy places know that kumquat is the way to go! The Nuoc Mia they sell here is fairly sweet and with just the right amount of kumquat in it. You can ask for extra kumquat if you want your drink to taste less sweetened. Nuoc Mia Prices: — Medium with ice $ 3 — Medium without ice $ 5 — Large with ice $ 4 — Large without ice $ 7 — Half gallon $ 13 They have their cups labelled so you see exactly what you’re paying for if you are asking for a drink with or without ice. I like it when a business is honest and up front like that. The people working here are also very quick and friendly. They also sell other beverages here like iced lemon with honey or the pennysworth drink or other fruit drinks, slushes and smoothies. The storefront itself is filled with a lot of candy and snack items. That’s a great use of their storefront but my main purpose for coming here is usually just the sugarcane drinks.

Large sugar cane drink is HUGE. You can opt to have one without ice for a dollar extra!

It’s a hole in the wall, but for a hole in the wall it’s pretty good. Fresh sugarcane juice and I get mine with extra kumquat for that extra acidity that cuts thru all that sweetness. The service is friendly and it seems like they sell everything. They also have fresh passion fruit juice which is hard to find in other areas. This plaza is busy with many places to eat so check it out.

I haven’t had to much sugarcane juice but its hard to imagine it getting much better than here. They make it right in front of you to order. You can order it over ice, without ice for more, or in a jug for the week. They also have jackfruit smoothies which is a real treat, hard to find. Tastes like pineapple and cotton candy. Plenty of other offerings including pickled mango that I just haven’t tried before, a treat for any Vietnamese person, or foodie.

U can get a ½ gallon of «nuoc Mía» for $ 13. Great deal! They also have very delicious taro smoothie that is made from real taro root, no powder stuff. Smoothies should only be made from real fruits.

This place is clean(everyone wears gloves), the service is friendly, and my order comes quickly. All smoothies are made from fruits, not powder. And yes, I can confirm that this place grows their own sugarcane. My mom is friends with the owner and has visited the owner’s sugarcane farm before. This is the original sugarcane source because the owner of this shop distributes her sugarcane to all of the other shops in California! So if you’re saying other places are better… Well, they got it from here. Don’t feel mad about the large amount of ice in the cup. They’re not tricking you. There is intentionally a lot of ice to dilute the drink or else you’d just be drinking overly sweet syrupy juice. If you’ve never had sugarcane juice before, you should have your first experience here. If you have had sugarcane juice before, this place will probably be better. Stop by on a hot day!

First things first, this place is CASHONLY … Even if there are no signs indicating so anywhere. Second, they favored everyone that spoke the language so my family and I were ignored for a good five minutes at the counter while those so did speak the language were favored and helped immediately.

Lol apparently they grow their own sugarcane. That’s a lot of sugarcane… don’t know whether to believe that fact but anyways about their sugar cane juice!!! Their nuoc mia(sugar cane juice) here is good, personally I like a lot on kumquat so I ask for more, but overall it’s always a really good ratio. They do add a lot of ice, but that’s normal since sugar cane can be a bit overwhelming. Pricing is pretty average, you can get cheaper ones elsewhere but they usually aren’t as good and seem really watery. Pro-tip: get a large to share if you have a few people since it’s huge. I like how they have lots of Vietnamese imported goodies to devour as well, some of the stuff if pretty hard to find in the OC so check out their assortment!

Delicious sugar cane drink is their specialty here! $ 3 mediums $ 5 larges They do put quite a bit of ice in it, so try not to drink it all at once. Let it melt a bit and youll still have that refreshing sugar cane taste for a bit longer. They also sell dried food, snacks, other bottled drinks, and other knick knacks. During the Lunar New Year weeks, they sell plants and flowers that take up the entire sidewalk. Good luck with parking! I would advise bringing a driver and getting dropped off to get your nuoc mia(sugar cane juice), and they can just chill on the side.

This my favorite spot for sugarcane juice, it’s %100 fresh. I always order it with no lemon added, and ease on ice. Only cash. They DONOT accept credit, dept cards.

Musical sounds drifted outside and greeted us as we walked in. We look around the corner of the refrigeration unit and see a tiny Vietnamese lady dressed in cute floral garb belting her heart out into a karaōke machine. Well, that’s a first for us. We found it amusing and charming. We came in to order the deliciously fresh pressed sugarcane juice flavored with kumquat. We received it promptly and in a friendly manner and were serenaded out the door.

Sugarcane Juice(aka nuoc mia) at it’s Best! This place sells an assortment of nick nack food and snacks but more importantly freshly pressed sugarcane juice w a pinch of kumquat. Mouth watering! On a hot or cold day, this fresh concoction will take away all thirst. As a thirst quencher advocate, this drink will relieve your worst cotton tongued, tongue stuck-to-roof-of-mouth, and hard core lip smacking! THis drink hits the spot on many level. They squeeze sugarcane to order and include S, M, and L sizes. If you like, you can even request for No ICE, but they will charge extra. The Large is $ 4, I believe w no ice they charge $ 7 or $ 8. You can also request more kumquat or less. Personally for me, the more the better! Even though well known for their Ngoc mia, they all sell other items like candy, pastries, snacks, and these pickled fruit. Slightly spicey, slightly, sweet/sour, and crunchy. Almost forgot to mention, the reason for the kumquat, which is a citrus, is to cut the sweetness of the sugarcane,. Believe it or not, drinking straight sugarcane is actually gross because of the sweetness. The kumquat cuts the sweetness perfectly. LOVEIT!

I thought I already wrote a review for this place. I swear my reviews are getting deleted or something. Anyways… great place to get familiar with your fat diabetic self. This place has one of the better tasting sugar cane juices in town. Yummers. Talk about diabetes in a cup. The cup sizes are enormous for a decent price to so you kinda feel obligated to purchase the biggest size possible since its so cheap(damnit thats how they getcha). You can immediately tell that the taste is fresh and they seem to have a hint of something extra(probably crack to have you coming back for more since I always have that craving for it). The friendliest workers you will ever see and they seemed family owned though Im not quite sure. Nonetheless they were very very helpful answering various questions I had concerning some of the items inside the store. I will be back, if the diabetes hasn’t taken my legs yet lol. PS…Exercise often

A search for less kumquatty, less sweet sugarcane juice than Nuoc Mia Vien Tay led me here the first time. I like this place’s nuoc mia much better. Not too sweet and no more of that excessive kumquat flavor. The $ 3 medium is quite a lot, especially as the ice starts to melt. It’s refreshing to drink something sweetened naturally with pure sugarcane’s sugar. Oh, and grab a cassava cake while you’re there.

NUOCMIA [SUGARCANEJUICE] It’s all I get here. I have some other favorite places for nuoc mia, but this is one of the easier ones to get to [it’s right next to Boiling Crab] because I’m in this area a lot. The flavoring of the nuoc mia is very good. I think they do add the kumquat to it, so it’s not too too sweet.
