Came here with the fam and we decided to try the following: 1. Bun Bo Xa 2. Bun Ca w/sua 3. Bun Bo Hue 4. Mi Quang w/sua 5. Banh Trang Dap with Bo Xa Overall I really like this place. Yes there are a lot of other places that serve mieng trung(middle Vietnam) food but this place stands out because it taste home made and not msg or oil added which is great for a health conscious person like me. Their drinks are really great too! I am definitely coming back.

I ordered the bun bo hue here today for breakfast. I got one of the specials. Noodles and a drink for $ 6 total. Includes tax as well Great deal. The bun was good. Mild and flavorful. I’ll be back. Vietnamese coffee was superb too. What a deal for $ 6! It’s not as packed anymore though but still worth the visit to try. Great service as well. Only downfall is that the floors are a bit worn and dirty.

Love their bun bo and bun rieu a lot. The best flavor I have ever had in America. They also have yogurt with shave ice that is great too. About their restaurant, even it is small but it’s clean and fresh. Their restroom is so pretty and clean too. If you want to rate for the restaurant please look at their restroom first, you will know how fresh at the food too/

Food, place and service — they deserve more stars then they have received on average. Since there are many central regional Vietnamese Hue food already in and around town, competition is tough to win customers. So each restaurant have to have something special to attract. Here for me is the Jelly Fish salad. I would come back here to lunch on this dish solely for taste and a low calorie treat.

ONEOFTHEBESTINTOWN! I just had another delicious bowl of phở ga! With its homemade noodles and succulent chicken in a rich savory broth, it’s one of the best in town! I’m not sure why Johnny N. would write such a mean spirited review. Which apparently is based only on his unfounded paranoid suspicions… while admitting that to him, quality and experience is moot!?? I say, that with the high quality of the food at this restaurant, it’s ridiculous to believe they would recycle a few bean sprouts and mint leaves! I’ve been there a few times and as you look around at all the tables, the food and veggies look beautiful, fresh and delicious! I eat at lots of Vietnamese restaurants and from my experiences this one is special, one of the best!

—- DONOTEATHERE —- They recycle their unused-but-already-served veggies! I stake my Unilocal reputation on that statement. Today, we came here for lunch. After we ordered, but before we got our food, we were idly chatting, barely noticing a table being bussed. But what got our attention was that one of the female employees(who’s likely related to the owner, based on info from the grapevine) grabbed plates of veggies from the busser just before he was going to dump them into the bin and bring them into the back. ??? We call her over to ask her about it, but she claimed that they separate out their food waste from the rest of the garbage, that’s what we saw.(Hmm, interesting, since a) she didn’t grab the other food items and b) the City of Westminster doesn’t have a food/yard waste program.) We give her the benefit doubt and just finished our meal(quality and experience is moot). I personally didn’t touch my plate of bean sprouts and herbs, but others in my party ate theirs. Fast forward after we’re done, paid, and leaving the store. I run back inside because I forgot my drink… and come up behind the same female server clearly grabbing our plates of veggies and walking to the back with them! !!! She didn’t see me while walking away, but the owner saw me from the cash register and waved, and only then did she make eye contact with me with the look of being caught red handed. Interpret it as you will. I interpret it as a cheap place that puts saving money over the health and safety of their customers.

The only reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars is because of the servers. They were polite and attentive but seeing as how this restaurant is so small, I can see why they had to be. Other than that, this place was nothing special. You could definitely find restaurants with more reasonable prices. I came here with my family and we ordered phở but the quality could’ve been better. My sister and I also ordered coconut juice but they basically gave us a coconut with the top cut off… How in the world were we suppose to eat the actual coconut? Not even worth the $ 3-$ 4. As soon as my family and I left, we agreed to not come back.

The phở filet mignon is the best I’ve had for a long time. Also try the special drink Tra Tram Anh.

I decided to try this place with my family after it just opened. We ordered phở ga, phở bac and bun Bo hue. All three were excellent choices. The broth was tasty and fresh without heavy amounts of salt or fats. The meat was fresh and tender. I had the phở ga and I loved that the chicken came separate on a plate covered in scallions. Great service and clean restaurant. Would recommend!
