The tacos are so good, omg the hot salsa is to die for. Couple of things I feel needs a better improvement to get 5 stars is the customer service and the place needs to be remodeled. Last time I went here on my lunch break there was a long line I waited until it was my turn to get up to the counter. As soon as I got to the front the cashier was trying to tell me to wait because he wanted to help a guy who showed up with a big group. I got mad and told him no I waited before they even showed up, and every time he would help other people he glanced at the line and saw that I was in line. He even had a bad attitude I was so mad. But I wasn’t there for him. I wanted my damn tacos. The place used to be something else I feel with the money they make they need to remodel it other than that the food is so amazing.

Great steak and fish tacos! Very authentic. We ordered the tacos with everything on it today. We first ordered two each. Then we had to order two more each as they were delicious. The steak quesadilla was huge. It looked good but I did not have any. We are visiting Disneyland and decided after one park meal that we should find something outside the park for dinner. This was a nice treat and down the street from our stay. Hole in the wall yummy!

So I was in the area and decided to try this place out. All of the tacos I got were tasty and the burrito was delicious as well. The only thing I didn’t care for was the fatty chunks in the asada but other then that, everything was good! I will return!

Today was my first time here and last time! We all ordered our food and waited like 20 minutes. food wasn’t that bad. but when they gave us our pozole to go I opened the Container just to see how it looked, there was a nasty fly in the soup! I could not believe my eyes! I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will never go back! Less than zero stars!!!

Waited in line for a natural juice just so they can tell me they don’t have a juicer. It would be nice if they placed a sign over the juice menu that says«Not Available» but I guess that’s just me.

I don’t like this place one bit at all. If I could give this place no stars I would because I don’t think 75 cents is worth using my debt card. The burrito wasn’t even good and no meat at all.

Perfectly ok and absolutely average. Service is more on the level of «What do you want?» without too much abruptness. Preparation is fast. Prices are low. Meat quality is meh, but they give you a lot of meh so in a place where quantity should trump quality(you don’t come here for quality), the abundance makes up for the chewy effort. Carne asada tacos were good. I had 4 and didn’t feel sick or sad. I’d order these again. Tacos al pastor were kind of on the heavy side in terms of marinade, but not greasy/oily. I wouldn’t order these again but I’m probably just not a fan of this particular taste. Didn’t have anything else. Dining area is relatively clean. Drive thru is available though the entire time I was there, the same car sitting at the window didn’t budge. I’d have been pissed.(8÷5÷15 Just learned it’s not a drive thru. It’s employee parking. Makes sense now.) Have I had better street tacos? Of course I have. Will these tacos get the job done in a pinch? Sure, why not.

Always looking for taco places that make tacos that taste like the tacos in Mexico. Since the reviews were good we tried tijuana taco. I must admit that I was not that thrilled with the food. The people were nice and the place was clean so that was good. I had four tacos. One carnitas which was ok. One asada which was not very good. One AL pastor which was ok and one chicken taco. I actually wasn’t sure which meat was chicken and which was asada. Never a good sign. Still searching for excellent tacos in oc that come close to the great fresh taste of tacos in TJ. This surely was not it despite having Tijuana in its name.

Even though I’ve lived next to Tacos Tijuana all my life(even before they moved a few restaurants down), I never actually took the chance to try it. I guess when I was younger I was sucked into the americanized Mexican food brand(Rubio’s, Del Taco, even Taco Bell). I started really digging true Mexican food a few years ago, and yet still didn’t find the time to walk across the street to give Tijuana a chance. I finally did so today, and I’m glad I did. I knew there was some Wednesday special, and so I ordered 5 tacos(2 asada, 1 tripas, 1 al pastor, and 1 carnitas). Unfortunately, I struggled to hear what the cashier was telling me about the special, but I was only charged $ 5.88 for the entire order(+75c for card), which was actually not bad of a deal compared to most taco establishments(not as good as trucks though). Out of all the tacos, the tripe and carnitas were probably the most flavorful. I didn’t really taste much in the asada, which was a downer. Compared to most taco restaurants and trucks I’ve had around California, Tijuana wasn’t bad given the conveniency. I might come again during their specials or maybe to try other stuff on their menu like their Tortas. I say, give this place a go if you’re craving cheap Mexican food in Garden Grove. Eat well and prosper,

Service is extreme slow, I had to wait an hour for 3 tacos. Not worth the price for the wait. Also there’s a charge for 75 cents if you use a card.

I started with a strawberry shake that was amazing they obviously made it from scratch then had a few tacos and the munudos. It all was amazing! Then to top it off the customer service was amazing as well after serving me my food they made sure i was happy with everything asked if i would like hot sauce or a variety of spices they had. This restaurant doesn’t look like much but it is!

«Edible» and«open late» sum up my experience here. Fish taco($ 1.75) fish was over fried so it was very hard. The rest just your typical fish taco topping, fresh though. Tripitas taco($ 1.95) good flavor but super super greasy. Lengua taco($ 1.95) the most normal one, flavor is ok All tacos’s tortillas were hard and kind dry. somehow I feel their taco is kind small for the price, this place is not better but not worse than Taqueria De Anda. Good if you need late night bite.(opens to 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 10pm the rest of the week). They don’t have anything unsweetened so I have to buy a bottle water. Service was quick and friendly. They play really loud music in here. 75 cents charge using credit/debit card.

I recommend getting diff kinds of tacos. I got 4 chicken and by the time i was on my third one I’ve had enough! They double stack the tortillas so that definitely made me full faster too. Free carrots in the sauce station plus service was good. I would be back!

Ordered 4 different types of tacos and got horchata. The only one I liked was the tripitas as they have more of a BBQ flavor to it compared to other places. Everything else was bland. Horchata was good. Won’t be coming back though.

Got take out from Tacos Tijuana this weekend as we were staying at a hotel near by. The food itself was pretty good. I got a sampler of carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor tacos. A great deal for $ 1.35 a taco. They were on the small side and reminded me of the tacos you get from a food truck. I knocked off one star because they placed all my tacos in one foil causing all the flavors of the three different meats to intermix. I wish they would have individually wrapped each meat taco. Otherwise this place was pretty good.

Taco Wednesday rolls around again. Made it to hump day and all is well. Downhill from here. They close now at some ungodly hour like 1:00 a.m. on weekends. Very cool. It’s like a taco truck that doesn’t move.

Wednesday Taco BOGO Deal: Buy one taco, get one free! Meat choices range from $ 1.35 to $ 1.95. The lengua(beef tongue) is among its more expensive and popular choices, and perhaps its tastiest meat option. There is also a meat choice — pollo al pastor — I have not tried before elsewhere. Shepard style preparation mostly made with pork, this version uses chicken meat and offers the same bold zesty flavors of dried chilies, spices and pineapple. A nice alternative to the common pollo asado meat option, which is grilled and delicately seasoned with salt, garlic and lime juice. The best choices, in my opinion, are their offal meat options — lengua and tripitas. Both offer the most taste and juiciness in its meat. The tripitas are fried to a golden crisp, giving them a nice crunch. The standard asada, carnitas and al pastor were all flavorful if not unmemorable. Perhaps lacking the juiciness and bold flavors often associated with meats prepared at some of the best taquerias in and around neighboring Santa Ana. The chorizo and lengua were the most moist and tasty. The tripitas, again, was crispy and savory. The latter three meat choices are certainly my favorites here. There is a salsa bar and its contents — which includes the traditional array of condiments and garnishes like diced onions and cilantro, salsa roja(red), salsa verde(green), sliced radishes, and pickled jalapenos and carrots — are plentiful and replenished often. The staff is friendly and food comes quickly. A good choice in Anaheim to get some tasty, inexpensive tacos and burritos. Even better still if you come on a Wednesday when most tacos are 2 for 1.(Offer not valid with those priced at $ 1.95: birria del res, tripitas and lengua).

If you like bland asada tacos, then this is the place for you! Boy, I didn’t think anyone could make worse asada meat, but Tacos Tijuana proved me wrong. Their horchata was good, though. There are definitely other and better taco places to eat at. This place doesn’t even come close to chains like King Taco.

Delicious tacos and tastes even better on Wednesdays because it is 50 cents a taco! That is unheard of. Al pastor was bomb. Flavorful with a kick to it. Comparable with some of the best I’ve had. You won’t be disappointed with this meat! Cabeza was just ok. Tasted a little bland and meat was tough. Horchata was gooood! One of the best. It tastes more like cinnamon rather than bubblegum like some places. Service was excellent. I went in 8 minutes before serving and they were already cleaning they kitchen but still served the food to us with a smile :)
