Ray L is right. I should have heeded his review. Being new to the area I did not know better. I am from out of the area and my mother was visiting. My mother wanted to buy some herbs. So I googled for chinese herbs in Little Saigon and got this location. I should have known better when after examining my mother she started throwing herbs together while ringing up other customers. I know most of this stuff is more placebo than medicinal but come on, at least try to make it look like you are following a formula instead of just throwing stuff together. Speaking of expired stuff as mentioned in Ray L’s review. I examined a rubbing balm she sold us for 10 dollars several days after the purchase, it expired in 1999. I am definitely not going back here. I will mark this down as a learning lesson.

This place is a scam.
I was looking for some fire cups and they were charging $ 50 for the same set of cups that I could get for $ 32 in an herbal shop in Bolsa. Not only that but apparently the owner of the store likes to steal medicine from other companies and relabel them as their own with ridiculous mark up prices.
Oh, and seeing all of these old, dusty, expired snacks right next to the desk was a nice touch too :)
