Worst employee that exists works here. I love the bar, kick back environment, I enjoy everyone else except for one person NATALIE. It started out rough to begin with, the bar was slow and it took forever for the one person that we were greeted by to come back to take orders. She was not a happy camper, I don’t care; leave you’re shit at home. You work in an environment that requires customer service which is lacking beyond measures. The first round took a long minute. The second round wasn’t even my drink. The third round didn’t exist. We were then greeted by another woman with blue hair. She was awesome, helpful, made suggestions, picked up, attentive. If the tip didn’t go in a pot I would have given her fair share. When it was time to leave. I returned to our original bartender and asked to close. Turns out she avoided me because she could not find my debit card. She struggled to ask other patrons to see if they had the card. Came back to me with attitude like I did something wrong. Explaining that the card was given to someone else and she suggests placing a hold on my debit card til tmw if the card is returned. There was no form of resolution or accountability. She said«what do you think could be done» I asked for a manager. She said there is none. She was the bar lead. Followed by a blank stare and no response. Then as I told her I will not pay. Or sign a receipt without the return of my card. She manages to pull a name from the sky for a manager. And that I can call him tmw morning. Brilliant. Sweet save. She should probably find another line of work where it does not demand face to face contact with other human beings that work hard for their money just to hand it over to the establishment with zero respect. Btw. My card was used several times before I knew it was already gone. Can’t wait to handle that. Have better judgement on who you hire. She sucks.

Hubby found this place initially because he was getting his car done and needed some place to wait. It was pretty close to where he was, so he was able to walk on over. Now, it is a bar. It can get noisy. Good luck on trying to hear the TVs, because, in the end, the jukebox music is on. But, remember, it’s a bar! That’s the definition of a bar: loud, beer/alcohol, good times. One of the things that makes me come back is the food and service. Food-wise, they have some great flavors on basic foods. Quesadilla, hamburgers, sandwiches… love it. These are the quintessential bar foods that make you enjoy life while you chug down a beer or take in a cocktail. The shredded lettuce on my quesadilla plate has been a bit more brown than green, though I think it’s more for looks than to eat? Mushroom Swiss burger is amazing. I believe it’s one of the best hubby has had, and he’s always so happy(and fat) after eating one of those. Fries are good; not my favorite kind(crinkle cut fries), but they’re still good with ketchup and filling you up! Service has been great. Only times we’ve been there, it was always the gentleman(maybe the owner?). We’ve sat at the bar a few times, and at the high-tables a few times. Even though it looks like he’s the only one running both the bar and being server to the tables(and the runner of all food), the wait isn’t so bad in getting your items. He’s always been polite, knows our orders so, if it’s incorrect, we’ve seen him take back the food before it has even reached us. What I like is that he looks into your eyes so you know he’s paying attention to you, and doesn’t treat us weird if we don’t get much alcohol on a particular visit. Food and service is all I need to want to come back to an establishment. The parking situation is a bit eh(small parking lot), and trying to get here can be a big ass pain because it’s a very busy road and the free way is just a block a way, but it’s a good place for some awesome bar times! Gotta try the pool tables next time.

This place can be quite hidden if you’re not familiar with the area. I came through since its one of the few places still open thats local. They have great service here. They were super nice and don’t give off that douche attitude I get at some bars. Lots and lots of beer selection and the décor is somewhat typical of a sports bar. There are tons of television screens so if its a big game, a fight or a nice sporting event then this is definitely the local place to go to. They have tons of pool tables available. I don’t like going to pool halls in the Asian area simply because it can get super physical and violent there, doesn’t happen too often but better I stay away from that scene, so this is the perfect alternative. Overall its a nice local bar. Whenever I’m in the mood to just kick back at a bar this will be one of the ones I’ll hit. Its nice, friendly and the atmosphere is pretty relaxing. Nothing like a good ol spot to kick back a couple of beers and just unwind. PS the bar food here isn’t half bad either. I’m pleasantly surprised.

This would be ok as a neighborhood bar and grill if the waitress wasn’t the bartender and the cook and the busboy and the cook didn’t grill the plastic wrapper with my girlfriend’s burger. Gross!!! But I will give the waitress kudos because she has done a great job and has kept a great attitude even though the owners can’t run a place like this on a playoff weekend. All in all, the fries, onion rings and the waitress were good. I’ll leave it up to you if you want to try this place.

One of the best beer selections I’ve ever seen. The cheese sticks are bomb too. All the servers there are fantastic. I’ve never been ignored or anything like that. I will definitely be going back regularly. The jukebox has a good selection of music as well.

+ Nice hidden gem of a bar + Awesome service + Pool tables + Lots of TV’s + Food is great! + Nice selection of beer This place is a bit hidden., but not really. Lots of locals come here to enjoy some sports and great tasting food during sports games. There’s not much to say, except this place gets the job done. Whether you’re hungry and just wanting to eat, or you want a spot to hang out with some buds, definitely come to The Glen. Time after time, this place never fails. It’s usually a nice alternative to say… Dave and Buster or Buffalo Wild Wings, if you’re not into the ‘huge’ crowd thing. It does get a bit rowdy here, but it’s all in fun. Highly recommend this spot if you want a ‘cave’ to enjoy.

The server with dark long hair was very nice to us, took our order but the 7pm bartender/server who came in after her, ignored us for 45min and finally decided to ask us if we needed anything at the end not attentive at all . Tip: if you make us close our tab, it doesn’t mean we are done… Half star for her — 11⁄19 /15

Right off the 22 Fwy, exit Harbor going south. Nice clean place, lots of TVs, good variety of beer on tap. Really cool digital jukebox. We came just to play some quick pool. They have two pool tables — $ 1 a game, buy 5 games get 1 free. Full kitchen. We got the nachos with salsa and guac, which was tasty. Would definitely come back here to watch a game or just hang out with friends and play some pool.

Stopped in here for lunch with a few friends. Like most have said, the outside of this bar looks average but the inside is very, very nice in my opinion. There are tons of televisons that can be viewed from all angles, pool tables, and an electronic like juke box. The«bar food» here is amazing. The cheeseburger I ordered was pretty good but it’s all about the crinkle fries. Cooked just right. My friends ordered the chicken strips and the fish and chips. My buddy said the chicken strips were thet«best he ever had» but he just got out of prison lol. We also ordered the nachos which came on a big plate. Plenty of food! Lots of beer on tap, especialy IPA’s. Don’t miss the driveway into this place as there is only one entrance off Garden Grove Blvd! I think there may be an alley way off another street but I am not sure. Take my word on this lol Our bartender was attentive and had a good attitude.

I’ve only been here a handful of times, but the first time I visited I was welcomed by Odra. She was so nice and fun. I love her personality. She recommended many of the different craft beers on tap and she went over in detail the available premium liquors. Nice ambience. Pool tables. Juke box. Good food and lots of tvs. The hunnies are pretty cute, too. Thanks Odra for making my experiences good ones. I’ll be back.

It’s right down the street from me, always wanted to try it because it has such good reviews on Unilocal.Seemed like a nice enough place, clean and well kept, noise level is comfortable, and the food looks great. But I wasn’t there for more than 15 seconds before I was asked to leave because, apparently, they don’t allow white shirts in the bar. I know this is sometimes a rule at some bars, but it needs to stop, and bar owners need to realize that, it doesn’t matter what arbitrary rule they come up with to deal with the issue of the gangster wannabe thug types, the rule they enforce will always be 10 years behind the fashion trends of losers like that. Welp, you missed my business, and I probably won’t go back. Your loss, Glen. Bummer.

So I was here about 2 weeks ago, my second time being here overall. It used to be a different name and they renovated it over two years ago. To my surprise, the food is good here. I have not tried everything but what I ordered from burger, onion rings, fries, Hawaiian teriyaki chicken Sandwhich and chips salsa/guacamole. All very good for nice looking dive bar. As for the beer selection, I can’t complain. They have a great amount of tv’s there, one pool table, juke box. The price of beer is around $ 5-$ 6 and the food is around $ 8-$ 11 range. So not a bad deal here. As for service, it depends how busy it is which will determine how fast your food comes out. If you sit right at the bar, you get your drink and food faster. I had not yet been here on a busy day, but I can imagine how it can get. As for the crowd, it’s just your average type. You sometimes get bikers there and good mixture of other types.

This place is great. It looks pretty unassuming from the outside, like a dumpy kind of bar in a random ass strip mall by the freeway. But once you’re inside the place is actually pretty nice. With decent furnishings and a bunch of big tvs for sports. The drink prices were great, big beers and strong pours for a small sum. We only got standard bar food, didn’t try their entrees or dinners, but again they do pretty good with that as well, big portions of fatty fried finger foods for a reasonable price. Excellent place, would definitely go back!

I actually chose to come here because the picture of the fries. Crinkle cut! I got the burger and those fries. The burger was so-so but the fries were definitely worth it. I was also attracted by their decent section of craft beers. They rotate also, which will draw me back. The place itself is nice. Very clean, modern décor. Lots of TVs playing lots of sports. Whatever. I saw one couple playing a game so they must have games! The bartender was nice and patient with me picking out a beer. She let me sample, which I always approve of. There’s a dress code which I assume is to avoid fights. I’m new to the Garden Grove so I don’t know if that’s a thing. I went there for lunch so no drama for me. I’ll only ever be here during the day anyway. Prices were average for the type of place it is.

Service here was very friendly, though when we ordered our first beers we were brought the larger(20oz?) size without being asked which size we wanted. Definitely go for the fish tacos they are amazing. They have a couple of pool tables if you are into that. Their beer list is long, this is definitely a great place to stop for dinner. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express and this was basically the only place nearby that was open after 9pm. There was a creepy guy there that wanted to talk to everyone and make his presence known(yelling out loud if the waitress was trying to have sex with him after bumping into her, things like that). That influenced us to want to leave sooner than we would have liked, but thankfully we were finished and soon to leave anyway. They have a ton of TVs showing sports. The arm wrestling entertained us(and pretty much everyone else) while we were there.
