Still the best and freshest in the Valley, and beyond. Creative chef Rob makes the most delightful and tasty meals. The pastry chef makes some of the best desserts anywhere.

We live in Boise but spend a lot of time in Garden Valley and always make it a point to eat at Two Rivers. The quality of the food and service is fantastic, even when comparing it to the options in the Treasure Valley it’s one of our favorites. I’ve never had a bad meal there and most of the staff is very friendly. The chef is extremely friendly and often comes out of the kitchen and checks with diners on their meals. Garden Valley is extremely lucky to have such a quality establishment.

I have eaten at the two rivers grill a few times now, once when they were in the smaller building, and a few times now that they have moved into a larger establishment. This place itself is the homey, log feel you get from most buildings up here. The owners are friendly and nice– each time we eat there they have come over to talk with us, ask about our meal and how we are doing. The food itself is great, they don’t have a huge menu, but what they lack in size they make up for in diversity– they have everything from yakisoba to pots de crème. It surprises me that another reviewer was unhappy with the halibut, as I have heard that this is especially delicious from the restaurant. In fact, they are usually sold out by the time dinner comes around(at least from when I have been there). Oh and there is also a bar. Anyways, I am a big fan of the Two Rivers Grille– we are headed there for dinner tonight!

My one and only meal here will also be my last. I had the halibut and it was old and stinky. Because I ate more than one piece the wouldn’t take it back. From now on I will be eating at the Dirty Shame.

This business is always slamming the other businesses in crouch and has labeled them all«white trash» not very friendly to any of the locals that would have been supportive of their business. The trash talk that comes out of 2 rivers doors is UNBELIEVABLE.

My review is going to be based on the willingness to help a stranded traveler in need of a telephone. My husband’s truck broke down on Highway 17(Banks to Lowman Road) a few weeks ago and after hitching a ride into town so he could call a tow truck and me to come pick him and my 13 year old son up, he walked into Two Rivers and after explaining the situation, he asked if he could make a phone call. The worker(not sure who it was) told him he should try the Garden Valley Market. Really? What happened to being nice, good neighbors, etc? I have eaten here in the past, but never will again. I have family that lives in Garden Valley that will never eat here again because of this type of «service». If you are ever in need of a phone in Garden Valley, check out the Wander Inn — the lady that runs that is sweet as ever and willing to help out a stranger in need.

Our group stopped by for dinner after a whitewater rafting trip. We quickly learned that the restaurant is a family-run operation, with mom serving as hostess, the daughter as waitress, and dad as the cook. The first thing we noticed was that there were no burgers on the menu, but our waitress later went through burger options when telling us the evening’s specials. We were also surprised to find Korean kalbi beef and Japanese yakisoba on the menu, next to more traditional fare like prime rib and pasta. Having lived in Asia for nearly 20 years, I asked about this, and the cook came out to introduce himself and explain that he changes the menu frequently, putting the things that he enjoys cooking on it. I would have gone for the kalbi, but the popularity of the jambalaya — which had sold out by the time we arrived — had used us the restaurant’s supply of rice, so I opted for a bacon cheese burger. We were served fresh-baked bread, which was delicious. My son’s broccoli and cheddar soup disappeared in seconds, as did his spaghetti. Our burgers were fantastic also. The highlight of the meal was the marion berry cobbler a la mode, which we had for dessert — big enough to share, but so tasty that you don’t want to. Service was exceptionally friendly, and it was a great treat to meet the chef and hear about his experience at the restaurant. All in all, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of dining venues. We took a look at the breakfast menu, and it looked so good that we considered driving back from Boise the next day just to partake, but we decided to save it for a separate outing, when we’ll bring the extended family A gem of a place that makes food from scratch and with high-quality ingredients. You can taste the love and care that goes into each meal. I hope the kalbi is still on the menu the next time I’m back.

Owners of this establishment are horrible people. They had a 70-year-old man’s truck towed illegally on 4th of July, 2015. No signs indicating«No Parking» were posted anywhere, never is. Lied to Law Enforcement and Tow Company to have truck towed, and during the water parade, which caused a great disturbance. Owners never attempted to contact vehicle owner or provided Tow Company info when asked. Owners yelled profanities at daughter of truck’s owner and trespassed from property. Please spread this unlawful behavior, since all locals know how crooked owners really are. I will never ever spend a dime at this place and if you read this review, I would hope you wouldn’t support an establishment that treats people this way.

I hate to admit it, but in a town like Crouch I’m a little weary of the local food options. My boyfriend were in town this weekend for an elk viewing sleigh ride, and this is one of the restaurants the guide recommended to us afterwards. The whole town consists of log-built businesses, which I love. When we walked into Two Rivers, I was not surprised to find the restaurant dark, dingy and a little outdated. The hostess/waitress was friendly, and the head chef was out of the kitchen and welcomed us, as well. It took about 10 minutes to get seated even though the place wasn’t too busy, but it looked like there was only one waitress. I had to giggle at our table; it was kind of cheap and the chairs were the kind you’d find in a church built for 500 people, but the table was set nicely and out water cups were wine glasses. Just a funny mix, I suppose :) My boyfriend got the prime rib sandwich and I opted for the croque madame turkey(sp?). It took a while to get our food, but we weren’t in a hurry. And, it was worth it! The menu didn’t have much to choose from for lunch, so we settled pretty quickly. The fries were pretty standard, slim-cut fries. The prime rib sandwich was just a hunk of prime rib on a slim baguette, which made us laugh. It looked a little red for my taste, but my boyfriend said it was delicious. My sandwich came on the same slim baguette, and was incredibly good! I’ve never had that kind of sandwich, but I will definitely order it again! The service remained a little lackluster throughout, but she was very nice when we did see her. Overall it was a good place though, and I’ll certainly go back when I’m in the area.(They have a big front porch they open in the warmer months — yes please!)

It is a pleasure to enjoy a meal at this restaurant. The food is prepared by experienced chefs who obviously take pride in their work. The soups, meats, fish, veggies, salads, deserts, sandwiches all arrive exactly as one expects; with great seasoning, nice presentation, and timely service. This is not a «hamburger and fries» restaurant but they serve those and other similar items without a problem; and they have a breakfast buffet on Sunday which is always fantastic. The seafood is fresh or not on the menu which means it is always grilled or baked to perfection. There is a full service«Cowboy» bar and a well rounded wine list to accompany any meal as well. The owners are fun folks and have supported the town and local events with enthusiasm and participation. There are two patios to enjoy when the weather is nice and when it seems a bit cold or dark the interior is warmly welcoming in good ‘old cowboy fashion. We highly recommend Two Rivers Grill!

From this Local’s perspective, «We’re soooo lucky to have this restaurant!!» Excellent food, friendly, well-trained staff, perfect atmosphere! Rob’s specials are always especially good, and Liz keeps everything running like clockwork! Their energy and efforts are well placed and their restaurant shows it. I try to get our family’s «chef» there on a regular basis! Going to try the Sunday Brunch this weekend!
