The e facility is older and not in the best neighborhood but I have been happy with the overall care that they provide for my mom through the years. The staff is caring and let me know of significant changes so I can proactively schedule medical appointments.

Hancock Park, CA
This is not the most fancy retirement home, but for the price, the facility is clean and above everything else, the staff is caring. There is a bit of a homey feel that I don’t see at other care homes. My parent has been in here for awhile after trying numerous places and is quite content, and in fact, is not wanting to go anywhere else. He likes the meals and the snacks and claims it’s better than the other care homes that he has resided at.
What I also appreciate is the camaraderie between the residents and how they all look out for one another.
For those who have individuals that require additional care from time to time, it’s also convenient that the convalescent side is just next door. When emergencies occur, he can temporarily move from one side to the other and then return to the retirement center.
