The food is good but the customer service is horrible. The server kept forgetting to bring the food we orderd we had to ask more than 3 times. Also they didn’t even have rice sheets. Overall did not like the service.

My friend and I were suppose to eat at a different kbbq place but it was too crowded and this place was a lot cheaper than another one down the street. It was pretty empty inside for it being 7pm but after eating there it’s understandable. The server we had was nice, kind of seem to have an attitude but still smiled and glady took our orders. Meat quality is okay, side dishes were okay, seafood pancake was okay, bean paste soup was okay. Everything was just okay. It wasn’t terrible but there are definitely much better places to go eat kbbq.

I went there for lunch. The service was great. We’re happy for the taste, and portion size for BBQ pork, and beef. We enjoy it.

Very nice place, and clean. The waiter actually spoke English, and offered us rice, and a fork, which was great! The food was excellent. I can’t wait to go back.

There are many kbbqs near this restaurant but I like this place more for their quality of meat. There are 2 options: $ 18.99 and $ 25.99 and the 25.99 one includes their popular pork ribs. If you like Ham Ji Park for their pork ribs, this place is a bit different but still delicious. My personal favorites were the spicy chicken, regular pork ribs and their kalbi from the 25.99 menu. I also enjoyed the spicy pepper soup or something like that. They have a small parking lot in the front and also in the back so I didn’t have any problem finding one. The service was great. I loved my unlimited steamed eggs :)

My buddies and I went here today for lunch and the guy server was cool and friendly. After a while, there was a girl server who took over and clearly did NOT want to be there. We were the only guests in the restaurant, so it wasn’t like she was busy or anything. She was just being lazy and had an attitude. Food was decent, nothing different from other Korean BBQ places. We still tipped well, as we hoped the guy would get half of that tip. The girl server doesn’t even make eye contact when thanking us, even when we gave a good tip. Fire her please.

The empty parking really should have been the first sign that this place was at best subpar in Korean BBQ. But clueless, my friends and I went inside and the restaurant was about as empty as the parking lot, it took about ten minutes to find someone and get seated. While we were seated the staffed appeared to be pretty indifferent to our needs — as it took them over 20 minutes to serve us meat(mind you we were one of 3 parties in the restaurant). The side dishes were very bland and the staff seemed very hesitant to refill the side dishes — one of them even went as far as lying about the potato salad being out for the night. The rice paper tasted old — kind of like how day old rice was left out to dry and reheated again. The selection of meat was alright — the quantities served to us were very small and it was nearly impossible to flag down a staff member to give us refills — every time someone was contacted they looked annoyed to have to get us yet another item… My advice — go down the street — there are about 2 – 3 other Korean BBQ places which serve better food at a similar price.

Looking to try some KBBQ in the South Bay area for a large birthday party group in a few month and was and driving on Western and there were a few other KBBQ in the area, but this one was not crowded so we decided to try it. The AYCE was $ 18 and decided to just try the lunch special, it was plenty enough, more that the usual place I go to on Western, Sheila, and for about the same price. I would say that I have found my new lunch KBBQ place in the area, if I’m on a budget. The food was good, got the spicy boneless pork and got plenty to eat! It comes with your usual KBBQ side, a soup and a cup of rice. It wasn’t that busy, probably because you have about 4 more KBBQ to choose from in the area, but at least the food was good and they serve a lot more than other places!

After walking out of Shilla Korean Restaurant( ) from the very horrible service, we were starving and decided to go to the closest KbbQ joint. Mind you, I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant before in my entire life… Anyways, I remember this plaza from way back in the days when it was previously named in english«Super House». We walked in with no expectations and just ready to grub. We really got lucky… I’ve been to KbbQ spot around Gardena/Torrance and none impress me really. Ok Ok… I am being unfair and comparing it to Ktown or OC k-joints that are pretty bomb though. I was and am amazed at the awesomeness of this restaurant all around and will definately return again! Here were my positive notes: 1) Cheap Price for AYCE had TONS of inclusions for the perfect portion! Try everything… their fresh pan-fried marinated japchae… BOMB-DIGGITY! I had the lowest one $ 18.99 per person and it was more than enough! 2) Both Korean Waiters had fantabulous service and so accomodating. Never felt bad for asking for more like I do in some spots. 3) Not too Hot or Crowded with Customers. 4) Meat Quality is pretty good for somewhere so chill Seriously support them… They are good people with good food!

Came here with a few other friends for dinner. We got the cheaper of the 2AYCE options for $ 18.99, a pretty standard price for AYCEKBBQ. For the meats, we tried the chadol(brisket), sam-gyup-sal(pork belly), and jummulluk. The meats weren’t amazing but not bad either. The jummulluk however was the worst I’ve had at a KBBQ. The meat was so tough, bland and thin… not juicy and marinated like jummulluk usually is. The banchans(side dishes) were just A-OK. One major downside was the service. The servers were nice and friendly but SO slow! There were a few different ladies serving us but it took forever for us to get a hold of them when we needed something. Unlike a lot of other Korean restaurants, this place doesn’t have a button you can push to call the server, and they weren’t walking around to check up on us. There were long gaps in between meats where we were just waiting. Boooo. There’s definitely better options in the area for KBBQ, both in terms of quality of food and service. Probably won’t be back.

I like this place because the tables have partitions between them, so it gives you a bit of privacy. I didn’t try their spicy pork ribs, which I hear is what they are known for. Came in at lunch time and my mom and I were the only patrons. Needless to say, service was excellent. They have a good variety of meat choices for the $ 22.99 option. Kind of pricey, but the meat quality was pretty good. Their steamed egg was just ok, and so was the soup. I would come back again to try the ribs. Overall, an average AYCE experience.

This is my most likable AYCE kbbq spot in Gardena /Torrance area and I can get pretty picky with it comes to kbbq. I like places like Moon BBQ and Start BBQ but I really don’t like cooking on their wire grills. I like this place because most of their meats are good quality and they have a solid flat grill. The restaurant is average in size and so is their service. It’s not as widely known as some of the other spots in the area so there usually isn’t much of a wait. One thing that consistently seem to bug me is that their servers tend to have terrible memory. I often see myself telling the servers the same thing twice or more times. I do however like how they pre-cook the large intestines for you because they usually take a while to cook(never seen anywhere else do that). I wish they had a $ 10 – 12 menu though for the times I just need my small kbbq fix. Overall, this is my favorite go-to spot for kbbq in town.

If I could give this place a zero I definitely would. The beef was bland and the service was awful. My friends and I were here for almost an hour watching waiters and waitresses busily waiting on other tables but never glancing at ours. This is my second time eating here and we only came this time because I didn’t remember if I liked it the food here or not. Now I remember.. the food was just okay but the service was terrible. I will not be back. Stay away if you don’t want to waste your money.

Nothing much to say about this place, so I’ll just list the pros and cons: Pros: –Decent service –Meat was delicious and good quality!(especially the short ribs) –Changed the grill without us having to ask Cons: –Banchan was boring –Sauce was meh –The grill chars quickly –Steamed egg sucked Overall the experience was meh. Might as well try the other kbbqs on the street.

Owners changed so the service and food improved! Wasn’t one of my favorite korean bbq places but recently I’ve been raving about this place. Some people are complaining about the prices being a bit high, but you get what you pay for. You’re not getting shitty pieces of meat, the side dishes are actually good and homemade, and the servers are attentive. And didja see all the choices in one deal?!? Yeah, it’s good!

This was one of the worst, if not the worst, Korean BBQ experiences I’ve ever had. But it wasn’t all that bad in the beginning. There’s a shared private lot in this little strip mall. And everyone in the party was able to find parking w/o problems. We had made a reservation and they set aside a table for us. Sadly that’s about when all the pro’s ended… The banchan was rather sad. There just wasn’t much variety. Service was SLOW. The busboy was more helpful than our waitress. Getting water and meat refills should not take more than 10 minutes. I assume they delay it so that we start to feel full while we ate. The meat quality was just so-so. And their dipping sauces were flavorless as well. I know that it’s not in k-town, so I shouldn’t expect too much. But c’mon. In the end, what really killed it for me was service: We paid w/part cash and credit card. Being as how the tip was already included in the bill, we assumed we’d have some cash brought back. But the lady just took the extra $ 25! C’mon, really? Fine, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt cuz we didn’t speak Korean. We also brought a cookie cake to share. I asked for a knife at least 4 times. But to no avail. I guess since we had already paid, they quit working our table. And promptly ignored us. I am now assuming that they just wanted us to leave. But they weren’t that busy on this particular Friday night. Long story short: I am not going back… ever.
