In my efforts to find the perfect Bear Claw, it’s been awhile since I have been here. Now several owners later, they serve almost everything besides the donut stuff. I remember when they just had donuts and coffee/hot chocolate and beverages. As donuts go they are a little expensive to some of the places I’ve been too. The claw should be slightly crunchy on the outside to hold the apple filling in, which should not be to sweet or cinnamony Should have a minimum of 5 apendeges like a real bear. All in all it was a good claw.

It was the day after National Donut Day, so I had to fulfill my craving and national duty. My friend & I stopped by this joint on a Saturday afternoon. We got a half dozen for less than $ 5! My MO is a non-glazed plain cake donut. It tasted good. My friend got a glazed buttermilk and liked it. Unfortunately, she tasted & threw out the rest of the donuts because they were meh.

Open 24 hrs!!! Ive been here quite a few times, but all of them were late night/early morning trips. I sometimes get a dozen donuts when i know its super fresh(anything after 4am) and the maple bars are the best in town, hands down. Ive ordered their Double Burger and their Egg, Bacon, Ham and cheese toast, and thats become my regular every time i stop over and im having a craving. You do have to wait since late at night they gotta make it on the fly, but well worth it i assure u

Was in the mood for a donut and remembered about this place since it was 24⁄7 I went to check it out. It located in a plaza like place with other businesses but is on only one side of the area it’s next to Hometown Buffet but on the back side of it since Hometown entrance is on the opposite side. This is a small place a couple of tables inside no outside seats. There are many things to select from donuts, sandwiches, burgers, breakfast, boba type drinks, regular drinks, some microwaveable meals, coffee etc. Since the donut selection was not great I opted to get a turkey and cheese croissant which I heard was a great choice here so I tried it and yes it was good too. The lady told me the donuts are only fresh in the morning time I guess like a typical donut shop. Overall a great place to satisfy your hunger after hours.

Honestly I don’t usually give donut shops 5 stars but this one seriously has everything in a huge variety. They have drinks(a lot of them, more than any other donut shop I’ve see). They have a huge selection of donuts. They have sandwiches(breakfast and lunch). They have chips and snacks and gum. Their juices are nice and freshly squeezed in front of you. Donuts are light and fresh and have a crunch which shows they are fresh. They’re SuPEr clean. I mean to the point that they were mopping at noon. Will be back. Soon.

I love mom and pop shops, but I’m not blown away yet. Grateful that they’re open 24⁄7 for those late night cravings, but there isn’t much of a selection, and the donuts are on the«too sweet» side. Planning to go back for another try.

Good and cheap and a lots of things to choose from; from sandwiches to shakes, and even cigarettes. The lady behind the counter is also very sweet and cheerful ! Bonus; free wifi. Bonus bonus; 24 hrs ! I now know where I will go for my drunken breakfast cravings ! Lol.

Good price but there were flies in the display case which made the donuts less appealing. Also the lady who works at night wears sunglasses… I dunno but it really bothered me

I came here years ago and didn’t like the stale donuts. Not sure if new owners took over, but my husband talked me into trying this place again. It is one of the best freshest donut places I have ever had. My kids tried the ham & cheese crossunts and loved them so much that they don’t even come here for the donuts anymore. I’ve also had an mocha frap and it is delicious! I’m very glad my husband asked me to give them another try. Thanks Rainbow Donuts!

Came here at around 10:30 on a Friday night had a hankerin for somethin sweet. So this was the closest donut shop that was open late. Awesome price, not to sweet, the donuts are much larger/thicker than Krispy k or any donut shop I’ve been to in the area. Great variety as well. Oh and love the fact that they sell blunt wraps HUGE variety as well! :)

I am technical sales professional that’s in the field most of my day and all over the Southland. Being on the road most of the work week, I commonly eat a variety of meals on the road. When possible I rank my eateries 1st for taste and then for speed and convenience. I’ve experienced several excellent gourmet donut, sandwich and smoothies establishments from San Barbara to San Diego and as far east as Dallas, Texas. Just the other day I happened to be heading to an appointment at Gardena Memorial Hospital, where I was to present to a staff of 20, I pulled off the freeway and noticed Rainbow Donut Shop on the south side of the street on Redondo Beach Blvd. I think its in Gardena but it might be Torrance. I just wanted a quick cup of coffee, as I was bit early for my meeting, so i decided to stop in and check this place out. Upon entering this small establishment in relatively large Shopping Plaza, I was so kindly greeted by the proprietor, Mr Long. Before saying a word Mr Long handed a complimentary fresh warm donut sample along with a huge, welcoming smile. My first bite of the fresh, warm donut was so good that words just cannot descibe. It had to be of the most delicious donuts I’ve ever had and pleasure of eating. I asked how long it would take to make 3 dozen for me to take to my meeting. Mr Long told me it would take just 10 minutes to prepare. I agreed, and, like clockwork, the donuts were boxed and front of me right on time. He asked me if I wanted to have it delivered to my meeting at the hospital along with coffee and Orange Juice. It was almost as if he was clairvoyant. he said, «go to your meeting, my friend, I’ll see you there and we’ll settle up then.» I just wanted to recognize the owner and staff of Rainbow Donut Shop for making my meeting a success. Everyone of the GM hospital staff was blown away, as I was, with quality and flavor of these fabulous donuts. I’m giving a HUGESHOUTOUTTORAINBOWDONUTS! NICEWORK!!!

If they serve tea… I’m there! Stopped by this mom and pop shop(located next to HomeTown Buffet) to get myself a tea, and donuts for my boyfriend. The Thai Chai Iced Tea hit the spot on this hot & sunny 4th of July. They also serve a lot of different sandwiches too! The lady(the owner) who helped me was very nice too. I’ll have to stop by again when I’m in the area to check out some of their other items.

As others have said it is a mom and pop store. The pop works at night making the donuts and the mom works the day along with some other ladies. Pop is there in the mornings unloading supplies and mom is putting them away. Never had a donut I didn’t like. Can’t beat the holes as they are cheap and good. They also make sandwitches and have fruit drinks along with coffee and soft drinks.

Been to rainbow donuts MANY of times over the past years, at all hours of the day/night and I’ve tried almost everything they have on their menu atleast once. I just got back today and enjoyed my donuts so much, I felt I just needed to review them! It’s a usual 24 hour, mom n pop donut shop with the picture menus of donuts, sandwiches and boba smoothies, but they also literally sell everything. XD Their donuts are actually amazing here, though. I really am a fan of their cake donuts and their croissants. They’re perfect… just a little crunch on the outside and super soft on the inside. The croissant and bagel breakfast sandwiches are bomb!(G6 all day.) Been here on a bad day, sure. I’ve gotten a maybe-not-the-freshest donut or even had a small selection to choose from, but the good experiences out weigh the one or two bad ones here. Also, might I add… they have one of the biggest selection of blunts I’ve ever seen at any liquor store, let alone donut shop! Hell yeah, rainbow. \m/

Two words: donut holes! They’re so deliciously crafted here at rainbow donuts. Mmm *drools a bit* They have a large selection of breakfast sandwiches, croissants, and boba plastered on the wall. Its really nice to just stand and look at haha. I’ve been coming here since I was a wee child so I can’t help but love this place. Only reason why I docked it a star is because the lady who works here is kinda«mehh». Its a hit or miss with her. She’s either really nice and attentive, or kinda rude and won’t help you for about 7 minutes. Hope you catch her on a good day! PS: & its open 24hrs. Heck yeahhh!

Don’t go here period! For this to be a 24hours Donut shop it was pretty sad, nothing was left when you come around 10ish at night(less 15 donuts to choice from). And I’m pretty sure that was what was left from the day batch. I would expect a eatery who opens for 24 hours would have good amount of food, to sell to there customers. If someone decided to come and buy 1 dozen your pretty much out of inventory to sell to your customers for the remaining hours of the night. All in all it was just SAD.

I didn’t know if I should post this review because it most likely will hurt their business and I don’t wanna be responsible for any bad karma. But I’m gonna post this review in the hopes that maybe I’m preventing someone from getting sick in the future. I found this place randomly on Unilocal and it was easy to spot because the doors were wide open. Anyways I was looking at all the donuts and desserts behind the display cases when I stumbled across this nasty fly moving around and making it’s home on this chocolate cream cheese croissant. I kept thinking it would fly away but it just stayed there and I managed to get some good closeups of it. Both doors to this place were wide open and the back of the display case where all the donuts and croissants were sitting had no kind of shield or glass or anything to keep flies out. Just makes ya wonder what other nasty things might be lurking around this place. Just be careful eating here if you decide to ignore my review and still eat here. I don’t know if this was an isolated incident or an everyday occurrence but flies belong outside and not in your food. It goes without saying I won’t be returning.

I don’t usually give stars less than 4 but with my experience here I just had too, my friends and I decided to try their croissant sandwiches since I been hearing/reading good reviews about it. So I ordered an Egg, Sausage and Cheese croissant sandwich… No lie, I was so excited to try it! After three bites I saw a hair on the bottom of my sandwich, being a good customer I went up to the lady and let her know. Showed the lady my sandwich then she took off the hair herself and said, «it’s okay, you okay!»… No, it’s not okay because I didn’t order hair with my sandwich! I guess that’s how they roll! then she gave me free mini croissants… –_– Anyway, I’ll probably try it out one more time because those first three bites I took before finding that hair was pretty damn good!
