Great shop! The owner is knowledgable and always helpful. Nice to have a tackle shop back in the neighborhood. If he doesn’t have it on hand he’ll try and get it for you.
I’m not exactly sure what the one individual is complaining about. Yo’s even though a landmark, has been closed for years now, and those who remember the shop have knowledge of this.

I jog past this place all the time. I’m not that into fishing but I have a few friends who love it. I had been thinking about shopping locally this Christmas and this was my first stop. I felt so proud of myself walking in– no big chain was getting my money this time!
So I walk in, not knowing anything. I get greeting by the dude behind the counter… and that’s the end of the story. he said «hey», then just sat there and stared at the TV. And dude was young, like 30 something, and there was no one in the store. So I guess when you are young, healthy, on-​the-​clock, and not helping a darn person the thing to do is sit around while money is waling around your store (can you tell I have a sales background?)
Anyway, I’m sure the selection was fine (but how would I know) and the place was clean, but when I finally hand dude my cash for the couple lure I chose (because I don’t ask for help in retail situations– I just don’t spend nearly as much as I would have) and it took him 45 full seconds of silent counting to give me my change, I knew I would never be back, even if i pick up fishing as a hobby.
EDIT: The owner Jeff sent me a PM on here and apologized for the poor service. I can really appreciate that he took the time to do that, so upped from 2 to 3 stars…

Great little shop that carries all my fishing needs. The guys working there are really nice and knowledgeable. Whenever I’m about to go fishing I stop by Tackle Junkies for all my gear. They have a large selection and reasonable prices. I will make this my go to shop for all my fishing needs.
