The place has a lot of selections, I came here for the first time. They had a lot of promotions or offers since it’s Christmas season. I would give this place 5 stars. The only reason why I knocked off 1 star was because my mother and I were followed and was pressured to buy everything we would look at. The women following us were very nice, but we still felt uncomfortable since it felt like they didn’t trust us browsing around the store alone. I bought 1 toner and they both gave us their best sample based on our skin type. My mother wanted to look around and buy more for herself but she didn’t like the fact that we were followed. Overall, this location is a little bit bigger and has a better selection than the one I went to in LA.

The face shop is a popular store in Korea and I use to go to Lakewood but now there’s one local hooray. I use some creams but they don’t disappoint– check it out!

So excited to have stumbled upon The Face Shop, now in South Bay, located next to 85c Bakery and Daiso! I was able to step inside for the last 5 minutes of their operating hours. Through my speedy visit, I saw lotions, creams, lip care, and face masks. I’m a frequent user of their face masks so I was super excited to see all the different scents and types lined up neatly on the display shelf. Sadly, I didn’t get to purchase any due to lack of time.
My only suggestion would be better training in terms of customer service. I understand it’s about closing time, but I felt rushed out of the store. No business cards available at the moment. I’d imagine that parking can be busy during peak hours in this popular plaza.
I shall be back in the near future to indulge in face masks, stay tuned for an update!
