Panera Bread

I love Panera bread but this particular location is always out of things. I feel like every time I go I have to change my order because they are out of something in my original order.

I love Panera. It is my go to place for an after workout meal, to get my protein in. I always get an iced green tea with my salad and sandwich. Their soup (broccoli and cheese)

8:30 Sat night very few customers. They were out of the bread or crackers that go with soup. I had the chicken alfredo which was bland with little sauce. They really need to get it together. Im not likely to return.

Hey, it’s a Panera Bread. Food is good, service is reasonably quick, too.
Only reason I can’t give them four or five stars is because they routinely get the orders wrong. It’s a relatively new Panera, and maybe they’re still getting the hang of things. But my wife and I have learned to carefully check the food before we eat, because they’ll invariably leave the onions on (which we hate) or something else.
As another reviewer here pointed out, yeah, that can make take-​out interesting. (Speaking from experience.)
They seem to be getting better, though. Maybe the string of customers headed back to the pickup counter with botched orders has finally begun to sink in. :)
Also: hey, guys? I know you’re pushing the Panera cards, but … hey. Lighten up on that. On one of our visits, the checkout girl was really, really aggressive about it. She didn’t want to take «no» for an answer. I finally had to get rude with her to make her stop.
But all in all, good food, good service. It’s a Panera bread, and I’m glad to see one in Gardendale.

I love this place! The people there are so friendly, they are willing to bend over backwards to make your order to your request. The bread is very fresh as the other food items. Its NEVER messy & even when they are busy they have people cleaning nonstop. You never have to wait long even in the drive thru.

I absolutely love Panera! But not this location… this place JUST opened literally last week, so I went there tonight to get some dinner. I got the pick 2 — with half a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and half of a roasted turkey & avocado BLT with no lettuce. Well I get home, and my sandwich has lettuce on it and about a teaspoon of turkey/​avacodo mush… so i go back to get it remade, get it home, and it is the most bland thing I have ever eaten! The bacon was microwaved, not even real, the turkey had no seasoning and the tomatoes were hard. i could have made this sandwich much better and it surely wasn’t worth the $ 9 I paid. Called and will be going tmrw to get a refund. It’s sad that this restaurant has already lost my business after the first visit.

Very nice new location, of course everyone is coming in. Very well ran. My order was correct & good as usual. Great customer service. Nothing better than a chocolate chip bagel with a honey cream spread & a hazelnut coffee. Glad Panera finally has a loyalty program, I’ll be back for sure!
