As «evil» as Wal-mart is purported to be, it’s one of the better places around here to pick up certain things. That being said, I always get frustrated with my shopping here though, whether it’s long lines and very few open cashiering lanes, or something specific I’m looking for not being in stock(how does Wal-mart run out of face cream or mason jars and not get any more on the shelf for weeks!?). They’re not particularly helpful, so it’s a good thing I’m an independent shopper who doesn’t need much help in the first place. Any time I’ve needed assistance though, the response was bafflingly slow — if I waited around for that response. And the bathrooms could use some attention. It would be also nice if they offered customers the option of a shopping basket rather than a buggy. I will load my arms if it means keeping my wits about me and not having to fill up a buggy. Actually, I really kinda loath coming here, and I usually only do so when I need to pick up something I can’t get somewhere else or other big box stores are closed. I suppose in this region Wal-mart is a necessary evil.
