Really good Italian place. Nice for a date night. I ordered veal Saltimbocca with side of homemade fettuccini. The pasta came in a separate bowl with marinara sauce. Next time, I will order the pasta with the same sauce that the veal came with. Otherwise. Really good. It was a bit pricy. My veal with my homemade pasta($ 2 dollars extra for homemade) and my extra of blue cheese in my salad, was $ 30. My husband lasagna(sooooo good) was $ 18. Tiramisu was out of this world. We will definelty come back.

Good, but pricey Italian food. Their pasta and meat dishes are well done and their home made bread is out of this world. A great place to go with friends and family to celebrate a special occasion, or simply for a nice night out.

Came here after spending the day at nearby Minneswaksa park. They open at 4 and only take cash. They are pet friendly which is great. You and your dog can sit outside on the deck and enjoy their meatballs. They make their own bread which is awesome. Their bread is absolutely delicious. Meatballs were pretty good too. We ordered their famous mixed seafood platter and it was pretty good. Service was excellent.

Been going there for years, and unlike many restaurants where the quality goes down over time, Lombardi’s continues to maintain or exceed their high standards of food quality and service. We love the home made pasta made there and my veggie wife is addicted to the eggplant parm.

Fantastic place! Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time and bring cash or a check. The food is fresh because they make the pasta right there in front of you! The portions are large so go there on an empty stomach. The waitstaff is friendly too. There is a children’s menu and my boys love going there. It’s far for us to drive but we do it anyhow. It’s now our favorite restaurant

Truly Authentic Italian Food. We eat here, or get to go almost every week. Family owned and with recipes passed down from the older generations, Lombardis is the Real Deal.

They make the pasta right there next to the bar! There sauces are all passed down from there grandparents! This is a family run restaurant that knows how to cook!

hand made pastas and bread make this a special stop. The Shrimp Scampi pizza is LITERALLY one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. LIT-ER-ALLY!

Surprisingly good, a nice take on American-Italian fare. Homemade pastas were delicious, as were all the entrees. We ordered many dishes and shared family-style at a large gathering. They got the take-out order right and it was prepared very quickly; everything was piping hot when we picked it up! The eggplant parmigian was not overly fried, the flatbread pizza was flavorful with copious amounts of gooey cheese, sauce, garlic, etc. The salad had a variety of vegetables and gobs of fresh mozzarella. I’d gladly return to eat-in at Lombardi’s when I return to the area this summer.

Always a pleasure! Homemade pasta and bread. Basic fresh homemade Italian food. Love the cavatelli! They were closed for a month after Christmas and I went through withdrawl lol. The service is always great and the place is always full even though it is in the middle of nowhere.

The food was delicious and plentiful but the prices are also plentiful. And they only take cash or checks. Come on this is 2013. Our waitress was efficient but she didn’t seem to have any personality. This is a dated Italian restaurant which needs updating.

We discovered this place by accident and have eaten here once a week for over a month now. This is the closest Italian food that reminded me of the dinners my Italian Grandmother prepared. I very seldom like Italian food out because it never compared to real Italian food I grew up with. There homemade pasta and sauce is the best. Their meatballs were also the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Wow! I can’t say enough about this place. The staff is great but you do have to bring cash or use the ATM that is on site. Definitely the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at !!!

Service gets an A. Food(basic red Italian) gets a B plus. But they don’t take credit cards. In this day and age that gets an F minus. Total fail. No reason to not take credit cards besides tax evasion. Moreover, this is no ice cream stand; this is a place where you can run up a tab in the hundreds of dollars. They do have an ATM on site but it maxes out at $ 300, which wouldn’t even cover it for us. Fortunately we had a few bucks in cash, but overall ridiculous way to run a business. I would never return.

A gem!!! This is a wonderful restaurant! The food is expertly prepared you never have to pick up a salt and pepper shaker. Nothing has to much garlic. Although the tv cooking shows would have you believe differently authentic italian cooks go very light with all spices especially the garlic, everything is suppose to work in harmony as it does here. We had an appetizer off the special lis very good italian bread 2 slices with escarole and beans, 2with grilled mushrooms and onions and 2 with grilled eggplant it was all marvelous splashed with EVO Great starter. Next my wife had eggplant parm and I had veal saltanboco both once again prepared perfectly delicious. We never order desert but we saved room I had an individual banana cream pie and my wife had ny style cheese cake with fresh blueberry compote both we’re not overly sweet and if you can believe they were very light I know it sounds impossible but yeah they were. This was a pleasant end to a great meal. The service was perfect Samantha was our waitress and she was friendly knowledgeable and attentive with out being intrusive. I forgot they have a young man rolling out fresh pasta as you walk in the door so we opted(for a very minimal up charge) to have fresh pasta sides it was done perfectly. This was a very surprising find will be back soon.

I really hate to write this review but its necessary. First off, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Gabby(sp), our waitress, always had a smile on her face and was very pleasant. And that’s the best thing I can say about this place right now unfortunately because minutes after paying the bill I was sick to my stomach… ALLWEEKEND! I had the Zuppa di Pesce which left me wondering, what was so «famous» about it? Is it famous for making people sick? This dish ruined my weekend :-(

We had a very nice time here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The calamari was excellent and everybody in our group enjoyed their dinner. Everyone aside from me that is. I got the mussels which tasted like they were past the due date. The mussels were the special and I knew better than to get the special because it’s usually the food that’s about to expire but I took a risk and paid for it. Now I’m from the West Coast so maybe there is a difference in taste between the mussels on the two coasts(I will say that I have never seen such small bodies in a regular size shell). To sum it up I would still go here again and even recommend it but I’ll stay away from the mussels next time.

Okay, so I might be slightly biased on this review. I worked here for a very, very long time. But keep a few things in mind… I was a patron before I worked there and I’m a patron after my «retirement». Even after spending a third of my life here, I can still appreciate how special it truly is. The amount of craftsmanship that goes into the food here is astounding. There are no «shortcuts», even in places where they could probably get away with it. They really, truly work hard here and it shows in the quality of the food. My personal favorite thing on the menu is the Penne a la Vodka with chicken, prosciutto and spinach. I also never once got sick of the bread, which is quite a feat in nearly a decade of eating it. I am also not a huge pizza fan, but I absolutely love their pizza. Nearly all of the toppings are made in house, as is the sauce and dough, so it always tastes super fresh. Plus, they make them to order, so that helps. This is still a family run place, and you couldn’t give your business to a nicer family. Trust me!

The fresh pasta and homemade meatballs were very good, and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Surprisingly solid, especially for a true off the beaten path location. We have friends who live in the area and run a bed & breakfast, so we joined them and a friend for dinner last night. The service was outstanding, and fits a five-star New York City rating. Warm, friendly and efficient — could not have asked for more. Certainly among the best in the area!

Just back from another wonderful dinner with friends at Lombardi’s. Handmade fresh pasta paired with a great local wine that our server suggested and all finished up with lemon sorbet… Great food and service made for another super visit! One of the best places around IMO… I recommend making reservations, especially on weekends in the summer!
