Vintage Wine Bar

I heard that they now have a ramp of some sort. I have not made it there to try it out yet, but apparently they eventually took my complaints seriously. So I have to give them credit for that!

The Vintage Wine Bar is the perfect destination for those who are seeking comfortable atmosphere that lends to conversation and appeals to a wide variety of customers. It is centered in the picturesque Main St. in Gardiner, Maine.
I enjoy not only the location but the general ambiance of the wine bar. It is beautifully decorated and staffed by friendly people who are more than willing to accommodate ANY customer. I think it is a common misconception that some wine bars tend to be snooty and require a prior working knowledge of wine in order to patron them. It is simple to enjoy yourself here — the staff (if requested) will guide the beginner and advanced alike to wines that are surely to be savored. The selection regularly changes and never becomes stagnant.
Another note of mention is the wonderful artwork that is featured in the bar — usually for sale. They feature local artists and talent which are quite remarkable. You can tell the owner takes pride in offering the more unique and enjoyable selections to their customers.
If you are in town, make sure to ask about the rotating menu items! It is always fun to see which new invention has made the «cut!»

Their interest in improving the front of their building is ironic. Hopefully people can see through their façade — literally — and support establishments that actually respect all people.
