Gardner, KS
After being in many of the Johnson County Libraries, I am really impressed with the Gardner Library. Using the online system, I place my books/​movies/​games on hold and go by an pick them up at this branch. The on-​hold and check-​out areas are clean and neat. The librarians and volunteers are very helpful and kind. I have never had a problem with picking up items and checking them out. There is also a book drop on the side of the building.
They have free computers for patrons to use if needed. Many times, you’ll see kids and teens on the computers playing games and messing around. The library space is quiet and workable.
The only drawback for this library is that it’s not open on Sundays. I do wish I could run over there on the weekends both days.
