Seriously one of the best lattes I’ve ever drank! The staff was friendly and helpful! I still can’t believe how delicious it was! Plus the atmosphere was cool yet relaxed! You’ve got to check it out!

Love going there and just relaxing, or doing some home work. Coffee is awesome, and i haven’t tried the crepes yet but I’ve heard those are good too!

Best coffee house… ever! Only downside is that the lines can be long. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Coffee, tea, cold or hot and amazing hot chocolate. Lots of flavors and syrups give you many options. They are expanding and now offer crepes. I have celiac so I can’t eat them. yet. But I hear they are wonderful. I also hear once they get them up and gong for awhile they are going to test gluten free options. Great atmosphere. I have reserved the back table for a bible study before. You’ll often see students in there studying and doing homework. I’ve never witnessed anyone inappropriate or rude. They sometimes have live music too! Awesome! We love Groundhouse!

Top notch coffee stop in Gardner! Great service, and an excellent atmosphere. The staff there are some of the best around! This is a nice place to study quietly or meet with a small group.

I’ve never had a better vanilla latte. Brown Cow is good, too. Lots of tables and chairs make this a Gardner hotspot

This is probably the best(and only) coffee house in this little town in Kansas… so Congrats! I have a friend that chooses to live in Edgerton, KS. I haven’t decided why… but I was recently out for her bridal shower, and wanted to have«real» coffee. This cant be found in her little town, so we trekked to the next town to try this place. Groundhouse was able to calm my coffee anxiety. just knowing they were 10 minutes away was comforting ;) I went back for the wedding this past weekend and stopped in again(twice). The coffee is pretty good, the staff is nice, and I like the décor/ambiance. I don’t think Ill ever be back in the state of Kansas… but we had a good thing while it lasted. Thanks, XO

Great coffee but i am going to complain today. The service is extremely slow and they still got my wife’s order wrong. 15 minutes later when my wife got her coffee she was over it and ready to go to the gas station. Just because groundhouse is the«only» coffee shop in town does not make it right. Step up your game a little groundhouse you can do better!

Great coffee, locally owned shop. I ordered the sugar free caramel latte and it was so good! Prices are comparable to big chain coffee shops. We will be coming back!

Small town feel with hipster coffee vibe and product. They may not do pour overs, but they know how to do espresso and coffee right. The historic brick building and wood interior finishes makes for a gorgeous place to grab a latte and relax. If you go in the fall, get the Pumpkin Pie latte. It is heavenly.

My boyfriend and I make the drive down here just for their yummy coffee drinks and enjoyable atmosphere. I don’t remember the name of my favorite drink but I know it’s espresso with white chocolate and blackberry… So good.

Cool coffeehouse in downtown Gardner. Two teenagers behind the counter were friendly and helpful. There was lounge-style seating with comfy-looking sofas set around coffee tables along with regular tables spaced about. A bulletin board hung on one wall, announcing local happenings. Big place. I didn’t stay long, but I had an iced coffee that was decent and priced right.

Outstanding staff — exceptional beverages — great baked goods. Tons of options for coffee drinkers, tea drinkers, and kids. Unique seasonal beverage ideas. The atmosphere is awesome with plenty of room. Kids section is a great idea. Recently gone to several coffee shops in the area and there is no comparison. This place is the standard by which a coffee shop should be measured.

Great atmosphere and good coffee. The décor is cool with some older architectural details. They have a couple of comfy seating areas and the standard tables, and also a cute replica of the counter area for kids to play in and play barista. My nephew absolutely loves going there, and I’m happy to oblige.

Really liked this place! The baristas were both extremely nice and were helpful in suggesting something new to try. I think they used Parisi beans which I am not a huge fan of, but still extremely drinkable. Loved the layout inside as well.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Wonderful staff and décor. They have an awesome Children’s area for kids to play in while you enjoy your coffee. It’s so great to have an authentic coffee house in downtown Gardner. It would be a great place to host a book club or Bible Study.

My wonderful husband is somewhat of a coffee snob so going back to Gardner for the holidays is rough as we can’t being the espresso maker with us. We were excited to hear that Groundhouse was open this year so we had a place to not only escape the ‘rents for an hour or so but also get some much needed caffeine. We were excited to see what a great job they did at the decoration to the warm & inviting space. Plus the coffee is up to my husband’s high snobby standards. We enjoyed the ‘for here’ cups and after only 2 visits the barista remembered my husband was extra hot…(That’s how he likes his latte(-:) After growing up and spending many years in good ‘olé Gardner, it’s nice to have a place that we enjoy just hanging out! It was difficult to tell as a non-Gardernite now if Groundhouse was open at times because if the windows all fogged up, but that didn’t stop us from pulling on the handles.

Awesome addition to downtown Gardner. As mentioned before, this coffee house has gone into a historical building in Gardner, and has all of the charm that you would expect from a building that is nearly a century old. High ceilings, tin tiles on the ceiling, brick walls, just a great environment for this business. I’m not a huge coffee drinker myself, but the Chai Latte is the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve heard other good things about the coffee selections. The kids play kitchen was a huge hit with my 4 year old, and allowed my wife and I to spend a quality evening away from the house at a low cost. On the kids side, they offer a kids size drink, that was just $ 1 for a Hot Cocoa, which was really good too. I believe they get some of their bakery items from 3 Women and an Oven, so that’s another plus.

This place recently started up in an old building right in the center of Gardner, and my wife has been anxiously awaiting the opening because the space is just right for a coffee shop. This morning, we rounded up our little person and headed in. The steam from the espresso had fogged up some of the windows, but the smell of coffee was just right as soon as we walked in. The coffee was good, the staff was nice, and the cinnamon roll was just right. I expect that I’ll be back on a regular basis. They’ve taken the time to work out most of the business and marketing details –before– opening and have a professional web presence already. The furnishings are really nice and they have placed a good deal of time, thought, and expense into planning a nice space. The kids play area is really nice and was a hit right away; the play area at Eden Alley on the plaza has just been one-upped. There’s a larger table in the back(great table!) that looks to be an ideal space for a simple business or group meeting.
