This is a great course for the money! I haven’t played Carson Valley for a few years and was there today for Northern Nevada Women’s Golf Association Team Play. We were all pleasantly surprised with the course improvements and the grooming. I would recommend this course.

Older course. Somewhat short and flat but has some water and sand to mix things up. Some holes seemed to be squeezed into the layout. Definitely a local spot popular with the retired folks in the area. Play was paced well and we had very little delay. Overall not bad for the money. We had a coupon from our resort for golf, cart and lunch for $ 40,

Awesome golf course! Weaves back and forth over a creek which makes for a challenging course. Fairways and greens are well manicured, and surrounded by beautiful trees. staff is very friendly and helpful. We live in South Lake Tahoe and play here several times a year, best course within 40 mile radius from Tahoe.

Avoid this dump at all cost– Way over priced($ 25 to walk 9 holes) and the course is in horrible condition. The food and drinks are equally poor and also overr priced. A major disappointment– don’t bother with this place.

Live and mostly play in the bay area, but always make the 20 minute drive to this place when I’m in Tahoe. The Carson river winds thru it which eats balls from mid to high handicappers. It can play to 6400 yds. The greens can be rough in tperature extremes. Generally easy to get on and walkable if you’re in average shape.
