After back and forth, Pete was willing to work with our budget. Project turned out better than expected. Pete’s vision far exceeded what we had in mind. Workers were friendly and cared about our daily needs. Thank you for your service.

They now added a water feature. It looks and sounds terrific. Highest recommendation. They are not cheap, but you get good value.

I used Elk Horn for some sprinkler repairs and they did a great job at a reasonable price.

Cannot say enough good about Elkhorn Landscape. Their quote was very reasonable, the job was started on time and finished on time. The crew arrived every day and worked extremely hard, being very respectful of our neighbors and the surroundings. We receive many compliments regarding our patio, trees, rocks, and shrubs. Unfortunately there were a couple items (a tree and shrub) that did not do well in their new surroundings. One call to Pete at Elkhorn and both items were replaced immediately.

Moved in to a new house with literally no landscaping on the sides and in the back in October, 2013. Pete and his team worked hard to get a beautiful retaining wall and planter installed before the winter freeze. He also installed a drain running the length of the side of the house prior to the wet weather nd ground freezing. His design of the retaining wall/​planter runs all along the entire back yard and looks like something you might see around a National Park lodge. He has given us the option of working in phases as the weather and finances permit, which is working out great or us.
Pete’s wealth of knowledge and experience is really paying dividends as he designs and lays out each segment. Currently, we are in negotiations to xeriscape our front yard. Pete has come up with a great design for a fair price and is willing to work with our schedule to get it in before the heat of the summer months.

We needed to get our yard done from the very beginning phase. We had a very strict budget and big plans. We told him what we wanted and how much our price range was. I knew it was a stretch but Pete made it happen without cutting quality. Pete is always available when we had questions and very reliable. It has been about a month and he still follows up with us and gives us advice on how to maintain our new sod. After calling around he was the best choice for quality work and a very fair price.

Pete started designing our backyard 7 years ago. We chose to do it in phases. The final phase was finished in August 2012 with the final addition, a beautiful waterfall. Pete has posted many pictures of our backyard on Facebook (Elkhorn Landscape).
A year after this posting, my yard is a mess. All the same grasses were planted in the ornamental grass garden. Looks like a jungle. Seven dead ornamental grasses were never replaced. I waited until July 2013 and still not replaced.
I will find a new landscaper for 2014.

I like to take care of my own yard. However, I got to a point where I threw my hands up and couldn’t dial in my irrigation correctly in a few spots, which resulted in brown spots. Ugh!
So, I called Elkhorn and right away I felt reassured that I did! Pete sure knows his landscaping stuff and got to my project right away. After a solid day of work, my irrigation was upgraded and brown spots started to turn to green right away. He also sprayed my yard for weeds.
Glad I did it now in the fall so my yard will start out on solid footing in the spring! Thanks Elkhorn!
