There may be an occasional positive review, but don’t count on these. Here’s what happened to me I called Frontier to cancel services this morning and was advised that we would be responsible for a charge of $ 510.67 due to early termination of contract. After some investigation, and a lot of arguing for our case, I found out that Frontier changed their online billing system at the end of 2014. The online change caused all of the old accounts(including mine) to be wiped from their system. It appears that the online change caused a discrepancy in their billing communications. I believe this is why we did not receive any bills for the months of December, January, or February from Frontier. After a lot of inconsistency on Frontier’s end, they agreed to waive the early termination fees, cancel services as of today, and reimburse any late fees that may have been applied to the account. So they hounded me for a payment I’d made, that didn’t show up in their system and then discontinued service when it was their failure. PLEASE, if you have any option, even a hotspot(which we are using temporarily and IT’S FASTER). Stay away from this company. Total band of misfits.

Internet has been down for over 26 hours so far and they can neither identify the cause nor give an estimate for restoration of service. Obviously not to be trusted

Zero stars!!! This company«Frontier Communications» sucks and rips off people. $ 30 for 6 mgs ??? I don’t even get that at home. I get under 1 mbps download & upload. Their customer service is even worse! I can not get anyone to bill me correctly, fix the problem or set my account up online. I also get transferred multiple times to dumb agents who always claim their system is down. What sucks worse is no one offers internet except Frontier in Tahoe Summit. there should be laws against lemon companies like frontier communications. Don’t sign with them if you have other options. You have been warned!!!

Can’t even get them to tell us IF they service our area! The«sales» guy asked 10+ questions which my husband politely answered– inquiring multiple times as to whether they have a signal for our rural area– other providers do not so we’re Leary after 2 bad internet experiences. He pleaded for the guy to just check our address before we waste any more time on marketing questions. He was very rude and refused to even check– He had a script to follow for marketing! Well, I teach sales & ethical influence– Frontier gets a D-. We went with another carrier who appreciated our business and had a conversation instead of a car salesman type monologue. Listening, not talking over a prospect, is the key to selling.

I have had Frontier for three years after canceling Charter internet who slowing increases your rates. Charter also has the worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with. My Frontier bill changed once after my two year deal ended. My service has been reliable the entire time. Charter cut my service off while still charging me saying the cable was spliced in the house. After two weeks Charter never came back and fixed my internet. I cancelled Charter and switched to Frontier.
