The Pet Station

Love this pet store. Every time I go in there, the Owner is awesome. Very knowledgable. I have a picky dog, she always wants people food. Uggghh. Not me, the previous owner fed her nothing but meat bones. She’s a really lazy 6lb Chihuahua, my world. Love her. I found out today that the dog food I was feeding her has crappy stuff in it. Grr.
I stopped by today and the guy, young kid, forgot his name, told me about many dog foods. I settled on Grandmalucys all natural dog food. I’m so excited, he said money back guarantee too. He was so knowledgable too. Best pet store I’ve ever been too.

I’m really trying to like this place, and 3 stars may be pushing it. Selection is great, service has me concerned.
On a visit after a power outage, I see a battery pump that would work for me, and come back to following week to buy it. They are out, I ask about ordering, they do some research, and call to tell me they can not find any pump like what I saw in their store earlier. Hhmmm… On 10−7−14, I go in to buy some fish, and what do I see on their shelves? The same pump I asked about earlier. Buy it, get home, and later that night, take it out of box to make it tank ready. Mind you, on the box, it CLEARLY states contents «pump, tubing, air stone», yet when I open the box, no tubing or stone. Go in to store on 10 – 8, point this out to employee, and her replay was «hhmmm, didn’t notice that before. We do sell stones and tubing». I don’t want to buy what I’m told is included. So now I have to wait for the manager’s call, who happened to be the person that sold me the pump, to get this rectified.
I’ll post after her decision…
UPDATE— Got a call, was told tubing/​stone were in battery compartment, found them, and agreed that it is an «interesting» spot to put them. Either way, the time/​call are very appreciated to correct this, which led me to bump up my rating to 5 stars…
