A Comfortable Solution

Very very upset with this company. I was quoted $ 95/​hr for a simple plumbing fix of a split pipe. The previous owner of the house had left me the contact info because they had done alot of previous work for her, and I was happy to continue working with someone who was already familiar with the house. The job took less than 2 hours but I understand paying for the full 2hrs. Instead of it being the $ 190+ materials I was charged $ 375! When I questioned it — because there were ‘2 guys’ there I was told. I made the mistake of calling A Comfortable Solution who themselves could not do the job and actually brought in a separate plumber (Kirsteuer Plumbing) so Rich — the owner of the company stood around while the plumber did the work and then charged me for TWO guys! I am not an inexperienced homeowner, and am shocked they did this. I have a couple other trustworthy plumbers I could have called instead but waited for Rich to be available because they previous owner had trusted him to work on her house for many years. I thought he was a ‘nice guy’ when I spoke to him and met him, I didn’t know he was going to screw me like this. He lost all the business he would have gotten from me doing work on the CAC systems in the house that he installed and earned a few honest reviews to let other people know how this business operates.
