Foxy Nails

If I could give this a minus star I would !
The only reason why I came to this place is because there are not too many salons open in this area on Sunday (especially around this time in the afternoon). I should have known better since they only had two stars — BIG mistake !
My mother and I walked in to an insanely strong smell of ammonia and whatever other products they are using. After about 20 minutes of waiting they finally sat my mother down (she was getting her gel removed and wanted a fill. She soaked her nails and waited for another 40 minutes afterwards — still no attention to us. Now, I finally sat in the pedicure chair (waiting, waiting, waiting) and at this point we had been there for a little over an hour. Finally the girl goes to my mother and says they have to do a full new set of gels because she has two nails chipped. Turns out that the reason why she said that is because the only two people in the salon that can do the gel manicures are busy and didn’t have ‘time’ to do it. At this point my feet are soaking, we’ve been there for 1.5 hours and now they are telling us that they have NO time to do our nails — are you F*cking kidding me !!! This was the most ridiculous thing I ever !!! Insanely unprofessional to a point that it’s unbelievable.
Don’t even think about going here … They don’t have any good polishes and the service is beyond awful ! Not worth it at all … Not even one bit — take your money elsewhere.

Eyebrow lady is good (that’s what the 2 stars are for) but it’s dirty! They literally dip the same stick into the wax which I know for a fact is against health regulations, but you get what you pay for.

the salon is filthy. all the shops on Passaic street owned by them are so dirty. Foxy nails, funky nails and foxy nails II. they do not sterilize any instruments, there is hair from waxing laying around on the strips. all Their salon are filthy. honestly I do not know how they get away with it.
there are much nicer cleaner salons every where.

This place is sooooooo dirty! There were white slimy worms swimming I the water for pedicures! Good thing I always wait for them to fill before I put my feet in. So gross! God I wanted to vomit. They are disgusting!

The Guy that did my mails did an amazing job but I wanted a design which was not complicated. I wanted dices. They recommended me to go to another nail salon.

Nice affordable place with a friendly staff. They own 4 nail salons within a 2 block radius, they are usually pretty busy on the weekends (lucky owner) so I recommend to go on a weekday.

Recommended by a co-​worker. Vietnamese owned place. Cheap price; $ 22 for mani & pedi. Only gripe is they don’t use sterilized utensils and no massage. :/​
They get really busy, kinda understaffed so one worker end up working on multiple customers at once resulting in customers waiting a long time. They are really nice and they don’t bother you. One of the guys doesn’t do anything just rinse the sink and sit there watch tv and talk to the other workers in their language while customers waited which looked and sounded comical.
All in all, it was a good experience cuz my nails look fabulous (as seen in the picture)!

I just moved to NJ and was trying to find a new nail salon for solar nail refills, so I gave Foxy Nails a shot. I will not be going back. The man who did my nails drilled my cuticles and made them bleed, and would not listen to me when I said what shape I wanted. He just kept telling me that square would look better on my hands, even though I asked for rounded. I walked out of the salon with cut up cuticles, square nails, with the white half-​way down my nail bed. Also, there is a weird texture to my nails (they’re rough) and dull — he would not buff them and just put clear polish on top. I had taken a picture on my phone to show them exactly how I liked my nails done — all they had to do was copy it!
In addition, this is probably one of the dirtiest/​messiest nail salons I have ever seen.
