Ventris Trail’s End Resort

We were looking for a place to stay near Pea Ridge NMP and were having difficulty finding something beyond a motel room nearby. We were travelling with our toddler and two basset hounds. While Ventris is not technically ‘pet friendly,’ they did allow us to stay with our 2 dogs, with a pet deposit, because it was the off season. So if you’re not travelling in the middle of July, it’s worth asking. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was clean & comfortable. The bed was comfy, the water pressure was good, and the water in the bathroom was hot. Oddly enough, we’ve stayed lots of places where this is not the case. Is it the most modern facility? No, but we would definitely stay there again. The apartments had full kitchens with everything you need to cook. There’s a table in the kitchen, and another outside on the covered deck, along with a grill (both charcoal & propane grills) & porch swing. The view of the lake is gorgeous, as is the sunrise.
