This is a five star breakfast place. The owner corns his own corned beef and it shows in the corned beef and hash. They make fresh cheese biscuits and a amazing gravy(my wife even said it’s better than her father’s, and that’s saying something). The belgian waffles come out sweet on their own and my son loved them both with jam and maple syrup. It’s a small place, just seven or eight tables. The menu is short, but with the great stuff listed on it the decisions are still hard. Coffee is fresh and self serve off next to the register. When we got there the cinnamon rolls weren’t ready yet; they’d just finished rising from being made that morning and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to bake. That’s fresh. I’m going to visit this place even if I’m just driving through town.

I feel bad writing this because the people were super friendly, but I’m sooooo bummed that we spent the last of our budgeted eat-out money here. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was just tasteless(even with the American cheese slices melted on top), though I should probably take some responsibility for ordering a mon-Irish item at an Irish restaurant. But my husband ordered the Reuben, and there’s no excuse for how wrong that was. It was mostly bread and sauce, and was horribly bland. We definitely saw sauerkraut on there, but couldn’t taste it at all, even when we ate it on its own. We didn’t complain because things were priced pretty low, but I would never eat there again and I’m shocked by the high ratings this place has. I can only assume it’s changed hands since the good reviews were written. It’s actually been a wile since I’ve had food this bad and now I have no cash left to try something else.

Every once in a while things just dont come together. Rude servuce and bad food are not a good combination. I got the Rubin, which is their best seller. It sucked, see photos. The wife had clam chowder which ws not good at all. I left half a sandwich, which I never do, and my wife I offered her uneaten chowder, which I passed on. on a pisitive note, the Potatoe salid was very good. Will never return.

We are traveling for a long weekend and found this amazing local place to enjoy lunch and watch the boats come and go from the harbor. Best of all a delicious Rueben with homemade potato salad! Definitely will be sharing with our family and friends who travel through this area and will return on future visits!

Awesome food! Breakfast is served ALL day till they close at 2pm. I asked for corned beef hash with no onions and it was no problem. That shows that the food is cooked fresh and to order. My husband had the Doug’s plate(HUGE) with a biscuit. We are here for a week so we’ll definitely go back for more!

Delicious… Delicious and delicious! This little café is amazing! They have a small menu of breakfast options on one side and lunch on the other. The food portions are good, but one less table inside would be better. Eggs Benedict, country fried steak, corned beef hash, a breakfast burrito and cinnamon French toast were ordered. I suggest getting a homemade biscuit instead of a side of toast. Yum!

Wow. Great breakfast. I had the corned beef hash. Wonderful. On a par with the hash I’ve had on the east coast, except this is in rural Oregon. Best I’ve had in years. My wife had dougs breakfast plate. A meat plate with hash browns. Another wonderful meal. Meat and potatoes lovers will swoon! Lastly do not leave till you order a cinnamon roll… decadent. Wonderful people, really welcoming!

My son’s and I love this place. They were excellent at modifying the meals to satisfy dietary needs. Everything was made fresh. Customer service was excellent, interactive and fun. The food was magnificent. Between the three of us, we had corned beef hash with eggs, corned beef eggs Benedict with fruit and Sheppard’s pie. Amazing and memorable.

I’m still sitting here still woofing down my breakfasy with my wife while she’s finishing her lunch on Easter Sunday. We were finishing off a lovely Oregon Coast weekend away. We were greeted by Doug the owner and Janet both relaxing as we were the only one at the moment in their nice cozy place. Right near the harbor. I had their famous corned beef and hash plus a half order of biscuits and gravy. Awesome is an understatement. My wife had the Shepards Pie. Again very tasty! We will come back. You have to try this place… great people and great food that you can watch Doug prepare. Youll also your get some nice chit chat from two lovely folks!

We were on the most holy quest for excellent breakfast grub on the Oregon coast. The quest was grueling, but Unilocalers led us the way to this eatery of epicness. The combination of phenomenal irish corned beef with breakfast dishes may seem unholy at first. But your taste buds will sing its praises. My lady and I shared the bountiful corney breakfast burrito and corned beef eggs Benedict while our 2 year devoured the irish french toast and potatoes. The Irish lass who cooked this feast came to each table to see how we were enjoying the feast, gave my daughter crayons, and treated us like part of the family. The mumbles from food filled heads must have given her a clue. Skip the ho hum and over priced joints, hit the port of Garibaldi and end your quest for the Holy grail of breakfast on the Oregon coast!

The breakfast was solid and inexpensive. We didn’t try anything creative… I had the eggs, potatoes and links for $ 7.50. The place is clean and somewhat charming(good layout including being able to see them prepare your food). What stands out is the exceptional service. The conversation wasn’t forced and the servers(my guess is owners) seemed genuinely interested in feedback. I’ll be back and next time I’ll probably try something Irish(food that is).

CORNEDBEEFBURRITOS?! say no more, just put them in my mouth. They were infuckingcredible. I am sure they have other delicious things there, but I’ve just never had anything like it. The size of a small baby, mostly open-faced, this burrito was filled with the best-tasting corned beef and other magic. I couldn’t finish it in one go, but the half leftovers in the afternoon kept its magical properties. The other wonderful part of this place is the service. Dude and I went on an early Sunday morning, which wasn’t particularly crowded but it was a bit chilly so no one else was sitting outside. I felt bad asking to sit outside because it was extra work for them, but they made us feel like it was absolutely no trouble, and our server(the co-owner/host) made great conversation with us. He was so genuine and friendly, it just made everything even more lovely. It’s also just a really nice place to sit out and eat, right next to the water with boats gently swaying in the wind. I remember taking a mental picture of the whole experience, because I was incredibly happy and want to use it for future«I need a happy place» moments.
