I am very dissatisfied with my experience with
. They sold me dimmable light bulbs, the light bulbs would strobe while dimmed, and then they made me pay for return shipping to send the bulbs back (and obviously did not refund the initial shipping charges). In the end, I paid about $ 25 and received nothing for it other than the headache of having to return these bulbs.
I do not recommend doing business with
due to their customer service policy. They claimed it must be something with my dimmer, certainly not their light bulbs. Yet the previous incandescent bulbs worked perfectly fine. Hmmm… I wonder what the problem could be?

There are plenty of bulb stores on the Internet. Pick any of them but this one. I recently ordered some Christmas lights. There were 4 bulbs that were defective. They refused to replace them.
Cheap move.

I placed a fairly large order with 1000 bulbs and received them all quickly. Unfortunately, one of the bulbs was broken on arrival. The company immediately offered to either send a new one or credit me for the broken bulb. Great service all around!

Very Bad Return Policy!
I am a contractor and I purchased a number of things from this company for a large lighting project.
We purchased several hundred dollars of specific replacement lighting ballasts as per my electrician but the order was not quite what he wanted and we needed to exchange the shipment for the correct AND more expensive ones.
They made us pay a 20% restocking fee in addition to the return shipping and of course the original shipping — what a loss — and what a surprise from an online business!
I decided not to order the replacements from them and never do business with them again.
I am VERY glad I did because the exact item I wanted was considerably cheaper elsewhere on the internet and it came with a great return policy.
These guys do not deserve any business!

For my 100^th Unilocal review, I wanted three things:
1) something unique & unusual (that nobody else had thought to review),
2) something that I could easily give 5 stars,
3) something that would be a great value & benefit other Unilocalers.
Bingo! A light went off in my head! (metaphorically speaking, of course)
I’d bought rope lights at Home Depot for years in 25′ lengths, mostly for outdoor lighting, but when they burned out over time and I’d go back to replace them, HD had a different supplier and the color wasn’t «warm white» but a cold, ghastly «artic» white which didn’t match all the other rope lights! (Imagine an incandescent light next to a fluorescent and you get the picture!) I’ve got a 100′ long driveway which is very dark at night and the last thing I want is mis-​matched lights guiding me home after a night «out-​on-​the-​town»!!
Since I struck out w/​HD, I turned to Amazon who not only filled my «warm-​white» rope light requirement but their supplier turned out to be (drum roll please…) the largest rope light supplier in North America! I got 150′ length of rope lights which usually cost $ 150 — $ 200 for only $ 86! S/​H INCLUDED! Now that’s a deal!

After learning of
, I placed several order for different kinds of bulbs (mostly incandescent, and halogen). In several categories of bulbs,
offers «long life» bulbs, which are supposed to offer anywhere from half again more hours of lighting, to more than twice as many hours of lighting. Because some of the bulbs I purchased were being installing in very difficult locations, I opted for the longer life bulbs. Not only were the bulbs NOT longer life, but in some cases they burned out within only 1 – 3 months! Not nearly as long as a standard bulb would have lasted! Their primary brand of bulb seems to be the Satco brand, which seems to not last nearly as long as any of the regular brand of bulb, whether it is a Satco «long life» bulb, or whether it is just their standard bulb. I will definitely NOT be ordering any more bulbs from

Placed an order on ⁷⁄₁₄ for 25 CFLs. Checked status two weeks later and was told due to a botched warehouse move shipping was delayed but would go out in a couple days. Checked status a week after that and told item was on backorder, would arrive on ⁸⁄₁₂. Checked on ⁸⁄₁₂ and they confirmed product had arrived but would take two days to inventory before shipping. Checked on ⁸⁄₁₇ and told no the item had not arrived (contrary to earlier claim) and was further backordered to ⁸⁄₂₆. That’s when I gave up and cancelled the order.

Placed my first (last) order with this company about a month ago. It was never fulfilled. About a week or so after placing the order, I was told that they had just moved and that it didn’t go so well but to expect my order to ship out the next week. I didn’t need the items immediately so was happy to wait (since their prices were decent). Long story short is about a month on, all communications with this one rep there ceased forcing me to call and leave a message. My call was returned some 3 days later with the suggestion «I’m afraid we should just cancel it. I think the items are in the warehouse but we just can’t locate them.»
This smells of them not wanting to fulfill my order because it was either too small or too difficult… the net being that it was obvious that my business was not important to them.
A shameful and poor representation of how to do business over the ‘net. Avoid this place.
