The interior living space is satisfactory; not anything terrific. The service provided by the customer service people in the customer service office on the first floor is very poor. It feels like each one of them is under the impression you work for them and not the other way around. The garage is a nightmare 50% of the time. During the weekday those awful City of Garland employees park within the lower levels instead of the upper and rooftop levels; extremely inconvenient to the paying tenants. Great proximity to the Dart Rail; less than a 30 minute ride to Downtown Dallas. Satisfactory maintenance of the grounds. I moved here to care for a loved one in the area, would not have moved to 5^th Street under ANY OTHER condition. Its just Meh.

Not a bad place to live at all. Some of the tenents are not so nice and tend to cause overly dramatic issues. Parking is hell! I’m handicap and people take handicap space without placards. The Garland employees that share the garage during the work week are not considerate at all! My SUV has been hit twice and I was almost hit by a car walking to my vehicle because the Garland employees drive at excessive speeds in the garage. Very nice ameneties and staff seems very nice. Less than pleasant individuals coming and going from the DART train station tend to also roam the garages multiple levels since there is open access to the stairwells all hours of the night. My car was broken into once and the office said they would review the camera since my car was in view. Never heard anything back and staff changed caused the issue to fall through the cracks. «dog friendly» community but very few grassy places to actually take your dog. Overall it has been a positive experience here and I would recommend it to others. A lot of reviewers hate the noise from the trains, but it’s actually not that loud and our unit is right above the tracks. It’s weirdly calming to hear the train come through. Great amenities — the gym has ellipticals, treadmills, dumbbells and a universal pully machine plus a large TV and smaller tvs on each machine. The pool is huge and has a cool 6 inch deep sundeck area. Then there’s the courtyard with the gas fire pit for the cooler months. There are a couple grills for tenant use as well. Internet Café with two computers and a printer open most of the time. The apartment itself is great. wood-​like laminate floors in the kitchen, dining and living room Shaggy carpet in the bed /​bath rooms. Personally I love being close to the train and bus station. I’m considering selling one of our cars since I take the train to work.
