I stopped wearing nails after moving away from Dallas two years ago. I was in town for New Years eve and wanted a manicure. Avolon Nails was near my hotel. The greeting was warm and friendly and I was seated next to Nickie and watched her work. The Ladys’ nails were so pretty I decided that after six months I wanted my nails back. They are so beautiful and look natural. They looked even better after my first fill. I now drive 182 miles because Nickies’ craftsmanship and artistry is worth every mile. Thanks Nickie for taking a walk in, I’m yours forever!

I absolutely adore Nikki and her family. For about 11 years I went to the same nail tech. She unfortunately got sick and had to stop working. After trying a few other techs at my old place and the random areas in Addison/North Dallas, my husband told me to try the nail salon down by his job. I’ve been making the drive from Addison to Rowlett ever since. Nikki is super friendly and such a perfectionist. She’s also extremely creative. Most times I just get a nude color with my full set or fill, but sometimes I just let her do her thing color or design wise. Whatever she wants. It always comes out great. I’ve shown her pictures of different things I want to try and she does it perfectly every time. That woman can seriously do anything you ask. She’s so worth the drive for me. *just a little note — At the time of this review Avalon is closed due to a family emergency, but they will be back at the end of October. After having to go to another place and having a horrible experience it reminded me how much I appreciate the great service and even sense of friendship I have here. I will just take my nails off and never get them done again before I ever let anyone besides Nikki do them.
