While in the process of purchasing my first place, the home inspection revealed a drop in the floor of one corner of the house. So we needed a structural engineer out to check the situation and advise on possible repairs.
My realtor suggested Mike Cooper, as he’d used him many times in the past and luckily we were able to schedule him, since he’s usually booked 1 – 2 weeks out or more.
Mike arrived when scheduled and went right to work. Provided a full report on the entire house, not just the possible affected area. Found that the affected area had dropped almost 2 inches. So now we are in the process of having that corrected.
Very professional report produced explaining things in «non technical speak» so I could understand it.
Cost of his service was a very reasonable $ 310. WELL worth the price as I’ll be moving into the house in December. Knowing the foundation is in great shape will bring some peace of mind, considering the amount of money I’ve just spent!
