What do you say when you strike gold… EUREKA!

I’ve been getting my hair cut since I moved to Dallas, and I refuse to go anywhere else! Great hair cut and a fair price. Go see Amy, she’s great!

The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of is because I’ve never had my hair done. I am a HUGE fan of the massage therapist, Eureka. I’m not talking about Massage Envy-​style therapy; this woman knows her stuff. She’s happy to explain things going on with your body and the affected muscles, or just let you lay there and relax and enjoy the rub.
As someone who struggles with almost constant back muscle spasms, I know a good massage therapist when I feel one. If you hunt for those deep tissue gods and goddesses but no one ever quite hits the mark, I urge you to give Eureka a try. I’m usually a little skeptical of women, simply because it takes quite a bit of strength and stamina to get in deep into my knotted muscles, but make no mistake, this gal can do it! This unassuming little salon hosts one of the best deep tissue/​healing massages I’ve ever received and as long as I’m in Dallas, I’ll never venture anywhere else.
I will warn you: only cash and personal checks are accepted. I hope they update that so that you can pay with your card soon.
