This is a good place to bring your recycling… good customer service and the pay out is decent

New at recycling. Went to encore recyclers for the first time and the place was much cleaner than I would expect for this kind of operation. Friendly service, in and out fast and quick cash. I recommend them for anyone looking to make extra cash off of scrap metal.

The employees here were very friendly and I had every reason to recommend this place. Unfortunately after checkout, I realized they paid me 25% less a pound less than what the gentleman at the weigh station said they would pay. The difference was maybe only $ 5 but when the manager came out to ask if there was an issue, I explained that before weighing and fully unloading I was given one rate and after I emptied the contents things changed. I gave him a chance to honor the quote explaining that my only recourse was to reload 1000# of metal back in my truck (which I didn’t wish to do) or take their bait and switch and have a negative experience. He seemed ok with the 2^nd option so I figured I should give other Unilocal users the heads up. At least one competitor is literally next door if you want options.
