Do not come here if you want to use voucher. They will BS and say it expired and will not accept it. Don’t be a sucker. They could have post a sign saying it is not accepted. I noticed the customers ate out of styrofoam plates. They do not serve Mondongo soups during the weekdays.

So good, will definitely go back! It is authentic. There were so many locals there. The service was great and the waitress was friendly although her English very limited. The food was fresh and made to order. They were a little skimpy on the beans. They were so good I wanted more. This place is worth a try. You will be hooked.

For this gringa who knows nothing about Honduras, but I am married to one, we have been around to many Honduran restaurants who run down the culture of food and service, but this place is authentic, and very fresh and excellent taste and portions are big. Just a heads up, they cook everything fresh, so call ahead of time or be prepared to wait longer than most restaurants.

I have gone for breakfast, their BALIADAS are soooo good fresh flour tortilla and their café con leche is so good and creamy! just like mama used to make.

I agree with Miguel P. No frills – a roll of paper towels instead of napkins, Topo Chico out of the bottle – but the food is very good. Sadly, the Mi Cocina owners of HP Village fame are suing this poor family for trademark infringement. So go try it out, not only to get some unique, good tasting food, but to display your support for this restaurant.

It’s an authentic place so much so that i did’nt know what alot of the items were. I went for what i know and always order, pupusas. These delicious fried goodies are made out of cornmeal stuffed with cheese, beans and cheese, or shredded pork and cheese. We order 1 of each which came with white rice, black refried beans, and curtido(cabagge and carrot marinated in vinegar salad) all for $ 7.99. Along with a bottle of water and banana soda our bill was judt under $ 20.

This is an amazing authentic Honduran restaurant. Its not supposed to have frills. if your looking for unauthentic generic and overpriced food try MiCocina or Glorias. If you’re looking for the real deal you found the perfect spot. They have some amazing seafood, my favorite being the Mariscada. this is a seafood stew with coconut milk base, shrimp, crab and the central american signature fried plantian and yuca! Delicious! The Balleadas are also great!

I give it 3.5 stars. This is no-frills restaurant, with plastic forks and knives and plates, that serves authentic Honduran food. For those who are uninitiated it is a cross between Peruvian and Mexican. This is the first Honduran restaurant that I have seen in the Dallas area. It means that some of the foods are similar but the dishes are prepared differently. For example, the wife got enchiladas that seemed to have a hard taco shell on the bottom, and had fresh tomato and a boiled egg on top. It was covered in red sauce and a very sharp shredded cheese which I am guessing is goat cheese. The restaurant is modest but clean. The restrooms were clean. We went for lunch on a Saturday and after we sat down there was a pretty good crowd that followed us. I got an order of papusus – 3 to an order – for $ 6.99. it came with rice and beans, both of which had good flavor. Good deal. I liked everything a lot. The papusus were flavorful and did not need sour cream or any other condiment. I think I like Peruvian a bit better and would return to El Salvador or Santa Rosa. Still, this was a good experience and I am not sorry that we tried it. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is homemade. My main reason for 3.5 stars is the no frills atmosphere and plasticware.
