We bought a Morgan Spa after having known of them for the years we lived in Beumont, Texas. In Feb 2012 our hot tub was ordered(by regional mgr. Steve McFaddin) May 2012 still no spa. The salesman we orginally started with had left before we even got our spa. I cannot count the number of calls we made to get our delivery. Seems they have a little problem with communication and management at Morgans and overpromising and under delivering. One probelm then another. Over sold backed up on orders, mfg of the acrylic that pours the lining of the spas out of busines or some other issue. We went in person to home office in Garland, Texas all that we found there was a woman who was taking endless call and complaints. NOONE was there who sit in the big chairs. They were out selling more spas that they cannot deliver. Left and sent a registered letter to Home Office THEN got a call from Jim Shiligo. The typical salesman himself. Blah, Blah okay he got involved and barked at some folks. Finally we get a spa but without the LED lights. So we agreed to wait and they agreed to reorder the one we wanted with lights. I loved how the quality control person signed off on the checklist that everything was as ordered. Brought that to show Mr. Shilligo. They do a lot of headscratching over there. I think it was July we finally get a hot tub. February to July? Really? Forget asking for your money back to go elsewhere. *** READTHECONTRACTBEFOREYOUSIGN** You are so screwed on that if you sign expect they got your money and you will just get lots of baloney when the problems start to come up and they wil come up. Technician comes out he doesn’t know what he is talking about said the foot well was not doing what it was supposed to. Mr. Shilligo said he was wrong. My summation is this: why did we have to go through one Regional Manager the Head Sales Manager and endless phone calls to get one Hot Tub done right and finally delivered after five months. It was supposed to takes 6 weeks. After the Hot Tub was Delivered it took them three months of endless phone calls to get our Tax Refund from the state for Medical reasons. At this point Shilligo does’t call me back as he said he would when I called. Again, we were faced with the person we spoke to last was not there any longer. The Service Mgr who had been there 18 years had also left. Makes you wonder when companies have that kind of turnover. Being in business for 50 years as they like to tell you does not impress me. Doing what you say you are going to do with quality, truth, and integrity does. I would set my expectations low if you decide to buy from Morgan’s for a Spa. Be prepared for lots of excuses and lots of empty promises and a world of frustration in your life.
