Motel 6

Vastly Improved thanks to New Manager Nishal
I was affected by recent tornado and have stayed at this Motel 6 before. Admittedly it was not well kept back then and there were sometimes some unsavory types there.
Nishal, the manager went out of his way to make me comfortable. And he was one of the nicest employees I have ever met at Motel 6.
My room had been nicely upgraded and was much nicer than the old Motel 6.
This is not the Marriott, but for someone on a budget my chihuahuas and I will stay at this motel again as long as Nishal is in charge.

Absolutely HATE it, the room smelled horrible, the shower was dirty, there was cigarette burns in the covers and the worse thing about it was I saw a bug on my pillow when I woke up and had bug bites all over my arms!!! Ridiculous!

I HATE this hotel. After staying a few times I finally was completely fed up.
The room was NASTY.
Check in is at 3, I checked in at 3:30. The man downstairs told me to give them an hour to have a clean room. I come back at 5:30 and the guy was still in my room. After I told him that I was ready to come into the room he told me it was ready.
I came in, sat my things down and noticed the bed wasn’t made. All it had was the top cover, not even a single sheet.
The toilet had piss all over it, there was no clean towels and a dirty one in the corner.
There was dirt ALL over the floor. And the shower had hairs all over the walls.
It took 20mins for someone to come clean my room AGAIN. After the women were done they told me «Sorry this best we could do» worst thing is, it was still dirty.
If I hadn’t already paid I would have left.
NASTY DIRTY!

This place is dirty. Relatively cheap, but certainly not clean. I was concerned about bugs!

We stayed here spur of the moment instead of driving late back to East Texas. It was cold outside and the heater would not work. It was absolutely freezing in the room all night. Additionally, the traffic noise was incredibly loud — not their fault of course — but perhaps they could have offered an interior room. Our room was facing I-​30 and there was no sleep for us with the cold and the noise. We left before it got light out.
