Really good food. Inexpensive, tasty and always fresh. Chips and salsa are perfect. Quesadillas are great very delicious and cheesy. I have not had a bad meal here yet. Probably go at least once a week. Just need to add some margaritas to the place.

My father in law is obsessed with this place. I don’t know why. The food is «okay».

Good food and service. Often pick up the sour cream chicken enchiladas for dinner and it’s always good.

It was my first visit. The Tex-Mex enchiladas were quite good. The waitress was new, but did an outstanding job. I was in and out of the restaurant in less than 30 minutes on a Monday night.

Terrible service when we visited at night… Very disappointed. Long wait to get sat, server barely spoke English, felt like we were bothering her we did need stuff, was ignored for side work. Could also near server talking in the kitchen, about us. Embarrassing. Will give another chance during the day… maybe…

The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. Chips and salsa from heaven. The enchiladas are to die for. I love this place. The only bad thing is that they are no longer open on sunday. But that just makes Mondays better. You can’t go wrong, please support this restaurant, as I plan to eat here for years to come.

Norma’s is always a great place to eat good tex mex. I am a regular customer, and to be honest, I believe their food and salsa to be better than all of the large corporate chain mexican food places. I typically get the fajitas or enchiladas and they never disappoint. Sometimes, the service could be a little better as far as refills, but they do a good job over all. I will continue coming to this restaurant forever.

This place has the most amazing salsa I’ve ever had! No joke! My husband and I had stopped here to eat lunch one weekend and still talk about their salsa to this day. He had even asked the waitress(who barely spoke English) the recipe for the salsa, and we think she said it was a secret family recipe or she didn’t understand the question at all. Either way, just keep on making that salsa! I wasn’t too thrilled about the enchiladas I ordered, but that salsa definitely makes up for it. I hope to return to try out their other dishes and of course, their salsa!

BYOB. Chimichanga was simple meat and cheese and fantastic. Good chips, great salsa, and queso with meat. Good, fast service. Regret I didn’t get horchata.

Authentic family operated place serving good food at reasonable prices. However, service is slow, almost lazy. And no liquor license. Overall a good place to eat but I never tip more than 10%.

Visiting from out of state. Went on a Friday night. It was packed but still got seated in a reasonable time. Staff very friendly. Chips were fresh, salsa great, queso dip good. I ordered the fajita burrito beef. I suggest getting the chili topping. It was really good. Rice and beans were good.

Oh my gosh. Just finished eating and I am soooo full. Salsa is spicy, but delicious. Horchata is amazing! I ordered the chimichanga and my gf got the fajita burrito. Both delicious! Wasn’t thrilled on the queso. Service was great. Seems to be a small family restaurant. The drink cups are huge… which is nice. I would recommend them. Way better than Ernesto’s(didn’t care much for that one).

One of my favorite things about working in Garland was working down the street from this hidden treasure of a restaurant! The hot sauce is so good, I could make a meal off of just that!

I love the food here! I’m pretty picky when it comes to TexMex food. Norma’s has really authentic food and it is reasonably priced. The fajitas, flautas and chicken enchilada verde are some of my favorites! The tortillas are freshly made and the hot sauce is really good too.

I’ve been coming here for 10+ years. Very friendly staff and have never had bad service here. The food is very consistent, always hot and fresh. I love the queso and have tried a lot of their menu items over the years. The tacos al carbon and their enchiladas are my favorite. I love that it’s BYOB and you never feel rushed here. Oh and they have large glasses for your iced tea which my dad loves! Give Norma’s a try!

Norma’s is one of my favorite restaurants and we have been going here for years! They bring you warm chips and homemade salsa immediately and its delicious. Their sweet tea is always perfect and they bring all the food out fast. They are always friendly and get picky orders correct. Their prices are great and affordable for such delicious food. Love it!

Above average Tex-Mex with fast, friendly service. The beef con carne enchilada was especially good. Beef taco was decent, rice and refried beans were better. The chips were warm and crispy, with good salsa. All for less than $ 6 on the lunch menu.

Despite the disturbing mural on the wall, the food was just ok The enchilada was nice on a sizzling plate. The chips and salsa was ehhh. The steak ranchero was ok. The beef fajitas were season-less and flat out boring. We had to dr them up just to consume them. The sopapillas were just dry donuts with the lightest amount of sugar and cinnamon. I had to actual look to see if there was any at all. I seriously could have counted the sugar crystals. Had to ask for more. She came back to add more and gave them 1 sprinkle and was about to walk away. Now I see why the had so little in the first place. They did have a sign on the door saying waitress needed… Also my girl needed to use the restroom but didn’t because there was poop on the toilet.
