Avoid this location at all costs. They never have enough staff. I have used the Copy and Print Depot 5 times in the last few months and every time I was in line for more than 20 minutes, even though I called to make sure my order was ready before I arrived. The hassle and stress is not worth it. I have never even been apologized to.

I’m not really sure why when there are three people standing behind a counter in the copy area only one can help customers. I stood there for 15 minutes watching one woman help two people in front of me while another employee shuffled paper around and a third dug in her purse. I’m even more frustrated that they couldn’t spiral bind my job and completely blew me off. I used to work at a copy place and know this job was doable. I won’t be back and I think the customer service was extremely poor.

Went into the store last week to buy a new computer desk chair for my dad. He had just come home from the hospital, can’t drive, and needed something with a little more padding. So I spent 30 minutes walking around the store waiting on someone to ask me if I needed help. When I finally tracked down what seemed to be a manager, she wasn’t much help, and I left and went to target while they figured it out. Came back 20 min later and it was ready to go. And it was a pricey chair, so you’re welcome. I unloaded the box into my dads garage so that his friend could come put it together for him on christmas. I had to come back to Illinois where I am stationed. My dad just sent me a photo of the chair all together. Thanks a lot, Office Depot. You gave me the wrong color. Thankfully it’s comfortable enough that it will work.

I’ve lived in this area for 14 years and have shopped here off and on, Everyone there is always friendly and helpful. I usually buy my computers online or at Best Buy but thought I would give Office Depot a try. I have to share the awesome experience I had with this store, namely the managers Teresa and Hank, I purchased a Toshiba laptop that was defective after about 2.5 weeks, which was outside of their 14 day return policy so I had to ship it to Toshiba direct, The backing of the screen was coming undone as well as one of the hinges that mounts the monitor to the computer/keyboard was loosening up. Toshiba was wanting to charge me $ 340 to fix it. They said they needed to replace the whole monitor. I inquired about simply fixing the two items I mentioned above and they kept repeating the whole monitor needs to be replaced, period. I refused to pay that much for a 2.5 week old laptop that I am so careful with. I decided to try to get some help from where I purchased it. When I approached Teresa, she was very understanding, patient and listened very well. You can tell she has had extensive training in customer service skills. She said she would take it up with Toshiba and her manager, Hank, if needed. A few days later Hank called me up and asked me to give a brief synopsis of what happened so I told him. He said even though this is really Toshiba’s responsibility, he would be more than happy to exchange it because he didn’t want me to have any bad feelings towards Office Depot. That is simply 5 star customer service. This time I also bought the 2 year Office Depot. protection plan. It covers everything, including dropping it, spilling liquids on it, etc. Just as a side note, my father inlaw purchased a laptop at another big retailer(that I won’t name) because it was very inexpensive. About a month into it he stared having problems with it as well(outside of the 14 day return). He had to work directly with the manufacturer and encountered the same problems I did. He tried to go back to the retailer and they told him he is out of luck, I told him my experience with Office Depot and he was very impressed and will remember that the next time he buys any electronics.

Its an Office Depot so it is the same anywhere you go as far as product. The difference here is lack of service. My hubby and I wandered looking for envelopes and could not find a person to direct us to save our life. When I finally found someone, he grunted an pointed. Gee thanks. Not impressed!
