Good taste. This has been my favorite pizza place. Lately, The only way you can get enough toppings on your pizza is to buy extra. very chintzy with the toppings. If you spend the money for extra toppings it is much better. Just very is not cooked very well even if you asked for welt done. it is kind of pasty on the bottom I’m not sure why that is. Only about the last two months. I only eat the pizza. thank you for reading my review I do enjoy this pizza very much most of the time. I usually have to put it in the oven to get the crust well done.

As a person who grew up on pizza in Philadelphia, this one is pretty good. Good quality ingredients, good flavor. I recommend. I know these locations are franchises, but I think the parent company needs to do more work on their website, though. Items like the Sicilian are on the site menu, but not available in Texas. Some toppings on the site are crossed out at the store. «Carryout» specials on the board, but not on the site. Good incentive to bring people in the door. If anything, have separate menus, per location.

Friendly staff and really delicious pizza. Although a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Best pizza ever! I tried the combo and bacon cheeseburger. They were both equally great. I would suggest to get the XL if you’re thinking about getting a large, you will definitely want some leftovers later!

Really upset by my service tonight. I use olive oils all the time because their pizza is wonderful– however tonight I got put on hold by the same girl 3 times for over 5 minutes each time and I could hear her pick up other people’s calls and take their orders. Then when I finally placed my order with a man who happened to pick up the phone when she refused to, I waited an hour and a half and still no pizza– I call back and the SAMEGIRL said«someone called and changed your order to pickup.» Which is false– and then said«well someone just left with it so it’ll be 10 more minutes». So i ordered my pizza at 6, from a place half a mile away — and I won’t be able to eat it until 8 o’clock??? And when I asked if I could get a discount or refund or credit or ANYTHING she said«no– we got busy». Completely unacceptable customer service– and I’m sad to say you’ll probably lose my business over it.

I saw Olive Oil’s last night while waiting on my husband to run into Kroger for a bottle of wine. I was sitting in the car right outside the restaurant. We were on our way home so I called and placed the order right there in the car. The store was empty. A gentleman answered, took my order along with my address and payment info then he advised 35 – 45 minutes delivery time. This was 7:23PM. At 8:09PM I got a call from a lady saying that they had just looked up my address and found me to be out of the delivery range. I was pretty shocked given it was passed the time the pizza was to have arrived. The very unapologetic girl on the phone told me to call the Richardson location they were closer. I asked why they didn’t call me sooner as it had already been an hour. She had no excuse, made no effort to retain my business. No offer to deliver the pizza I had been waiting on for an hour for an extra charge. Nothing. Just call Richardson she said. Well I mapped the Richardson location after I placed an order with Pizza Hut and it’s 16.9 miles from my house while the Garland store is 5.6 miles from my house. I called today to ask the delivery radius which is 4 miles. Clearly outside the range but you think they would have noticed that BEFORE they charged my credit card, before they told me I could have a pizza and before I left the parking lot because I would have happily waited 15 – 20 minutes for it to bake if it meant waiting an hour to be told order a pizza from somewhere else so I could wait another hour to feed my husband dinner. I wish I could tell you whether or not the pizza was good or whether it was piping hot. But I can’t I can just tell you that extremely poor customer service lost a pizza loving first timer’s business without ever serving me a pizza.

I have been going to the pizza place for years and absolutely love it. My usual is the mushroom pizza. The sauce and crust are so addictive. I have only had one somewhat bad experience in the 6 years I have been going to the place. I had to wait nearly 45 minutes for my order because of a large order that was placed before mine. The apologized and gave me an extra pizza for my inconvenience. He made it right so I left satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

«Betta than ya Italian grandmothas pizza!!!» Just don’t tell her!!! **ok, I have a lot of good things to say about this place. I have been a loyal customer, since moving here, in ’98 from PA/NJ.** REAL east coast PIZZA. The owner is Italian, and originally from PA, so he really knows how to make real handmade pizza. The dough is made fresh everyday, along with their tomato sauce. They offer all sizes, toppings, and specials, so call, or check their website. I have introduced Olive Oils pizza — to friends and co-workers, and they are now hooked as well! They have so many great things to choose from on their menu.(That is, If you ever can get enough of their amazing pizza) our favorites– pepperoni extra cheese, and a white pizza — with garlic butter sauce, topped with artichoke hearts and extra cheese! A MUST — the pasta dishes! The baked ravioli portion is enough to share, and topped with melted mozzarella.(very low fat :-) ok, well no. But you could just eat the side salad and garlic bread that accompanies the meal. Also, try the shrimp fettuccine(white cream sauce with a touch of garlic) Did I mention massive hoagies?(Subs, here in TX) The freshly made roll, is stuffed with so much lunch meat! it’s like a «double order of meat» — at that chain sub place. You know, the one where Jerod seems to frequent. **try the Italian hoagie, and roast beef with swiss!** plus***REAL philly cheesesteaks… this was the first thing I tried — back in ’98. I knew it was a true authentic Philly style. «no bell pepper on the cheesesteaks». JUSTMEAT, CHEESE, SAUTÉEDONIONSON A HOMEMADEROLL!!! Desserts too! My daughters favorite– Death by chocolate cake. Layers of moist chocolate cake, with chocolate cream, topped with more chocolate cream and pieces of shaved chocolate. However, I dont care for chocolate. My fav. Tiramisu !! I refuse to share!(Italian cream cake– layers of white sponge cake, with cream inside– flavored with cocoa, and expresso.(Order two, trust me, you WON’T WANTTOSHAREEITHER!) I think they also have NY cheesecake. Olive Oils is a small take out restaurant, but they do have a few café tables inside, if you just cannot wait to eat at home. They offer free delivery in limited areas. Average time for 30 – 45 mins. Depending on the day of week, and time of day. But again, if you just can’t wait, they can prepare your order in 15 minutes, and you can go pick it up. They also have now added a location in Richardson. I have not been there yet, but I’m sure it’s just as great as the North Garland — Beltline and I-30 location.

New to the neighborhood, I received coupons from this place and I am all about supporting independent restaurants instead of big chains so I decided to give it a try. Their menu has a wide variety of specialty pizza, including some really cool ones like the muffuletta and the cajun one with crawfish and shrimp on top. I decided to try the bacon cheeseburger pizza. I also ordered a small cheesy bread because the girl on the phone insisted that it was ‘really good’. Unfortunately, several items on their online menu aren’t available at all locations, and some of the items(like the peanut butter pie) aren’t offered at my local shop even though the menu doesn’t indicate that. So that was a disappointment because my mouth was already watering at the thought of it! The pizza was a bit pricey — for a medium-sized bacon cheeseburger pizza and a small cheesy bread delivered to my house(less than 5 minutes from the location) my total was $ 26. The cheesy bread was honestly nothing special, it was just pizza dough with browned cheese on top. It came with ranch and marinara for dipping, but it needed something… parmesan or garlic or something to give it some punch. My boyfriend was also unimpressed with it, we likely won’t order it again. The pizza was good and tasted fresh. We got just the regular hand-tossed dough and it was hot and gooey when it arrived. Didn’t notice grease or anything that some other reviewers have said. However, not sure if it was really worth the cost(almost $ 16 for not a very big pizza) and we will probably get a different pizza next time we order here. The pizza was much better cold the next morning as leftovers. We ended up tossing the rest of the cheesy bread out though. Their sandwiches and pasta look good, so we’ll give this place another shot.

Since trying Olive Oil’s for the first time about a month ago, it immediately became the favorite! We are lucky enough to live on the west side of Miller Road in Rowlett so we get to experience delivery which is always fast and the pizza is hot. Zuko’s has always been our go-to for pizza before Olive Oil’s, but no more!!! Thin crust is perfect and they are super generous on the toppings making the«slightly-higher-than-I-wish-it-was» cost worth it! I’ve also had the Caesar Chicken Hoagie — AHHHMAZING, and the Tiramisu was OUTSTANDING!!! C’mon, man, try it — it’s pizza! You got nothing to lose!

I had never heard of this place until my job ordered their pizza for lunch months ago. The pizza was delicious and fresh, loved it. However, my main reason for this review is not the pizza, even though I did like it. I just recently discovered(or had the nerve to order) their«Flying Pig» sandwich. Let me tell you something, this sandwich is everything and so much more. It is on a 12″ hoagie roll and has pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, capicola, bacon, Canadian bacon, beef, chicken, green olives, black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, tomato, jalapenos and mozzarella and provolone cheeses. And when I say they are not stingy with toppings, believe me. For those that can’t eat the whole thing, they do offer the«Piglet» which is the half of the Flying Pig. The price range is not cheap but not outrageous, either. The Flying Pig goes for 13.99 and you can easily get two meals out of it. The Piglet is 7.99. If you are looking for a hearty sandwich, give this one a try. No, your arteries or waistline will not thank you. BTW– Since you already are pigging out, why not end the meal with their delicious chocolate suicide cake. It is rich, chocolately and will complete your already gluttonous meal.

I hate to rate this so low but you guys know I am a tough pizza critic. I was reading all the rave that was written and I felt like I must have been in the wrong place. Additionally, it is not a far drive so I thought why not today. I feel an extreme sense of loss: …of money… of calories… of enjoyment. I do not waste food… so of course I finished it off. C’mon now! We clean plates in my family. But unfortunately I was so thouroughly and utterly disappointed that I will not ever be returning. And don’t misunderstand me. The service was okay. The menu was visually pleasing and extensive but not overwhelming. The shop was nice, neat and clean. The price was okay, not great but okay. It was $ 9.99 for a small size, 10″ pizza. The major issue was ultimately the product. I ordered a small ½ combo ½ vegetarian, add grilled chicken. Nothing tasty to report out. Not the sauce. Not the cheese. Not the crust. Not the toppings. The chicken was not enjoyable. I have some after taste lingering so I’m gonna hunt down some gum to erase this one from my memory or at least my taste buds. The pizza was just… in a word… tolerable. Sorry guys, I’m SMH.
