We visit every weekend for breakfast, and occasionally during the week for lunch or dinner. The breakfast menu is extensive — my favorites are the raisin bread French toast, Mexican Eggs, or migas, always with a side of their tasty bacon. My husband enjoys the Hey Arthur omelet(quite spicy, to his great liking). For lunch or dinner, I especially like their variety of salads(chicken or tuna is my favorite), or their great sandwiches(BLT is especially good). Service is friendly and responsive, and the environment is comfortable.

Enjoyed nice dinner here last week. Nice to have a place with home cooking in town and reasonably priced. They have a nice variety of food.

Migas weren’t good. Not made with real tortillas. Other than than good was nothing spectacular. Service was great. Pity the food was a let down.

Cold mac, chewy chicken fried steak, bland mashed potatoes, corn from a can, burnt cornbread. On the upside, the tea was good. Wanted to love it. Is close to home, heard it was good. Not impressed will not be back.

Tried new restaurant to us, and it was nothing special. We got build your own omelette that first came out over-cooked. Sent it back then was not cooked all the way through. Daughter got cat fish, she enjoyed, but fish was very thin and nicely battered. I do not recommend. Norma’s next door is so much better.

Great chicken fried steak & gravy! We have made Rustic Ranch our Thursday night special and I am working my way through the menu. I haven’t found anything I didn’t like

So I have mixed review about RRG. I have eaten take out food at least 5 times since they opened and each time it has been a little different experience. Overall, the food is good. I have to assume by the amount of available options and price points that the food is not fresh. The cheese sticks are delicious! I’d bet they are Cisco. The CFS is good too and the mash potatoes are freshly smashed. We’ve also ordered the burger which was okay and cheese fries which were sort of terrible. The food is what you would expect from a tiny restaurant in the suburbs. What I didn’t expect was when I ordered potato soup, they literally cut up a baked potato and pour milk over it and microwaved it… seriously? I had to throw it in the ninja with cheese and chives when I got home. Tsk tsk.

The place was nearly empty on a Saturday at 7pm. This should have been our first clue. We were seated immediately — of course. Female server was extremely pleasant. Pre-meal bread basket had warmed rolls that looked and tasted store bought, as well as slightly warmed cornbread. The food came out quickly since ours was the only order in the kitchen. Everything was bland across the board. Across our party we ordered fried shrimp, french fries, onion rings, fried pickles, chicken fried steak, fried okra and a Royale burger. No seasoning on anything; not even salt was applied. I think it was one step below fast food. For the price I expected much more. None of us finished our meals. Need more effort put forth here. Not going back.

So I came across this restaurant because I was in the neighborhood and me and my friend were craving burgers. We have never came here before and wanted to try it out. We both had the bacon cheeseburger and thought it was great! We came in at 9:00pm feeling a bit bad because they close at 9:30 but they still treated us very well and the waiter was nice! I would recommend it ! I can only speak about the burger since I haven’t been here to try anything else. The menu is big with different kinds of food! Y’all should check it out !

My husband & I indented to go to the neighboring restaurant, Norma’s, after church this morning. When we parked in the lot we noticed this new place, Rustic Ranch. My husband with his open mind wanted to try it out, but I was set on chips & salsa… So we got out of the car, walked up to Norma’s & dang it! They were closed. Long story short I was forced to go to Rustic Ranch & I’m glad I was. The staff was super & surprisingly friendly for the area, the service was fast &THEFOOD was hot, fresh & delicious. I had the Cuban Sandwich with Fried Okra. I was very pleased with my order! The French bread was nicely toasted & the sandwich was built of buttermilk fried pork loin, grilled ham & tons cheddar cheese. & Who has okra as a sandwich side anyway?! Nobody! I freaking love the menu maker here… Hubby had Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy & Mac & Cheese. He said it was delicious, which is a huge complement to the cook because my husband can be hard to please. Especially when it comes to chicken fried steak & mac & cheese! There’s one last thing I feel is worthy of mentioning… The portions are huge. My sandwich & okra was enough for two. I’m excited about sharing the new addition on Colonel & Broadway with my friends & family. I know they’ll appreciate the good food, affordable prices & top notch service!

Great American Grill. Great café atmosphere. Large menu selections. Also breakfast served til 11:00 am. Lunch and dinner specials. I’ve had chicken fried steak, meatloaf, beef tips, rib eye and cheese burger. All very good. Also lots of veggies as sides. Loved the onion rings. Take out available also.

We made the terrible mistake of trying this place since it was new and in the same spot as the now closed Red Crab. I got the ribeye which was only $ 13. That should have raised a red flag right away. It may have been only $ 13 but it tasted like an $ 8 steak. Like a steak you would get at IHOP or Waffle House. Pretty sure it was cooked from frozen and was flat with no flavor whatsoever. Vegetables were from a can as far as I could tell. These people don’t have a clue. I give it less than a year unless they do something to change the menu and food preparation. All the money invested went to the décor but none to the menu.

This was my second visit here, the first was very shortly after they opened and pretty good. This morning however, breakfast did not go quite as well. I went with my girlfriend, she had the migas, and I had the hey hot Arthur. The service left quite a bit to be desired. The food was ok. My girlfriend’s migas, we’re cooked fairly well, it even seems as though they fry up their own tortillas o instead of using the prepackaged tortilla strips. The waitress however, did not over our bring the either the red or green salsa that was supposed to come with it. But both of those were below average quality and flavor anyways. I ordered the hot hey Arthur, which is a chorizo and jalapeño omelette. Mine sucked. The ratio of egg to chorizo and jalapeño was way out of whack. I’ll go back, but I was extremely disappointed this morning
