I always get the huge green chili pepper burger with turkey burger substitute on wheat bun. Add sweet potato fries and you have a very flavorful meal that you can barely finish. It’s enough to share. Great grill chicken sandwich here also. My wife has a hard time choosing grill or fried chicken sandwich. The salads are good as well. All their portions a big enough to share.

Oh my god. What he happened to my favorite burger place?! Expect much more nasty attitude then before and an abandoned effort to give any level of service anymore. Scotty Ps=Scotty D-! I quit.

The décor seems a bit fancy for a burger place but is nice and welcoming. You walk in and select your items from the menu over the registers and then so find a place to sit while you wait for your order. They have some large booths that could easily hold six people. They also have smaller booths and tables. Not a terrible large restaurants as restaurants go. The staff is friendly. Seems to be a very small staff. My wife ordered the Greek chicken kabob platter and really enjoyed that. I ordered their original burger and fries. We decided to also order a small order of onion strings. My burger was a bit hard to bite into which led me to wonder if it had actually been pre-cooked and then warmed up when my order was placed. It seemed to have been formed in one of those burger press type things as it had a perfectly round shape and even depth all around. All burgers are cooked to medium well unless you specify otherwise. My fries were okay. Not really seasoned or anything. Nothing to write home about as they say. We were glad we ordered the small size of the onion strings. That little plate which is half the size of the plate that burger and fries come on was stacked about six maybe seven inches high with the onion strings. Way more than we needed so we shared it with others at our table. They were okay. I have had better. Wouldn’t order them again. They offer only unsweet tea. No matter how much sugar I used it never did sweeten up. If I went back here it would be to try the Greek chicken kabob platter that my wife liked. Don’t think I would order another burger there again. My wife developed a really upset stomach after eating which she attributes to the grease in the onion strings. So we won’t order those again either. Really there was nothing that I ate that stood out as something that I would want to come back for again. Doesn’t really seem to be anything about this restaurant that makes it stand out from other burger places except the fancy décor. Hey if you like this place, great. May you enjoy it for many years to come! I’m doubtful that I will be back. Just nothing there to draw me back in again.

The second time here. The first time was good, but I forget what I was older. This time We all was older chess burger, but the burger patty was cold. I feel a lil disappoint.

I do not understand why people are bashing this place. The price is a bit high, but the food is not as bad as people say it is. I been to worse and this was not one of them The environment was homey and was very pleasant in terms of a casual date or a quick lunch with a friend. The place is not loud but is great for group gatherings as well. The bbq cheddar burger was great, the bbq was amazing. The load cardiac fries was also a great taste with ranch. I feel the cheese was a bit dry, but it did taste great none the less.

Yeah can here for the first time and it is overpriced for the quality of food I could have gone to any other burger joint and got the same quality food for half the dollar. And the cardiac fries are bland.

Well, the Burger would have made it a 5 Star review if the Swiss cheese would have actually been swiss cheese instead of the processed American swiss. For the price you are paying I would have expected swiss The onion rings where bland with no sauce.

Craving a hot dog and decided to give this a try. Most unusual dog but very good. They slice it and give it to you on a hamburger bun, interesting, messy, but good

Easily the best burgers at Firewheel. You won’t be disappointed with their food. I got the BBQ Burger and just about everything was perfect on it. The meat was cooked to just the right temperature. My only critique for the burger is that they use shredded cheese instead of slices, which I have no problem with, but it wasn’t melted all the way. The put the cheese on top of the BBQ sauce(which was very thick) so the hot meat couldn’t melt it. I also recommend you go with the sweet potato fries. They are thin and crispy, which is perfect.

Scotty P’s always delivers quality product in a clean environment. This is at least the third location I have been to and I always enjoy my meal. Their onion rings are the best I can think of.

‘The Preston” chili-burger was very tasty! The onion strings were piled up so high on my plate I almost couldn’t see my wife! She had the«Garland» and was just as impressed. the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. I highly recommend Scotty P’s and I will be going there again.

25 minute wait? For a burger. Ok. Ordered the Hatch Chilli burger and Onion Rings. Burger was ok. Nice soft wheat bun, good flavor, although I wish I would have added lettuce and tomato. Onion rings were overcooked, had some black edges, but they were also barely warm. Can’t give this place better than a two, given the price, wait and quality.

I think this place is solid, but I am never overly impressed. I do love some fries covered in cheese and bacon at times, but I think the ones at Snuffers and Jake’s are preferable. I went here a few days ago with my sister, nephew and friend. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken. The salad was good with a decent serving, except the amount of chicken was really small for the serving size and price. I was expected to simply have some of their grilled tenders on top. Instead it was a few cut up pieces and they didn’t seem to have that same marinade I like, it was bland. My sister got the grilled chicken tenders and fries and really enjoyed them, the marinade they use on the grilled tenders is delicious. My nephew and friend both got basic cheese burgers and they both said they were good. They didn’t overly rave but thought they were well cooked and seasoned well. The service was good and the food came out pretty fast. Overall for the price, I think it is a solid fast casual restaurant. However, don’t expect to be wow’d by anything.

The green hatch chili hamburger was great. Just the right amount of heat and the onion strings that come on it were very tasty. These are good burgers and worth every penny. This is a fairly large restaurant with plenty of seating. There are several tv’s. This is a good location in Fire Wheel, just on the east side of 78. I would recommend this place.

Been here a few times long ago and it was pretty good but tonight was great. I had the hatch green chili burger. It had a pile of green chilis, onion straws, and a mound of melted cheese. The burger patty was nice and medium and the bun was soft and tasty. We shared a half onion ring half fried pickles. The onion rings tasted home made. The good kind of home made. They were thick, crunchy, and loaded with flavor.

I’m specifically reviewing the chicken tenders at Scotty P’s in my quest to rate and rank the best chicken tenders in Dallas. Rolled up to Scotty P’s near Firewheel Mall recently to try the chicken tenders. Scotty P’s is really a burger joint, not overly famous for their burgers so I my expectations were tempered a bit. Tempered or not, these chicken tenders are for real! My inner 7 year old was delighted to see a heaping pile of 5 gigantic hand-battered, deep-fried chicken tendery goodness clinging to one another for fear of tumbling off the plate. This was a feast. The tenders were not only huge, but very tender and juicy. The batter was crispy, not to thick, not too thin, not too greasy– just right. The honey mustard was also very good. I can’t speak to their burgers, but the chicken tenders here are legit and big enough to feed a small family, or share with someone you love… or at the very least can tolerate eating off the same plate as you. But get your own drinks.

Still disorganized and forgetful, only worse than before. My two kids ordered cheeseburgers; not a difficult task. My daughter’s came back with the patty lukewarm and the cheese not melted, and my son’s was missing cheese altogether. I walked them back to the counter and gave SPECIFIC instructions on what to correct. The cashier walked them back several minutes later claiming that all had been done. But nothing had been changed; they were in the same mistaken configuration as before only a bit cooler. Ridiculous.

Was craving burgers and went here as a suggestion… definitely hit the spot and was juicy! The fries were also very delicious and golden brown! I ordered the burger with the mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and onions… I can’t quite remember the name of it. The only thing is that I wish the cashier asked me how I wanted my burger because I usually order my burgers with a little pink in it. Since they didn’t ask I didn’t bother to request it since I don’t really know how their cook is nor did I want something raw in my mouth. Overall 4 stars!

These guys were great, but over the years the food ha been lacking with increased prices. Either the burger is too pink, or too burnt. Fries used to be much tastier. I don’t get the burgers anymore though. I stick to the huge chicken strips. Scotty P, your food is in decline. Stop charging so much for a burnt burger!!!

I always get the turkey burger when I’m here and it’s really good, it’s just that the staff seems to have an attitude and they really overcharge for a burger and fries. It’s good, but not that good. French fries are nothing special, taste like normal, every day french fries. Was hoping to try their sweet potato fries but there was a $ 2 up charge for them? I’m already paying like $ 10 for a burger and fries, is the up charge really necessary? It’s not gourmet. Last time I went the girl got my order wrong and didn’t even apologize just looked at me like I was annoying and kind of gave me the«are you really going to make me take it back?» face. Well, yes, when I tell you I’m allergic to tomatoes and you put a freshly sliced tomato on my burger, you’re going to have to remake it. Or I could, you know, vomit uncontrollably in the middle of your restaurant. Whichever you’d prefer, sorry to be a bother.
