Waffle House

Our waitress was very lazy and the entire restaurant was dirty, tables still had food and trash from previous customers. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all yet none of the waitresses cleaned up .i will not be returning to this location.

I knew going into this wafflehouse at this location off the highway and Jupiter was gonna be bad but I wanted to give it a try anyway. My expectations were low and boy were they right. The place looked dingy, dirty and ghetto. Service was super slow but we did have a newly hired waitress who was nice so we tried to work with her. Food was average. We just got a dirty bad vibe from everyone, other than our waitress. The only decent wafflehouse that I know is the one in Mesquite off Oates which we will continue to go and avoid this one. The people working here really have to be more inviting to their guests.

It’s Waffle House, so I wasn’t expecting much, but it was pretty dirty, and the service was lacking. The food was mostly ok, though they got our hash brown order wrong. The coffee was gag-​worthy.
The best/​worst part was when our server came from the back, grabbed the salt and pepper off of our table, and took it to the back to use on her own food. She never returned it, either, and it would have helped with the flavor of the food.
It was christmas eve, so we stayed in good spirits, but this location is the worst of Waffle Houses, and that’s saying something.

I was really excited to try this place because the ratings seemed good. Honestly the service sucked, it exemplified poor training with no attention to detail. Our waitress messed my boyfriend and I’s orders up 4 times total. First off, I ordered the Texas, bacon egg and cheese sandwich that comes with hash browns, and I requested a chocolate chip waffle on the side. My boyfriend had a blueberry waffle with bacon, hash browns, and eggs over easy.
1. My waffle was plain, I told the waitress and she came back with the same waffle with just chocolate chips thrown on top. I asked her why weren’t they put inside the batter and she said they didn’t do that. (My boyfriends waffle had blueberries mixed in the batter)
2. Both my boyfriend and I had eggs over easy. She asked us three different time if she had scrambled eggs and then when we finally said no we don’t like scrambled eggs, she showed me her pad that said O/​E and assured us she got it. Still came out with scrambled eggs confused as to who they belonged to. Said she wouldn’t charge us if we wanted them.
3. My breakfast sandwich was wrong, even when I was ordering she asked me repeatedly if I had the chicken bacon and cheese sandwich. I didn’t. Still fucked up and got it wrong.
4. My boyfriend received burnt hash browns.
If I could rate my experience here with zero stars, I would. I didn’t even feel like paying, this dinner sucked so much. Literally wouldn’t have paid and would’ve tipped like a dollar if it was my turn to pay, but my boyfriend has such a big heart this stupid bitch got 4 $ on a 23 $ ticket. Waffle houses waiters need more training, she was polite, but fuck she’s like the shittiest waitress I’ve had in awhile.

Worst service I’ve received in a while, called in a togo order and Tammy took my order by phone but she forgot to put the order in so I had to wait 20 minutes on my to go order that I had called in and she had an attitude about it then proceeded to let my food sit while it was done and we were waiting for about 6 minutes before I said something to cover my food and put it in a togo bag, she shoved the bag in my face like get out of here please when she was completely wrong the whole time and I just wanted my food well worst service I’ve ever received will never come back to this establishment again

If you’re looking for a place that takes reservations and has valet service, then Waffle House is not for you. If you want white tablecloths and a vintage wine list. Look somewhere else. And if you want a place that calls bacon pork belly and burnt food caramelized, then try another place. But if you want a great breakfast at a fair price and employees who work hard and still can greet you with a smile, then you’ve found your home. That’s true of most WH’s, especially this one. Apparently people seek it out because this WH is busy in spite of road work that forces you to do a U-​Turn as soon as you leave the parking lot.
Our group of three had breakfast on a late Sunday morning. All our meals were prepared as ordered. Service was attentive. The place was clean, although we did not check the restrooms. And, although the place was packed when we got there, there wasn’t much of a wait. And no one who came in after us seemed to not have to wait very long. All in all a good experience.
Dallas is graced with a number of great breakfast places. WH is one of them.
Oh yeah, and breakfast for three? Just over 26 bucks.

Took 10−15min just to get a orange juice.
An then had to wait 20+ min for a waffle.
Went on a Saturday at 6:50 ish am.
Spent $ 5.00 for a regular waffle.
The waffle didn’t have a taste.
It was a plane regular waffle made in a waffle iron.
Syrup didn’t have a taste to it.
Was told by the waitress to get this Sandwich,
It had cheese, ham, egg.
Egg wasn’t cooked all the way.
Asked for scrambled an got fried an little runny.
Milk was from a small carton.

The reason I give it 2 stars is due to the service there is one skinny dark skinned black girl who is super rude stares at people just says what do you want no greeting no thank you know do you want a refill you have to ask just super super rude I wish I had her name the food I’m a cook gets 4.5 stars. But that server was absolutely terrible real skinny short with an ugly weave stay away from her terrible

Came here with some friends for the first time at around midnight. There were only 5 or so other customers in the whole restaurant and about half a dozen employees.
Waitress took 10 – 15 minutes to get me some water. I ordered a chicken bacon salad and received a it without the bacon. I let her know and said it would be fine just to bring the bacon without taking the salad back. Ten or so minutes later, she comes back and hands me a plate with two pieces of sausage on it. (?) By that time, I had finished the salad since it was tiny (much smaller than it should have been for a $ 7 salad.

Ich war schon in vielen Filialen von Waffle House, überall war ich zufrieden. Nur in einigen Fällen sollte man mehr auf Sauberkeit achten. Die Qualität der im Menüe Angebotenen Speisen waren immer OK. Die aussergewöhnliche Ausnahme erlebte ich jetzt in Garland. Wir gingen zum Breakfast in das Restaurant und Bestellten unsere Wünsche. Wir saßen dann einige Zeit unserem Tisch. Als sich gegenüber von uns 3 Männer mit Cowboyhüten an 2 verschiedenen Tischen ihren Platz einnahmen. Dann aber geschah das Aussergewöhnliche, die Jungs fingen alle an zu Rauchen !!! Das hat uns doch hier in USA sehr verwundert. Das Rauchverbot gilt auch in Texas. Die Kellnerin erklärte uns auf Nachfrage mit einem Augenzwinkern, Ja wir sind ein freies Land mit freien Bürgern, aber in Texas lebt man noch ein bisschen FREIER. Wohl dem der in Texas lebt :))

I would love to have been able to review the food here, but we never got a chance to eat. We had never eaten at a Waffle House before, but after reading the reviews here we thought we we’d give it a try. We followed a family of 5 into the restaurant. When we walk in we were surprised at how small the place is. No one greeted us and we were unsure of what to do. There were several empty booths that were all dirty. One had a sign on it that you needed reservations for more than 2 people for a booth. There also was a counter. There were some specials written on the wall, but the writing was so small you couldn’t read them. There were a bunch of workers behind the counter cooking. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated, and no one offered any help. There was a cash register at the end of the counter with signs that said you were to pay first. Again, there was no one to ask what to do. One of the workers started to clean one of the booths, but was taking one dish off at a time. We noticed someone who might have been a manager start to walk out then she walked back to the woman cleaning off the booth, said something to her, then turned around and walked out of the restaurant, not even noticing us or the other family there. Since we were on our lunch hour, and not knowing what to do, or wanting to wait another 10 minutes or more for a booth to be cleaned out, we just ended up walking out and going to a fast food restaurant down the street where, after we sat down with our food, noticed the other family that had been at the Waffle House, eating there as well. So, they lost out on the business of 2 tables because of their disorganization and lack of customer service.

Tonight we went ’ all the way ’ at the waffle house.
We recommend anyone who enters the waffle house also goes ‘all the way’!
We plan on finding waffle houses in Washington to go ‘all the way’ in.
Staff not only encouraged us to go ‘all the way’ but assisted us in going ‘all the way’.
Please people… Trust us– go ‘all the way’ at the waffle house. You’ll thank us. ;)

I feel crazy saying it, but I do love waffle house. Ridiculous right? Nope. What impressed me most about this location was the cleanliness. Yep, I found a clean Waffle House. Not an oxymoron. The service was friendly, quick and not what I had expected. The food. PERFECT!!!

Classic! This place is a serious tradition spot. Always great food and always great people watching. I get plenty of entertainment whenever I go to a Waffle House. The only thing on my visit was that my grits were a little lumpy so they had been on the burner for a little to long.

I love this waffle house! I go here for breakfast once every couple weeks and always get good unhealthy diner food. The best time to go is when the owner’s in there (I think he’s the owner — maybe just manager) because not only will you get better service from everyone when he’s there, but also he’s super friendly and if you go there enough will recognize you and come over and make sure you’re doing ok. (Yes, I’m enough of a waffle house addict that they know me there, haha.) Anyway, he’s usually there when they’re busy, like on Sunday afternoons. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because, come on, it’s waffle house, that’s not five-​star cuisine right there. But still so good when you feel like it.

All my friends make fun of me for loving Waffle House so much, but I swear it’s just great food! Especially this location– all the employees are amazingly friendly and the food is prepared well and right in front of you. It’s a damn sight better than fast food, that’s for sure.

My food was cooked very well. One of the better waffle houses. Jennifer was our waitress and was amazing. Very good service. Will be back soon.

This place is a real dive, but our breakfast was surprising good, and the prices are more than reasonable. I was really surprised. What they need to do is make the whole restaurant smoke free because it is small and the non-​smoking section does not really shelter non-​smokers from the pollution.

I LOVE THIS LOCATION! I usually go at night and the food is wonderful. i waitresses there are attentive and if you catch Art, the cook you are in for a treat. I got the cheesesteak omelet with double the cheese and hashbrowns smothered and covered. The omelet was like eating a cloud, it as fluffy and melts in your mouth! I have tried other Waffle House locations but can’t compare to this one. I get excited when Art is there cause he does a wonderful job on te grill!

Delightful service at 3AM– sweet tea was the best ever. My omelette was cooked to perfection and the hash browns crisp and delicious.
