Really love working here where I can see happy parents and happy kids having fun all day long. Our hours for this summer are:
Tue-​Sun 9 – 5
Monday we are closed for maintenance as we are starting to see larger crowds of people during the week.
Things you should try are usually the seasonal items that only debut a few months during the year. My personal list is:
Waterslide (after one week of continuous hot weather the waterslide opens and stays open until we hit a cooler temperature)
LeeAnn’s Luge is really fun and it is only open for a select amount of months during the cooler season.
Halloween is something we do every year in October for several days. You do need to call in and reserve yourself a slot as it is one of the busiest days of the year for us.
Mr. Bradley is a hill that is transformed into a little snow hill for the kids and parents during the really cold season. On average this month is usually early to mid January.

I Rated It:
I, as a parent, have to agree with Max. My rating: 3 Stars. My favorite: Laser Tag was definitely the hit and a great reason to stay awhile once you get there. Water slide was a great idea and necessary, on a day like today, to cool the boys off after all of the running around during 3 – 4 games of Laser Tag. I loved the swinging ropes and tires under the huge, absolutely gorgeous shade trees. So perfect for older boys!!!
$ 10/​each, and parents having to pay, is a bit steep for this place. $ 8 would be more fair for what you get. And, parents should not have to pay unless they are planning to slide or play laser tag.
It’s about an hour from Wake Forest area and not a huge place. Pretty good hike for what you get. I would probably take them back but earlier in the morning for the laser tag before it gets so hot. (We arrived around 1:30p.) There was hardly anyone there today so it would have been very boring for just me and Brandon to have gone alone. Definitely take a crew when you go. With that being said though I think a large crowd would turn me off. The lack of staff would cause long lines and long waiting periods. I’m not good at waiting, especially on a rare day of vacation.
Poor customer service was the number one reason for the park not receiving 5 stars. There is probably a good reason that only 4 cars were in the parking lot at 1:30p.m. during a day of summer break.

Potential but Lacking in Customer Service:
Does the place have potential? ABSOLUTELY! Lots of great ideas, tons of shade trees, and it is definitely a place BOYS love FOR SURE. It needs work though. Especially in the area of customer service.
There should never NOT be enough staff to run the water slide, causing you to have to wait for staff to finish running other groups through long, drawn-​out laser tag games, before your crew is able to get on to the water slide. Unacceptable and exactly what happened today. After I complained, two staff members RETURNED to the park (they had left for some reason leaving only a teen to run the place). The teen staff member running the Laser Tag called the lady who is in charge and told her I was complaining about the boys not being able to get on the water slide. He handed me the phone and she told me I should respect the way she runs her park. However, if she wants repeat customer business, free, positive, word-​of-​mouth advertising, then she needs to respect her customers (hard-​working, paying parents). She eventually made it right though by returning so the boys could get on the water slide, and that is what matters. However, don’t expect first rate service. These people seem like good people, have great ideas, but customer service education is desperately needed. Will probably give it a second chance, but not anytime soon.
TAKE WATER!!!
ALSO, take a cooler with WATER for sure, and snacks if you desire. A towel would be a good idea to sit on in the car.
