I am a safety consultant. I work about 50 weeks at construction projects all over the country. Every year, I would have to search for a local tax preparer to file my taxes. And while most tax prepares are familiar with tax issues for normal tax payers, there are many unique issues specific to people that work on the road. This resulted in many tax deductions being missed and resulted in me paying more taxes then required.
